Ree and Sarah were awesome. The receptionist was super nice and really helped me out by getting me in the same day. The whole vibe of the salon was very positive.

I received a simple gel manicure for my natural shorter nails and the next day it was peeling and chipping. I have never had this happen. I sent pictures and called. They booked an appointment the following day to have them fixed. The new tech said it was a bad manicure and the tips weren’t capped. She did not remove the polish she filed and buffed each nail and then removed the polish from 1 nail that was peeling back. She then applied new polish just to the tips of each nail. I was charged a fee to fix them and asked to tip. The next morning they were chipping again. I emailed and sent photos again and asked for a refund at this point. I received no response.

My first time at Paint was fantastic! Everyone was friendly and was offered a mimosa. Sarah R. provided excellent service with a manicure with simple nail art. I’ve never had nail art before and asked her for help deciding what to do and she did great. Definitely recommend paint and Sarah!

I've been coming to Paint for almost a year now - my daughter turned me into this company with a conscience. I love the products because they are formaldehyde free, non toxic and clean ingredients. Orlando is professional and super friendly. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here twice, and both times the left feeling a little cheated…. It is a beautiful solan, over priced, the techs are very nice. But my problem is that I ALWAYS feel rushed. It’s uncomfortable and unfair to pay this much and feel so rushed and on to the next client. I really feel they are all about making more money and not treating clients well.

My friend and I went to Paint ( Sarasota) today for pedicures. The pro was that one tech was friendly and the salon is clean. The other tech was very cold and was listening to earbuds the entire time and barely interacted with us. The pedicures themselves were the bare minimum for the $48 option. Clip, file wash, lotion and paint. The chair and pillow are uncomfortable and the sink had no soak solution or jets. One tech offered me a drink but "earbuds" tech did not and also missed top coat on one toe because she clearly was not paying attention to her client. The front desk woman didn't ask how the service was so that is why we chose to leave the review here. It was disappointing since it was supposed to be a treat for us since I am visiting from out of town.

The prices are a bit more than I'm used to paying, but I needed something open late and it is conveniently located downtown by free parking. Everyone in the salon was lovely, particularly Italy who did my manicure. She did a great job and seems to be a genuinely nice person.

Went to the downtown Sarasota Fl location and had a manicure with Taylor- she was detail oriented, gave a beautiful shape to my nails and took the time to ensure a quality manicure! I will certainly recommend her to my friends! Bravo Taylor and thank you for your exceptional attention to detail and wonderful service! I was a very satisfied client.

I've been coming to Taylor at PAINT for almost a full year, and my nails have never looked better! I love that the salon does not use electric drills, and they truly care about the integrity and health of your nails. Taylor always does such a beautiful job on my nails and is such a pleasure to chat with during my appointments. I always leave feeling relaxed, pampered, and more beautiful than when I walked in. My experience with other nail techs and front desk staff at PAINT has been equally fantastic. I'll be a PAINT customer for the foreseeable future!

Absolutely terrible experience. My mom scheduled an appointment in advance to get her gel removed and reapplied. Right when she sat down, they said they may not have time to finish her nails. They got halfway through the process of redoing the gel nails and told her she had to return. She came the next day to have them done… less than a week later, they’re chipping and look horrible. Will not return and would not recommend! Bad attitudes and bad results.

Why would I ever choose to be pampered with a nice manicure when the nail technician starts my appointment with an attitude? She told me she may not be able to complete my service because we were starting 10 minutes late. I assured her I was waiting on time to check in behind the very talkative customers who were checking out. The kind girl at the front desk was trying to move on to check us in but she just got backed up. I assured the front desk gal I was okay to wait and perhaps her technicians also needed to learn some flexibility. She apologized, which the technician never did… same nasty attitude. Again, why would I choose to spend my time and money here when there are dozens of kind nail technicians in Sarasota? Very disappointing.

This location is fantastic all around. Deb does a wonderful job making the whole operation look effortless! The techs that took care of my daughter, and I gave us the royal treatment, and the quality of the polish is phenomenal. Excellent attention to detail in a beautiful environment.

I have been coming here for over 6 months and was part of their passport program. I had an awful experience with one of the front desk staffs and 2 calls and an email later- I have not received any response or call back. This shop did not meet the standards set of their own mission and philosophy. I was coming off of a hard day of work and expecting to relax, rewind and have my nails done. Instead I was met with hostility, condescension and unprofessionalism. I know this becomes a “he said she said”,” but I was immediately met with rudeness and an attitude which immediately put me on the defensive. And to be frank, quite shocked as I had never had that experience there before. Several sly under-the-breath comments later, I did become very offended and requested to speak with a manager and have my appt cancelled. When they told me there was no one there and the owner was coming in in 30 minutes, I did say I would like to proceed forward with my appt while I waited. The staff proceeded to tell me absolutely not, cancelled my appt and then charged me the full amount and not even my passport charge along with gratuity. I waited 40 mins to speak with the owner and per the front desk staff who had offended me - when she arrived , did not have time to talk to me and would call me. 2.5 weeks later, another phone call, an email and I have still not heard back. On top of this, the front desk staff who offended me then told me to wait until she was done with a customer And she would “talk” to me outside. Needless to say, when I walked outside with her, there was only hostility, condescension, and aggression which made me so uncomfortable that I left immediately from the street as I did not know what she was going to do to me. This all began when I walked in 7 minutes late because I couldn’t find parking downtown with my service dog who was K9 trained and helped me through my breast cancer diagnosed at age 32. This was an easily fixable issue where I would have stayed a loyal customer had I been provided acknowledgment and an apology. The staff obviously needed customer service training but I’m a very understanding individual. Instead, I was met with silence from management and owner. If anyone knows how to get a hold of corporate, this would be greatly appreciated.

I have been going to paint along with my girls for many years now, just for special occasions. I recently started to go more frequently because it helps my feet feel a bit better with my neuropathy when they are well cared for. Orlando is such a gem and he always takes good care of me. The warm wax feels so nice. I love there is NEVER a toxic smell in the air, so I don't feel like I am in a chemical bomb like other salons. It's always clean. They have fun things to purchase and from the owner to the entire staff in all areas it's always a great experience! Thanks Orlando and all.

I’ve been going to Paint Downtown for almost 2 years now and look forward to my appointments so much. The team is super friendly and always very knowledgeable about the products. I recently got married and had my wedding mani and pedi done here and both came out amazing. The team helped me coordinate several appointments for that visit. I usually see Sarah and Chelsea, but all the ladies are lovely! Overall, best salon, don’t waste your time going anywhere else.

My best friends, mom, sister, and I just had manicures and pedicures done as a bridal party this last Sunday. Although the ladies were super nice and attentive, my manicure had to be fixed, and by another technician. I’m getting married Wednesday and my hands look awful. The polish was fixed but the cuticle looks worse than how I walked in there. Two of my girls’ nails were done wrong but couldn’t get fixed because they had to get back to Tampa. My mom’s nails got messed up while being there and she didn’t bother letting them know. My sisters toes got messed up an hour after she was there and they told her it would be dry 6mins after. It’s sad we all paid a lot of money and the techs aren’t experienced. Our feet are soft at the heel but not the top part. I now have to go elsewhere to get them fixed because I get married Wednesday.

Stopped in today for a quick pedicure and met my new bff Orlando. I’m visiting from out of town so my visit was random but very necessary! They squeezed me in last minute and I had a relaxing and fun time getting a fabulous toe refresh and a lovely chat!

Told the tech this was for a wedding and this did not make her any more careful. I ask for her opinion on the colors and she seemed annoyed, the whole thing felt rushed and I felt uncared for. All I cared about were my nails being even, and I had to ask her for that 3 times (pointing out uneven nails) and I still left in tears with a jank gel pedicure for the wedding. I had to get it redone 2 days later. It was very much an anxiety inducing experience.
