A must experience! Local neighborhood hidden jewel. Received my massage from Ellen today. I must say I felt so relaxed all evening afterwards. Atmosphere is euphoric and tranquil. Love the heated tables and spiritual ambiance. Definitely will be returning again soon.

As a professional barber ( named Cory Harris ) with 30 yrs of shop experience ( currently @ Mecca Unisex Salon located at 1432 Cecil B Moore Ave in Philly) ; I ache naturally and the staff at "Our Kingdom Spa" have done a wonderful job of bringing me comfort and ease physically, mentally, as well as spiritually. Praise is due to God and thanks are due to Ellen and Shenita for such holistic help.

I scheduled an appointment on the phone & they were so kind. I had to cancel the appointment the next day & they were so understanding. We were able to book me & my Godmom for an appointment. We showed up & Ellen & Love greeted us at the door. They instantly started playing gospel music & set the atmosphere. Love gave me a massage & Ellen massaged my Godmom. The place was saturated in praises. Ellen was praying over my mom & worshipping over her. She listened to her troubles & allowed her to cry. Love was so gentle with me. The pressure was perfect! The place was covered in scriptures. There was the armor or God in the room. After our massages they told us how intentional God is & had us pick a bracelet out of a bag. The whole experience was perfect! 10/10 definitely recommend! I will for sure be back!

Overview : I had such an excellent massage with the massage therapist, Love. She brought me tea and I felt very at peace. I truly loved that it was more of a faith based black owned setting massage place. I value my belief system so much and I am selective with who touches me. How does it work? : I had to fill out forms since this was my first time, the forms detailed information regarding experiences with massages, body pain areas, and contact info. The Massage : I received the Swedish Massage from Groupon. The Experience : Honestly I fell asleep, my shoulders and back hurt tremendously, and she worked her way through all the knots in both areas. It felt like such a relief. The body oil that was rubbed in smelled lovely and the scents to smell for aroma therapy were pleasant. Would you come back? : I would definitely come back to have another massage! This gem was recommended by my husband as he has been a repeat customer. Cute spot that feels cozy as soon as you walk in. Shenita, the spa coordinator was so welcoming and sweet, she made me comfortable as soon as I walked in. Ellen, the owner, is full of energy and made me feel right at home as well. My husband and I did a couples massage and it was amazing! I left feeling great! Not only from the massage but the great customer service. I look forward to trying some of the other services they provide, and will definitely will be a repeat customer!

Ellen and her team hosted my best friend bachelorette. They catered to the event and the group of 9 of us. They were so kind, served us with the utmost humility and grace. They also have magical hands. I was so tensed and knotted but left feeling so relaxed. Would definitely recommend!

I have had massages from hand and stone for years and never have I ever had such an excellent massage therapist provide attention to my trouble spots without me saying a word. They are kind, intentional and excellent at what they do.. I will definitely be coming back..

Our Kingdom Spa and Massage is a hidden gem in the Mt. Airy neighborhood. It’s an unassuming building, but Ellen has made it into a simple, no frills yet quiet and calming atmosphere. As a busy surgical resident, I barely have enough time to eat, yet I have been able to fit in a couple sessions with Ellen. 1. Scheduling is so easy and flexible, and 2. it makes such an immediate difference in my shoulders and back. I have had massages before that are relaxing but don’t change much, but I get relief even from haphazard sessions with Ellen because of good pressure in just the right spots and the hot stones.

Best masseuse in Philly. Ellen cares about her clients, is flexible with appointments and works to give you comfort and relief with the massages. I love the cream she uses. I purchased some and it’s great for dry skin, a little goes a long way. I brought it months ago and I still have plenty left.

Went there over the weekend and had a deep tissue. It was amazing used hot stones to help get the problem areas I had. Worked some of my knots out and will definitely be going back already set up my next appointment! Lightly recommend as she cares about her clients and is very knowledgeable.

I went today and had a deep tissue massage. Ellen was Wonderful! She combined heat and massage which I think helped in breaking up my tight knots. Ellen also went right to the areas in my back that were tight and inflamed. She also offered me a discount for my first time and music plus light conversation were great. I will definitely be going back.
