I was in happy tears by the end of my color session here. After a horrible experience at another place left me with a brassy balayage, I came here hoping for a miracle. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and so attentive. Patrick took the time to listen to what I wanted, carefully examined the mess I came in with, and walked me through exactly how he was going to fix it. He was patient, professional, and reassured me that was an easy fix. In the end I finally got the balayage of my dreams! This place has earned my loyalty. If you’re looking for incredible service, amazing results, and a team that truly listens, this is the place to go!

I love this salon and the expertise of the stylists! Clara does my keratin smoothing treatment & Bijanka does my cuts, both of them are so kind, easy to talk to, and really care about the integrity of my hair! Love their product selection in salon and stylist’s knowledge of the products as well.

I’ve been searching for a stylist for years, and I’m so glad I found Bijanka at Patrick Evan Salon. She completely transformed my hair, and I’ve never felt better about it. I get so many compliments thanks to her! Bijanka is incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented. She takes the time to understand exactly what I want, gives honest advice that works for my hair type, and is meticulous in how she approaches hair. On top of that, Bijanka is just a pleasure to be around! She is so sweet, and always make the whole experience comfortable and fun. She is so generous in sharing all of her tips and tricks to maintain amazing and healthy hair in between visits. Today I had the best balayage I have ever had and I feel almost emotional about it ! My stylist was Caity and she’s THE BEST ! She took the time to understand what I wanted and then did some magic - the result actually ended up being better than what I was thinking about. Really grateful for her kindness, great care and amazing skills.

Patrick is truly the best! This salon is a gem, and Patrick’s warm personality makes every visit exceptional. He did my few keratin treatments, and I can confidently say he’s the best in the city for it. Patrick really takes the time to understand what you want and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. He’s genuine, attentive, and has a great team. Katie also did an amazing job with my hair color—I couldn’t be happier! As someone who’s usually very picky, I felt assured I was in the right hands. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality and care in SF!

If you are looking for a technical stylist who has a profound understanding of geometry (angles and shapes), then you should book with Tess. I was looking for a men's stylist in the Bay Area for over 2 years, and it was very challenging to find someone who understood the shape of my face and head. Tess is incredibly precise. You can tell by the way she approaches a haircut that she was trained by the best. She is consistently great.

Average haircut results/ for a premium price.The stylist had the best intentions but the skills were not where they needed to be for my hair and the price. When you drop $350 everything should be perfect, I could have paid $70.00 for the same results. Here is the rub and my thoughts, when booking haircuts at any high end salon SF the high prices don't reflect skills or years of experience of the stylist the price represents the high cost of living in SF/Bay Area and the rent of the building. No skilled/trades individuals who we need can afford to live here. The one individual who I would give 5 stars to is the woman who washed my hair. She went above and beyond. Last, it was odd, I have to read the website again but along with the haircut price they add a $10.00 Shop Fee and also tax. Never had a shop fee added before.

As a first time customer, I couldn't be more happy with the short haircut by Tess and get compliments all the time. She absolutely knows her stuff and understands ways to work with hair that misbehaves. My bangs, specifically, are perfect! In the 30+ years of getting short cuts, hardly anyone gets it right.

Best hair salon period. Not just the bay area, not just California, the best objectively. I have been coming to patrick evan salon for 5+ years, and the quality of service is unmatched. Particularly for the thermal reconditioning treatment I get, it is highly specialized treatment and Patrick is a master of his craft. I live in another state and I continue to return to SF for him to do my hair. Also equally important, the standard of care is so high. I wasn't completely satisfied with my results and Patrick personally corrected it and was so kind and patient with me to ensure my hair was completely perfect. There are few things I fly back to California for, but getting my hair done at Patrick Evan Salon is one. I made an appointment to change my hair color from burgundy to dark brown with highlights. I drove from Napa County to SF to get this done as I've had great experience before. The Stylist did a strand test and said to see if she was able to do it. She said she will call me at the end of the day. I never heard from her.

Went here for blonde color after being recommended by a friend. The first person I saw didn’t do a great job, I didn’t leave the salon any blonder than when I arrived. However, I gave it another shot and requested a new stylist. I had a color consultation with Tania to go over what I was looking for, and she did an amazing job! She was super efficient and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I was really impressed with her work and highly recommend her. If you’re looking to get a new coloring with a new stylist, I also highly recommend the color consultation.

Have been going to PE since before the pandemic. I have been getting cuts and coloring from Adriana Santana and Cass. Never disappointed after coming to this salon, while the services are expensive, it is well worth the money.

The salon is big and beautiful, I’ve been going for about 2 years now. It’s important to be specific in the skill level of the hairdresser you wish to work with, but that seems standard across the industry. I work with Darin and being that he is a fellow curly-head I am in great hands. I always enjoy chatting with him during our appointments and as I am not great with the details, I love the personal touches he adds to my style. My curls feel safe with Darin! My only complaint wouldn’t be regarding my stylist, but the salon in general has such warm lighting that it’s difficult to see the true color of your hair until you leave the building. That isn’t my favorite feature if I’m being honest.
