I have been coming here for a few years now and will not go anywhere else. Carey is a hairgician! The way he dose color is amazing!!!! I will never go anywhere else. If you want an amazing hair cut you can't go wrong coming here!!

I recently visited Park East Salon and had the pleasure of working with Carey—and wow, what an experience! This was my first time getting my hair professionally done in two years, and during that time, I had box-dyed my hair every color under the sun: brown, black, blue, and red. Needless to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Carey was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, the salon had a laid-back and welcoming vibe. Carey took the time to understand what I wanted and gave me great advice based on the current state of my hair. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, and it’s clear he really knows what he’s doing. I felt completely at ease trusting him with my hair. The pricing is very fair—competitive even—and the quality of service you’re getting makes it even more worth it. Carey was easy to talk to, making the whole process enjoyable, and the results were better than I could have hoped for. I’m a silent person and he wasn’t pushy about it at all. I left the salon feeling like a brand-new person, and I’ll absolutely be going back to see Carey again. Casey did an awesome job. My cut can be a little interesting for first timers, but he killed it. I am very picky when it comes to someone cutting my hair as I have had the same hair stylists for over 15 years. Moving to Jacksonville the past 4 years, I have had only one person that I trusted. I took a chance on Casey as his reviews were good. He got me in that day, showed him the picture of the cut I wanted. He took his time, listened to me and gave me the best cut I have had in a while here. I will definitely be going back to him for maintenance cuts and color. I asked for the Cherry Cola color and he understood the assignment.

Carey is the fix it guy! My highlights were all over the place after having visited several salons that just could not get it right. He set my highlights straight and toned them perfectly. He has great positive energy and the salon has a hometown feel that is comforting. Will definitely be back!

Carey did an AMAZING job on my perm! He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful, talked me through all of the techniques he used step by step. Initially, the front of my hair didn’t hold a curl but as soon as I texted and expressed concern he immediately booked me a free follow up appointment to re-curl the front pieces. I’m so happy with the end result as well as price. I came in with long hair and paid $225 for perm+ haircut, which is a great price for this area. I absolutely recommend carey for his perm services as well as curly hair layering skills!!

Carey is awesome!! I've been getting my hair bleached for years, and he is the first where I had NO brassiness in the following weeks. I was very pleased with my cut and color. Carey was very polite and professional and I'll be going here from now on.

I scheduled a birthday cut. When I got there I was told it was for "existing customers only" I informed him that THAT was false advertising as his promotion said nothing about "existing customer". .. only that if you come in during your birthday month it would be a free wash, cut and any hairstyle chosen. I tipped $20 for his time He curled her hair after the cut so it wasn't until we got home and the next day when she washed it that we saw her hair was hacked into a mess. One side is an inch and a half longer than the other. It's possibly the ABSOLUTE WORST layered haircut I have ever witnessed. I DO NOT ADVISE THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

Carey did an amazing job on my hair. I came in with a crazy mix of purple, brown and blonde hair. I was notified Friday afternoon of work photos being taken Monday. I was lucky to find something so last moment. I have been going to the same stylist for years but she wasn't available. So in I came with a mild to moderate panic attack ( visiting a new stylist does it everytime). Carey and his staff were so patient and I am happy to say my hair looked fantastic. I've already booked my follow-up appointment. Thanks Carey!

East Park Salon WOW! I called today as a new client and was desperate to get in somewhere for a cut and highlight. Not only did Carey fit me in he was amazing! Never going back! I've been here three times and the first 2 times was just okay experiences but this last time was god awful. The lady butchered my hair! I've had bad haircuts in the past but this has to be the worst. I'm actually crying because it looks so bad.

Wanted to give a positive review about this place but unfortunately, I was very disappointed in their service. The hairdresser who did my hair was a nice gentleman but seemed like he was in a hurry and he was so rough with my hair the whole time (from shampooing to removing the rods) and he ended up wetting my shirt. The perm they gave me was not what I expected and looked like it messed up my hair color and curl pattern I initially had. He did ask me and make sure if I liked the look which was nice of him but I didn’t have time to stay there longer so I left as soon as I paid. I’m still new to the area and I gave this salon a try because I saw a lot of positive reviews on here but I guess it wasn’t for my hair texture. Now I have to find someone else to fix this hair.

Carey knows what he’s doing and delivers top quality work all while keeping you comfortable and smiling. I came in for a haircut, changing my long layered hair to a short bob cut. I read the reviews on him which prompted me to book with him. He was kind, asked questions and went to work, cutting more than 6 inches off and did wonderful. He will be my go to stylist from now forward.

I just went to see carey first time yesterday. All I can say is this man is great !! He is very attentive, takes his time. There’s an art about cutting my hair that was super impressive. He even used the term “million dollar bangs” , which I loved. He was just as excited as I was about the results after having to correct the color used and stay super late to make sure I was leaving there a super happy customer. The salon is super clean, great vibe and it helps that he’s a Top Fun fan! absolutely love my final product.

The worst salon experience I've ever had. I originally came in for a haircut and eyebrow wax, but opted to skip the haircut after my face was butchered. The gentleman who helped me over waxed my eyebrows, some of my skin is missing and my eyes are super irritated. I assume the wax was too warm, hence some of my skin is ripped off. I now how super uneven eyebrows with one eyebrow significantly longer than the other. The pictures included is how I looked when I exited building. The man who waxed my face was definitely apologetic and was determined to make it right, but the damage was already done and can't be reversed. Please, stay away from this place if you would like anything waxed, especially your eyebrows.
