“Nat is great” Loved the people, my difficult extra fine hair styled looked great. They have gorgeous comfortable chairs, newly upgraded salon. They do all ages hair, have a fantastic barber, experts on braids, selections of hair, toys you can buy to keep littles busy ( you know they don’t want to leave those behind!). They do all kinds of hair textures, extensions, some people travel far to come here.

Complaint Regarding Unprofessional and Inappropriate Behavior at Operations Hair Salon I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding a distressing experience I had with the owner of Operations Hair Salon, located on Monterey Road, on September 8,2024. My two children and I were visiting the bakery nearby, and since it was a quick stop, we parked in front of your salon. As we were getting out of the car, a woman, who I later learned was the salon's owner, approached us and mentioned that the parking spot was reserved for the salon. I politely explained that we were just heading to the bakery, and she assured me it was fine. Based on her confirmation, we hurried to the bakery, picked up our items, and returned to our car—only to find that she had parked her vehicle behind ours, blocking us in. I kindly went into the salon and requested that she move her car, as she was with a customer. I returned to my car and waited with my children for 10 minutes, assuming she would move her car in that time. When I went back inside to ask again, she refused and made a comment that led me to believe she was trying to "teach me a lesson" about respect. This situation escalated to the point where I had to call the police, as she was intentionally preventing us from leaving. While we were waiting, two kind strangers eventually helped guide my car out of the blocked spot. This entire experience left my children and me feeling trapped, and I couldn’t help but feel that the situation could have been handled with simple courtesy and respect. I would have gladly moved my car if I had been told upfront that parking there was not permitted. As a business owner, professionalism and customer service should be a priority. Unfortunately, the actions of your staff were far from acceptable, and this encounter has left me questioning the principles by which your salon operates. I sincerely hope you reflect on this incident and take steps to ensure that future interactions with both customers and non-customers reflect kindness and respect.

I’ve been coming here to get my hair done for about a year now and the experience is so positive! The shop is clean and the service is quick. I’ve come in for braids 3 times, they even did my braids for my wedding and it was beyond beautiful. I wore the braids throughout my honeymoon and they lasted so long through a few months. It’s tough to get a stylist in San Jose and I’m glad that I have Operation Hair for all my braids needs and I’ll keep coming here and telling everyone all about it! Great experience all across!

I am extremely impressed with this salon. I was immediately greeted and felt really welcomed. The salon is very nice and comfortable and all of the stylist are friendly and professional. Availability of appointment options is great and not overbooked. I came with a specific style in mind and Natalie executed precisely. I would definitely recommend this salon.

I spoke to the owner She was very nice she recommend to call her stylist so I did. Left a VM I have yet to hear back from the stylist! I called owner back she stated stylist probably is busy with a client... I will TRY AGAIN IN A WEEK.

Came to visit a friend in California with my granddaughter. I called this place for box braids for my granddaughter and was told text to confirm appointment and never heard back from noone. As a business woman...a business CAN'T be ran with horrible customer service.

Let me start by saying she took me on a Sunday last minute within 3 hours of our phone call. I've had my hair braided at several different locations all over, and this was hands down the best experience so far for the following reasons: -They prepped my hair properly and blow dried it completely without rushing it. -Braids we're neat, not too tight like others I've seen, and s didn't overuse product like others as well. -No fly aways whatsoever for the first week, and my braids maintained the best out of anyone I've had them done with. Absolutely no itch or anything I was very pleased. -Last but not least, the price was very reasonable which is why I'm about to call right now after this review and book her again!!!

Let me start by saying that natty and Stephy are truly the sweetest! I wanted box braids so I called and I was able to be seen the same day. To say that I liked my braids is an understatement, I LOVED them! Sitting in the chair while my hair was getting braided felt like I was hanging out with my sisters. 🥰 They had the best vibes and I will most DEFINITELY be back soon! My box braided lasted for almost two months and they still looked good when I took them out. Ladies and fellas come here to get your hair did, you will NOT be disappointed!

My birthday celebration was coming up on the weekend and I impulsively decided I wanted braid extensions. I called Operation Hair, fully expecting to be turned down, if my query were even answered. INSTEAD - NATALIE asked if I could arrive WITHIN THE HOUR. I didn't have hair for what I wanted, so she and her stylist STEPHANIE did their MAGIC! They pulled hair from thin air at the shop, color-blended it; tag-teamed braiding and finishing; and just like that, my birthday weekend was made 1000% more special. I was surprised that they weren't african american and thus even more impressed at how they successfully managed my african american hair and style. All pain free...❤ If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
