Heather and Eliseo are both the BEST curly hair stylists I have ever had cut my hair. I have gone to many curl salons, and the stylists at Orange salon are both the most knowledgeable, patient and skilled. If you have curly hair this is the place to go!

Eliseo did an amazing job on my hair! I had really long curls but I was ready for a change (but definitely freaked out). We took off probably about 18 inches and it looks great! He made the process super easy, looked at my reference pictures and made sure to take his time at the very end to make sure all the curls were cut to the proper length and shape. I haven't had short hair since the 5th grade and love it so much I'm not even sure I'll go back to long hair. Plus the salon is super adorable, their prices are great and they have a cat. What more can you ask for?

Eliseo is the best! I’ve been seeing him for years and just realized I’ve not left him a review yet! He keeps my curl game strong, the salon itself is super cute, and their products are pretty amazing. So fresh they keep them in the fridge. I’m a little crunchy so that makes me happy.

I went to Heather for a wash and style while I was in town for a wedding. It was great to have a knowledgeable curl specialist get my curls looking gorgeous before the event!

It's been a long time and they've since moved so I almost didn't recognize the place based on the new location, but then the memory hit me. The end result was OK but the experience was very unpleasant. She seemed completely at a loss about how to cut my hair... I think because it's curlier in some spots than others... and expressed a lot of uncertainty about how to approach it, which made me very anxious. I tried to politely give her an out but she declined, and I wish inhad trusted my gut and left before it started.

My 13 y/o daughter was getting her first super short cut and I was so worried she wouldn’t like it as it’s not something you can just toss in a ponytail and wait for it to grow out. Heather was a godsend with communication and got very detailed with her regarding what she was looking for and adjusted the haircut as they went based on my daughter’s feedback. The result was a cut she (and I) absolutely LOVE. I am so appreciative of Heather’s patience and care. I cannot recommend her enough. We’re beyond thrilled!!!!

Eliseo cares about his clients and I always leave happy and feeling great whether I try a new hair cut or just go for a trim. It makes such a difference having someone who understands curls of all shapes. Booking is easy online. And the salon itself is always clean and since each stylist has their own room, it's nice for when you want to go to the salon but don't want the noise.

Heather was able to meet me where I’m at in my curl journey and walk me through where I want to go. My curls have never felt better in my life! I’m so happy with the cut also. We went with a bob and took all the dead ends off. I’ve struggled with finding the right products and I’ll be saving so much money not looking for them. My husband was so happy with how she styled it. I’ll be back in six months! :)

Heather is so amazing! She truly tries to understand exactly what you want to achieve with your curls, explains to you what she's going to do before she actually does it so that you're both on the same page, which is SO important. Then gives you all of the knowledge you need to take care of them at home. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I am very appreciative of having found Heather. She is amazing at her work. I have never ever had the experience where a stylist took time to talk to me and get to know my hair and style before even touching it. This alone speaks volumes. I just cut my hair with someone who left me feeling like I was a chubby ten year old kid again, you know the haircuts our parents would give us so they wouldn't have to struggle with our hair? It was short and boxed and had no personality. It just felt and looked wrong. Heather took me through the whole process, made me feel comfortable, educated me, and gave me a cut that made me feel and look so much better. Highly recommend!

Love the staff and owner here! I've been going here since I moved to Austin 6 years ago and have never once been disappointed. The stylists are incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and are truly invested in the client's wants. I have a crazy head of curls and love their Deva cuts, they truly know how to take care of my wild mane every time. I recommend this salon to my friends and family, straight or curly hair, doesn't matter; I know that they'll walk out feeling brand new and incredibly happy with their choice!

Literally the best curly salon in Texas. I first found this amazing salon, when I first decided to go natural curly back in college while attending UT. The team here gave my first Devacut, taught me how to take care of my hair, and helped me through the transitioning process. I moved back to Dallas after graduating. I attempted to find a curly salon in Dallas was left no where near as happy as I was when I could go to Orange Salon regularly. From now forward I just make the drive to Austin to get my haircuts because it is that worth it! I personally have had my hair cut by Heather, Eli, and Brooke, who have all made my curly hair thrive. My favorite stylist of all is Heather. She has saved my hair on two different occasions in which I needed major big chops. Once after having gum stuck in my hair and second after having over processed bleach damage (done at another salon in Dallas not orange salon). Although sad I had to chop several inches off of my hair in those instances, Heather went way out of her way to make it a truly enjoyable experience. I left the salon with a big grin on my face and even bigger beautiful hair. She’s the only one on earth I would trust to cut my curls short. If you have curly hair, please trust orange salon to take care of your curls. You won’t be sorry.

This is the place to go if you have curly hair. They take their time to really figure out what you need and make sure you're happy with the end result. I got the best hair cut I've had in a while from here. As an added bonus, they have an adorable "concierge cat" that greets you on arrival and a chicken coop out back.

Eliseo is great! Cute, small place, but easy to miss because it's behind an ugly building, insurance business I think.
