Paloma Salon is such a gem! As soon as you walk in, you feel transported to a chic, bohemian paradise. I frequent Paloma specifically for the one and only Val Porcara, who always gives me a lived-in look with perfectly tousled waves, face-framing highlights, and bright golden accents - ideal for my style. Val always takes the time to understand the aesthetic I am going for and recommends cuts and colors that complement my facial structure while remaining low-maintenance for my busy schedule. She's an artist in terms of coloring techniques and knows exactly how to seamlessly blend shades for a soft, sun-kissed effect. The highlights Val has weaved in over the years stay looking natural so my hair never has obvious roots or grows out awkwardly. She's able to touch up growth and brighten my ends during each visit. Val really understands my desired boho-chic style. I always leave with a flattering look that makes me feel put together and confident. You get that personalized touch and strong attention to detail with her. The salon itself is a gorgeous urban oasis with modern, boutique-style decor and lush plants - more like a trendy cafe than a standard hair salon. The beverage options while you wait and during your service, like wine, soda or water, add to the relaxing vibe. They also offer so many products to help tame your mane and your stylist can suggest some great products to help complete your look. TLDR: I wouldn't trust my hair to any other stylist than Val at Paloma!

Immediately felt so comfortable in this great little salon! The mid-century vibe is perfect for the space, I want my living room to look like this. Berge figured out exactly the right cut for my thick hair (that others have struggled with) and the products are amazing. Looking forward to a lot more visits in the future.

I've been coming to Berge for over a year and have never been happier with my hair! The whole experience is a lovely retreat and I always get compliments on my hair now. Definitely recommend making Paloma your home salon!

I’ve been seeing Bergee for many years. After going to so many stylists in Sd who turned out to be disappointments, I’m really lucky to have found her and therefore won’t let anyone else touch my hair. She’s a true artisan. Very meticulous and really listens to what you want. She works with your natural texture and her haircuts grow out so beautifully. She’s an amazing person and has great taste. Paloma Salon is a beautiful modern mid century salon. I love being there. She also uses great quality products. Highly recommend. ;)

Super cool salon with very clean and modern vibes. I’ve been going to a barber for years (and never been happy), and decided to try Paloma because it looked cool. Turns out the haircut was EXACTLY what I wanted...and they had beer too. This is my new spot, for sure.
