This joint is ran by a kat named Tony. He's been cutting hair for ages and I remember Groom Theory when it started out in his mother's basement. Tone is a great individual and hires great talent. If you need a good cut and exceptional service, check him out.

If I could grade lower than this I would. I went to a stylist here twice. After growing my natural hair for over 7 years, I wanted to get my hair straightened AKA silky press. So I tried this stylist, but she did not place heat protect-ant on my hair, before she decide to place heat to my natural hair. Needless, to say I have not gone back since I realized the damage to my natural curls. Unfortunately, this happened on two back-to-back visits before I washed my own hair and became furious after assessing the major damage to my 4C curls. They now look like 2a curls. After I confronted her via text about this issue, she confessed and stated that she had NOT used heat protect-ant and she stated that the picture I sent to her was my natural curl pattern. She wanted to add that all her clients have healthy hair. Really, REALLY LADY. Just be aware because, I believe I encountered an individual who did not have a beauty license because isn't that hair styling 101. Use a heat protect-ant to not damage the clients hair. Sad thing is I tipped her 40% of the hair cost. This was definitely a hard lesson. I should have verified that she was using something to protect my hair from damage. Signed, Extremely Damaged Hair
