I’ve been coming to Kat for over 6 years now and she’s the absolute best!! I’ve always loved my hair and there’s no one in the world I trust more with it: She makes the salon such a comfortable space for you to come in and walk out feeling your best. I can’t say enough good things. She did my hair for my wedding, and if she wouldn’t have been available that day, I literally would have moved the date.

Kat has been doing my hair now for about 8 years. I am always very satisfied with my cut and highlighting, but her level of service goes way beyond that. For one, Kat has saved my hair life multiple times. Past instances include, but are not limited to, ever so gently guiding me away from a bangs revisit (she knew I wouldn’t have last lasted 2 days for the maintenance required,) and suggesting a more neutral, less red highlight when I was contemplating an outwardly trashier version of myself. I trust her so much that in the last couple of years when she asks me what I’d like to do, I just tell her to do her thing. I know that she knows best what length and style of cut work best for me, and her coloring/highlighting is hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had at least a dozen people over the years ask me for a referral, too. On top of being an excellent stylist, she’s just the loveliest person; you’ll get that vibe from her the moment you meet her. I’m a curious person and ask a lot of questions, so I have also learned a lot from her. I now have a novice-level understanding of the science behind coloring, and after her super-helpful tutorial, I am curling my hair safely, quickly, and looking almost as good as when she does it for me. Speaking of that, neither my crazy schedule as a full-time working mom of two nor my budget allow for me to come in every 4 weeks for root touch ups as would be ideal. Not only has she never made me feel awkward about taking my coloring ($8 L’Oréal box) into my own hands when needed, she told me what a great match it was and gave me tips for my at home application! When I’m feeling chatty, she’s an effortless conversational partner. On other occasions when I bring in my laptop and just have to get some work done, she happily accommodates me. She has a clean, comfortable, private, and very stylish space. She always offers something to drink, has excellent background music taste, and a shampooing chair that is so comfortable I have fallen asleep in it more than once. I can’t say enough good things about her. I feel lucky to have found her (thanks, Ana T!) and can’t imagine my hair without her.

Kat is not only an amazing colorist and hair stylist but she is an amazing person as well. Going to her salon is better than therapy! She listens to what you want and gives you ideas and learns what you do and don't like. She won't stop until you leave completely joyous with your color and style! I can't recommend her salon enough!

We have been fortunate enough to call Kat our hairstylist for 15+ years. She is the best in the business with her knowledge, professionalism, and level of expertise. Each person who sits in her chair is made to feel welcomed and like family. You can have confidence knowing you will love your latest haircut and style. It’s a great privilege to know Kat and call her both the best hairstylist there is and a great friend.
