This is the 2nd time I’ve been to Josue at this salon. The first time my hair turned out amazing. He had color corrected from Red to blonde highlights with light brown. I loved it so much! After that I was brown for awhile and tried to have a friend do my hair and she messed it up completely and guess again Josue fixed it! I feel bad for having him kee correcting it but I am fortunate that my hair isn’t fried. He’s so awesome, great vibes and honest about the process. I never went to anyone else in the salon but I highly recommend him. I’m a mom of 3 and felt beautiful again after having my last child lol. I love the way he styled my hair. Price wise, appropriate for the service.

Brandon-B is super gentle, detail oriented, patient and highly skilled with everything hair - be it color, or a cut. He makes your hair beautiful.

They are very careless, my hair was burned/damaged and is all falling out now. The owner offered treatment and then changed her mind the day of the appointment. Jesus was the name of “hairdresser” I would put 0 stars if I could. Terrible establishment, highly advise everyone to stay far away from this place.

I have been going to Gina for over 8 years. She is a brilliant hairdresser. She shows great attention to detail, is a fantastic colorist and great cutter. I highly, highly recommend her

I've been going to Brandon for years, and he's amazing! I get compliments on my hair pretty much every day, but more importantly, I actually really like my hair now. I used to dread getting haircuts (so many people have no idea what to do with curls!), and my hair was one of my biggest insecurities. But Brandon's amazing skill with curly hair + his positivity and kindness have made me look forward to visits and feel great about my hair. I don't live anywhere near here for most of the year, but I never go anywhere else. He is the only person who I trust to 1) not hurt me at all while doing my hair, and 2) give me an amazing style that I feel confident with but doesn't require a lot of upkeep. I feel really lucky to have found Brandon! :)

I went in for the first time to this salon, I had an appointment with Brandon who was so incredible and genuinely kind and I’ll continue to go to him to my hair. He’s very detail oriented and he did an amazing job on my hair. So grateful for him, I’ve had a tough time finding a good hairdresser and I’m relived I’ve found Brandon. 10/10 would recommend

So I visited Oz yesterday, August 15th, 2023 to get my hair done and I thought it would be helpful to write a review to give you an idea of what to expect when you visit this OZ salon first time... let me tell you, finding parking was quite a challenge on the crowded downtown streets of Willow Glen. I somehow ended up in the back parking lot and struggled to locate the salon back entrance. Thankfully, the receptionist came to the back to get us.... My first impression of the salon was positive – it had a clean and cool vibe...my daughter had her hair cut first while I watched. I like the outcomes – a neat and straight cut at the back that I asked for my daughter. And by the way, she's only 5 years old. When it was my turn, the stylist shampooed my hair, then blow-dried and cut my hair while it was dry. I like that-I prefer it over wet cut. However, I must admit that the pricing took me by surprise. I've never paid $150 for a haircut before and my daughter's haircut cost $65 – which was also higher than what I'm used to paying. I even gave the hair stylist a $45 tip. When I mentioned this to my husband, he couldn't believe it – he thought I was crazy. I did like my haircut though... So, here's my advice for you: always inquire about the price before booking an appointment with the stylist, especially if you are a first timer.... and since you gonna pay the stylist directly, their pricing can vary. It was my first time at Oz Salon and I had no idea haircuts here could be so expensive, especially since it's not an ultra-fancy place. I had an appointment booked elsewhere for $85 for a women's haircut and $40 for kids but they ended up canceling on us due to overbooking. In the end, I chose to come to Oz last minute because I assumed a haircut here might be in the range of $80-100. Boy, was I wrong! My husband won't let me spend that much money on hair anymore^_^. 4 stars due to prices!!!

My hairstylist, Brooke, is the best! She understands hair and in matter of seconds, she knows exactly what to do (my hair isn't easy to deal with according to every hairstylist that I have went to in my life). She takes the time for each phase: consultation, wash, cut, dry, cut again, style. She also teaches me how to use the tools, products, and most importantly how to deal with my hair at home :) This is such a nice experience for me that I am looking forward to the next appointment with her. Virginia is my favorite hairstylist of all time. She listens to exactly what I want and cuts it perfectly. She also offers good insight on other things we can do to make my hair look better, which I really appreciate. I would highly recommend her.

My sons mom set up an appointment for my son with Gina for Wednesday(today). About an hour before the appointment she called to say she was running late. I arrive at the time requested, front desk informs me she's running late still. 10 min later front desk comes and tells me that Gina didn't know it is for a child and said she wasn't able to do his hair. Why even accept the appointment? Wasting ones times like that is extremely unprofessional, luckily I have enough time to find another salon that won't waste my time.

Awesome, chic, sexy, hip salon. Super clean and vibrant. Love the long 35 minute drive to visit with our stylist - Evita. Took me 20 years to find the stylist who knows how to style, cut, wash, and pamper my hair. She does fantastic colors for the wife. Excellent cuts for teenage girlz and boyz. Best of all, my style rocks and I feel cool. LOVE Evita!

Got my hair done by Kory 1 time and didn't like the job he did, so I went back and got it re done and after that I was satisfied. A couple weeks later I wanted to schedule and appointment with him again, only for them to tell me he quit which was sad new to me because I wanted my hair done by him again! Then I'm walking by the store one day and I see Kory cutting someone's hair... clearly still working there. So they lied to me saying he quit because he didn't like me and the fact that he had to do my hair again. I accepted the fact they had done this and scheduled an appointment with another lady there. When I made the phone call to set it up they said," we have notes written down about you saying you don't voice what you want so just make sure you know what you want when you come in this time". I was shocked to hear this and cancelled my appointment after that. I was embarrassed and my feelings were hurt knowing my stylist is talking bad about me, and lying all because I didn't like my first dye job. I thought "the costumer is always right" and we should be satisfied for something we're paying money for but not to Kory I guess! Also this is random but he blocked me on Instagram after this too. Very very unprofessional and rude.

This was my first visit after SIP opening. They did a great job fitting all the stations with guards and barriers. It's clear they are taking client safety seriously.
