My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of a couples massage with Joy and Kenyetta this past Sunday, and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, they created an atmosphere of pure relaxation and comfort. Both Joy and Kenyetta were incredibly skilled, attentive, and intuitive to our needs. They tailored each massage perfectly, leaving us feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and completely stress-free. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to unwind together. Thank you, Joy and Kenyetta, for such a superb session. We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My wax person did an amazing job and that's the only reason they are getting 2 stars. Joy the massage therapist came in and asked me what to focus on, I said arms and legs. She never touched my legs. It was supposed to be a hot stone massage. There was NOTHING relaxing about it. The entire table rocked back and forth and it felt like she was purposely being rough to see if I would say stop. I've never in my life had a massage where my entire body is rocking back and forth on the table. When she used the hot stones it was like she was roughly scrubbing my feet not a rub but literally SCRUB. Even though I really liked the person and outcome of my Brazilian I would NEVER go back to this place.

I had my first appointment today with Katherine and she was amazing (especially considering I was her last appointment for the day). Super nice, considerate, and overall great at her job. You can tell she cares about the work she’s putting in. She took her time and it didn’t feel rushed. I definitely recommend! 9/14/2024 I only come here for massages now and got a prenatal for the first time today. Joy did an amazing job. She used just the right amount of pressure and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable and that the room wasn’t too hot or cold.

Always clean, quiet, and staff is unfailingly helpful and friendly. Chris is a master at his craft. Included cupping for the first time and it was ahhhhmazing! He definitely knows his stuff and keeps this old battered body movin! Thank you!!!!!

When I arrived I was already a little uncomfortable as it was very warm in the front area. The waiting room which is about a 8x5 area was also very hot the fan was off so I turned it on it did help a little bit. I filled out some paperwork which took about 5 minutes and I waited a couple minutes and they said the masseuse was ready she came out and got me she asked me some questions what was bothering me this and that explained everything to her she said okay get undressed and I'll be back. I got undressed but left my boxers on because it was very hot in the room I was literally sweating. When she came back in she said oh no you have to be under the sheet I explained that I was hot and asked if they could turn the fan on the ceiling on she said they could not because the fan does not work. I asked if they could unplug the bed heater she said yes and she did. She's about 5 ft 115 lb I am 6'5 315 lb and I asked for a deep tissue massage. Nothing was deep about it, I barely even felt the effects of her small hands. Literally felt like my 5-year-old was rubbing me. This was my first time going and will be my last time as my original place that I used to go to for years the masseuse has moved out of the area so I've been on the hunt looking for somebody that is great. This place didn't do it for me.

My appointment was with Jackie (not sure what her preferred spelling is) and I can honestly say it was the best massage I've had! I didn't have to bother with intake taking up the first 5 mins of the appointment. With doing that ahead of time we just went right in. Jackie found areas I didn't know were bad until she worked on them. It was night and day on how my shoulders and upper back felt afterward. Jackie made sure to ask me how her pressure was and if everything was still going okay at various points of the massage. I paid for extra 15mins for a scalp massage and it was heaven. With my work schedule, getting massages is sporadic for me, but this small, woman, minority-owned business is it! No more chain businesses or locations. Moving forward, when I'm getting a message, it'll be here and hopefully with Jackie.

Great place for a couples massage. Our masseuse switched up the massage in mid session to adjust to my wife’s needs. They are very professional and caring. We had a great experience and will be back!

Best massage ever! My husband and I went and got a couples massage for the first time ever and we were more than pleased with it. They did a wonderful job and were very professional the whole time. It was quite the experience for us and we left feeling so good and refreshed. We will absolutely be going back to them in the future. It’s a very clean and beautifully decorated facility.

My boyfriend and I went for an hour couples massage and it was both our first time getting a professional massage. Teena and Chris did great ! We were comfortable and relaxed and they did a good job at hitting the spots we needed. Beds were comfy I could've napped there. If we lived in the area we would go back to them all the time !!

My fiance and I got a couples massage here and it was so pleasant! I got a prenatal massage and he got a Swedish + hot stones. Our therapists were Chris and Teena I believe! They were extremely welcoming and kind. Chris was thorough in making sure I was comfortable. I mentioned neck tension and he focused on that without being too overbearing! Pressure was spot on. My fiance also said he felt super refreshed afterwards. Thank you!

I was visiting the VA Beach area for my birthday and booked them for a facial and massage. My experience at Paradise Found Massage and Day Spa was wonderful! Chris did a great job on my facial and Swedish massage. This is not an upscale spa, if that is what you are going after. The spa is at the end of a shopping center; it is small, clean, quiet, and relaxing. The prices are reasonable for the services provided. This is a SWAM business; I even purchased a hoodie to support them. I hope to come back soon.

Got stationed here in 2022, found this spot right around the corner from my house. It’s not your fancy massage spa- but the masseuses are top tier! I’ve had experiences with Ebony, Jacqueline, Chris, and Kat, and never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and everyone caters to your massage needs. Tried them once and never went looking elsewhere!

Had a couples massage here. Front desk was polite. Our technicians were prompt and warm. The service was great, very relaxing and allowed me to unwind. Rooms were large enough to give everyone space but small enough to still feel intimate. Overall space of business was alittle small but did not hinder there services. I recommend and look forward to returning!!

i have gotten 2 massages here, one session with joy and one with kat. both were absolutely amazing experiences- both women made sure to ask about specific problem areas, checked to make sure the pressure they were using was okay, and were very thorough with their work. i have left both times feeling infinitely lighter. front desk staff are also always friendly and helpful!! will definitely be coming back regularly.

I had a great Swedish massage and Reiki session at Paradise Found! Katherine was skilled in cultivating a relaxing tone for the massage, including a gentle guided meditation that was just right—not too wordy or overbearing. The essential oils she used were relaxing and not distracting, and she even helped me gently stretch an injury. She moved with deft hands throughout the process, applying confidence and skill from start to finish. The front desk associates were also welcoming and lovely. I cannot wait to book my next massage at Paradise Found!

I had a massage with Katherine (Kat) today and it was amazing. She has the warmest energy and is a very intuitive therapist. The whole experience felt somewhat healing, as if she knew what I was going through and knew exactly where to focus. I had the most wonderful prenatal massage with Katherine at Paradise Found! She truly took her time and focused on the areas I needed attention to, which made me feel incredibly relaxed and refreshed. As a mom-to-be in the third trimester, I had been through some physically tough weeks, and this massage was a game-changer. I couldn't be more grateful for the experience. My husband surprised me with this, and I absolutely loved every minute. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here for years since my first discovery of this wonderful sanctuary. I'd tried a couple of bougie places prior to this one but always left unsatisfied, feeling no different as my knots were still there! I really appreciate that the deep tissue massage here is actually deep tissue, which hurts like a mofo - as it should if you're super knotted (like me lol), but afterwards you'll leave feeling super light and rejuvenated. The place is clean, the masseuses are professional, and the price is very fair. Please tip the masseuses well! They're open for business alright. Just call the number to make an appointment - super easy! The lady will emphasize that it's 171 Canal St., on the 2nd floor, and that they don't have a sign anymore.
