Love the energy in this place! Everyone is so positive and welcoming. I got my haircut from Mae and she did an exceptional job. She took the time to make sure it was all evenly trimmed and I am very happy with my results. My hair has life again! Will definitely be coming back for all of my hair needs!

Ivey always gives my head fur a timeless style. Im so glad I let her do whatever she wants. Thanks to her skill, people think I am way cooler than I really am. I'm so cute now my wife just smiles and nods while I tell her facts about World War II Submarines. You should be so lucky.

Went to Mae Jones to get a men's cut not only did I get exactly what I wanted but the experience was absolutely worth the drive and the environment was full of the most incredible energy and the salon itself feels like home away from home the staff is incredible and the service is 1000% better than anywhere I've been in the past 100/10 recommend this to anyone needing a hair miracle or a new hair magician to solve their bad hair problems

Mae at Pangea is the best! She’s been doing my hair for years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my color! She always does a really thorough consult to make sure we’re on the same page, and keeps my hair healthy and shiny! The salon itself has a really positive vibe as well, and the shampoo bowls are SO comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Mae is the only person I trust to do my hair, I have followed her around and I’m so happy she has returned to Pangea. I went in for some highlights and they are perfect and I’m so happy I took the jump to get them done. Mae always makes sure she is up to date with curly cuts and she always delivers. I will continue to come see Mae for all my hair maintenance even if I have to drive an hour to see her.

Rebekah cut my hair and she did a fantastic job. I have curly hair that has changed after having a baby. Rebekah cut it dry first and then washed it. The way she cut it really helped the curls to bounce back. It looks so much better now. Rebekah was thoughtful and listened to what I wanted. She didn't push any products on me and was very kind. Highly recommend!

my stylist was dani and she was amazing, i asked for layers and bangs and my hair turned out better than i expected and my confidence has significantly boosted. it’s a friendly environment and they know what they’re doing, always asking about your well being and having small talk which is nice. I will definitely come back here in the future

I followed Mae Jones from her previous salon to Pangaea Salon because she’s the best! I hadn’t had a dry curly cut before seeing Mae, but she does a great job every time. I have very thick, curly hair that is a lot to deal with and can be difficult to style. Whether I want just a trim or a big change, I know that my curls are in good hands with Mae. I just recently visited Pangaea for the first time and it’s a really wonderful, welcoming space. It’s a bit of a drive for me coming from the south metro area, but totally worth it!

My hair was a hot mess when I saw Rebekah. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a great curly cut. I've had some terrible cuts due to having curly hair and I am so relieved and happy with my cut. She is definitely my new stylist. Thanks Rebekah!!

My stylist was Rebekah, she definitely doesn’t know how to cut curly hair; Rebekah cut my hair by pulling one ringlet at the time without measuring for evenness on Dry, Uncombed, Unwashed hair; just as I came in. I had a gut feeling that it would not come out good; but I figured that different stylist did things differently and I was going to be impressed when she finished. I read the reviews online that the salon does a good job with curly hair; but didn’t know which stylist was good for curly cut. I saw other women in the salon with very similar hair texture as mine go to other stylists; and I knew right in there that I had picked the wrong stylist. The first three photos you can see my hair is very uneven with a hole in my right side, the 4th photo after I applied mousse very uneven bangs, the 5th photo is what my hair looks like through out; the 6th photo after I styled my hair the left side is longer than the right side; the 7th and 8th photos is what my hair looked before Rebekah cut my hair; last photo is what I asked her to do with my hair and I showed her that photo. I will return to the salon because I felt very at home at the salon; and every body was very nice; but I will not book with Rebekah again, she may be good at other things, but not for natural curly hair or haircuts. Reply to Rebekah: I did speak up when you first started cutting my hair; I asked you if you were going to wash or comb my hair to check for length; and you replied “this is the way I cut curly hair, I just see where the curls fall”. About Cut Cutters, I did mention that I went to Cut Cutters for a hair cut; but that was two months ago and my hair was getting too long at the bangs. I told you that Cut Cutters did a good job with my hair; but now I wanted a hair cut like the picture I showed you, because my hair was looking a little boxing; photo 7 was taken 4 days prior of getting a hair cut from you. When I left the salon; I did like the hair style; but was not happy that it was not the hair cut or the style I asked for. I changed my rating from 3 to 1 star because every time I am around my friends; they asked me who chopped off you hair like that, she must not had like you; and every time I wash my hair; it is very difficult to style my hair with so much uneven hair. I didn’t return to Cut Cutters because I wanted the salon experience, and the community that salons offer, and Cut Cutter doesn’t have that. I left this review, so other people can read about my experience with you; it may help other people pick hair stylist accordantly to their need. I didn’t call the salon to get it fix, because I will not let you near my hair for a haircut; once you cut off the hair, there is not way to put it back.

I am seriously overdue in writing this 5* review. 2 years ago, I called Pangaea in a panic (I was literally calling every curly salon in Denver). A different "curly expert" across town had tried to cut bangs on me and the result was just a disaster. Carol got me in that very same day, fixed somebody else's f'ed up cut for about half the price, and l got to walk out looking good. Since then, there is nobody else that I trust with my curls. I just tried my first deep conditioning treatment with her, and those results were fantastic, as well. Reasonable prices, real people, and a relaxed atmosphere where I can be myself. I also want to mention that I keep my hair natural salt and pepper, and this is the only salon I've ever been to where not once have I felt pressured to start coloring it.

Love this salon! I highly recommend Carol if you’re thinking of going gray. I had stopped coloring my hair and Carol gave me a fabulous color consult ending with a solid plan for moving forward. She started me with some lowlights to blend things a little which was great. At my next appointment for just a haircut I was feeling discouraged, and Carol talked through some more ideas while thoroughly validating my experience and giving me confidence to continue. Seriously, this was better than psychotherapy. I just had another haircut today and I’m almost there! Great salon and especially recommended if going gray is part of your path.

I loved my experience with Rebekah super friendly and gentle with my hair! The environment was very chill and I love the results of my curly hair cut :) i learned a lot from the tips she gave me and I would definitely come back here and recommend others to book here
