I had an amazing experience! Giselle did my balayage, and she was absolutely fantastic—so kind, attentive, and truly skilled. I wanted something subtle that wouldn’t damage my hair, and she delivered perfectly! Even three days later, my hair still feels soft and healthy with little to no damage. The salon itself is super clean with a great atmosphere, and their customer service is top-notch. They even called me after my appointment to check in and let me know they’re available if I have any concerns. I really appreciate that level of care! Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a stylist who listens and delivers amazing results.

After recently moving to the Charlotte area, I was having trouble finding a stylist who could do the red hair I wanted. Each time, the red color was never quite right. I found Jenny at Paul Beaune NY Salon. Looking through the pictures I brought, Jenny took the time to consult with me the red shades and the process of how she would achieve the color I wanted. She knew exactly the type of red I was explaining. I now feel like myself...thank you Jenny!!

Brittany is so talented …she holds the “magic wand” I have been searching for in a hair stylist. I have a ton of hair and it is long, thick, wavy/frizzy and overwhelming on me. But in her meticulous and skilled hands, my hair becomes smooth and styled to perfection…and it lasts for over a week! She is a wizard with color and cut as well! Brittany is so personable and professional too, as are all the wonderful stylists at Paul Beaune NY Salon!

I have been going to Paul Beaune Salon for over ten years. They are always professional, clean, and knowledgeable regarding my hair needs. I have been to many salons over the years and this is by far the best experience I have had. It is consistently top notch. They keep up with current trends and styles and are always willing to give suggestions and listen to my hair goals. I recommend this salon to anyone who wants their hair to look the best it can look.

I’ve been going to Paul Beaune NY Salon for my hair cuts since 2021. I loved going here because they never failed to always give quality service and the energy of this place was so comforting. I felt as though I could truly relax here. After my last appointment, I am no longer going to trust this hair salon and will start looking for other salons to go to. Cinthya showed a lack of professionalism. She was very passive aggressive and rude all throughout the appointment. From the comments she was making, it could have been due to the fact that I scheduled a 6:30pm appointment, she was visibly upset with how late it was even though this place closes at 8pm and my appointment was not too near to closing. I chose to ignore the comments. She also continued to scoff as a customer walked through the door, sometime after I had walked in, for an appointment with another hairstylist who was also there. I told Cinthya exactly how I wanted my hair, which was to even out my hair because I no longer wanted the layers I had. She constantly questioned me and asked if I was sure that was what I wanted. After I gave her my reassurance multiple times, she gave my layers a trim instead of cutting them off so I could only have the shortest layer (which had set just alittle bit above my shoulders just under my jaw. Nothing drastic.). I told her that the haircut she gave me was not what I had asked for and I reminded her that I wanted to get rid of my layers. Not to have them touched up. She continued to question me again and told me that she would have to cut my hair really short to get rid of the layers and tried to justify herself by saying that even if I got rid of my layers, with my split ends it would make it still look like I had layers. I reassured her again, I was not worried about how short my hair would turn out to be and that we could just cut off my split ends as well, which she did not do. Cinthya blow dried my hair for the majority appointment on a high setting even after I had asked her politely if she could turn down the temperature because I was getting burned. She didn’t even put heat protection in my hair. With the constant heat from the blow dryer on the metal brush she was using to style my hair with, she burned my ears at least 10 times or more and given how long she stayed styling those specific spots where my ears were after my hair was completely dried and styled I can’t help but feel she did that purposely. The first burn? It happens I guess. Seconded? Sure. But 10 times? Once she burned my ear for the last time, I was too uncomfortable to have her around my head and my hair any longer. We both walked over to the counter so I could pay. As she was setting up the payment, the other hairstylist walked over and complimented my hair. I said thank you to the other hairstylist and Cinthya agreed with her. As I glanced back at Cinthya she rolled her eyes while giving the meanest look one can give. Cinthya’s hostility turned an experience that is supposed to be safe, relaxing, and welcoming into the complete opposite.

People are nice, but the bleach job done a few years ago turned orange. I also wish the blue and purple were more vibrant as I had asked for. Mandy stopped communication with me since then.

AWESOME!!! I travel extensively and have been to salons throughout the US and abroad and I have to say that AnnMarie (owner) is one of the best. She took the time to look into the cut I wanted which needed a specialized technique. She hit the mark where others could not. If you are ready to make a change or just need a perfect cut, she is the one to see.

Ann Marie works magic! I moved from NYC with very high expectations of hair coloring and cut. I tried two Charlotte salons before I found Ann Marie. She is the real deal! She really listens to what you want and has the talent to deliver on it. I walk out with perfect hair every time!

Very happy. Brittany C. really heard my needs and I was thrilled with the gentle handling she gave my hair throughout the haircut. She gave me exactly what I was looking for in a cut and her styling was excellent. I'm glad to find my new salon in Charlotte.
