I had my first experience at Pause today and it was AMAZING! Sharae was my therapist and she did an incredible job! She made me feel comfortable and had a warm & healing presence. Will definitely be going back!

The staff was incredibly kind. My husband booked the massage for us because I have foot issues. I was given a paper in the beginning asking what areas I would like massaged. I circled my back and my feet. The massage therapist asked me if there was anything that I wanted her to focus on before we began and I also said my feet. She massaged my whole body (disregarding the paper) and the whole massage I was anticipating her rubbing my feet until she told me the massage was concluded and never massaged my feet. It was extremely uncomfortable afterwards because of course we said thank you and tipped. But I was extremely confused and very disappointed to spend $300 and not get what I paid for. Edit: They called and rectified the situation by apologizing and adding a free service to our account. Thank you for making things right.

I had the highest quality massage here with Martina. She was warm, sensitive to my needs, and very caring. I highly recommend her and this massage place. Worth every penny.

Whoa. Let's just say....if you are having some kind of neck or back pain, go get a massage from Stan. He's like 6'6" and will solve your problem with ease :) It was one of the best massages I've ever received, truly!

Had a wonderful experience at Pause today! I’ve only gotten a massage a few times in my life, and this was my first time going to Pause. I chose to go here because it’s very close to me and already had great reviews, and it did not disappoint! The front desk staff was very welcoming and communicative - confirming exactly what I booked and asked about any allergies. Easy check-out too! Natalia was my massage therapist and did a wonderful job. She asked if I had any areas I wanted her to focus on - which was great because my neck and shoulders needed it!She was very kind and checked-in with me throughout the session. Definitely recommend!

Booked just a few days ahead for a last minute trip to the city. Very accommodating with the scheduling on a Saturday afternoon and Marie was PHENOMENAL! Best massage I’ve had in years. Don’t forget to add the scalp massage treatment!

Had the best experience here. Most relaxing massage! I had Launa as my therapist and she was amazing and listened to all the areas I had concerns on and adjusted pressure for my more tender areas. I will definitely be back here! Also the price point isn’t crazy for a 50min service in the area! Definitely try them out:)

Pause was very accommodating trying to find an available spa even if it was their own, they were attempting to help me find service. Tashon, my therapist, was very good at providing massage service for what I considered to be a somewhat emergency massage. She was caring, knowledgeable, and talented. When I am in Chicago again I will definitely schedule with her.

Go here if you want a great deep massage. Jacqui S. gave the best deep massage I have had in a long time. I recommend her for anyone that really needs a deep tissue massage.

Hey all, my family and I came for a visit from CA and me and my mom wanted to get a massage after all the hotel beds and travel. We decided to come to Pause Chicago and couldn’t be more happy! My massage therapist Sharae, made sure I was comfortable and was enjoying the service. She also changed the pressure when I asked her to and was inviting and nice. The environment was SUPER relaxing…I did not want my experience to end. I’d recommend a longer session because I was there for 50 minutes but wished I was there longer. Overall, I had a great time and it was a relaxing activity during our vacation.

Made an appointment with another massage center for a prenatal + couples massage. That center accepted my request, then at the last minute carelessly told me it could not be accommodated which left me scrambling for a quality place that could provide what I was looking for. Pause massage went above and beyond to take care of us - making me realize this was the place I should have called in the first place. Outstanding experience, A+ customer service from Jessica & Aniya and awesome massages from Launa & Stan. This place knows how do do business and looks out for the client. Don’t think about it, book them! Thank you Pause!

I called in today to reschedule my appointment because I had a emergency, told the receptionist i had no intention of canceling and that I was at a salon nearby who gave me a different hair color -than what i wanted.. she went on to tell me there will be a 30$ charge for same day cancelation, she could tell I was in distress so she went on to say sorry but its 30$ and ill be charged automatically..she asked to reschedule and i told her my hair is literally purple i cant tell u right off the bat..so she booked me for next sunday without confirming. While I understand policy is policy but not having any regard for my situation and that to a first time client was super foul to me so 1 star for their customer service!

Came in for a couple massage and had a great experience. We were welcomed in from the front desk with a glass of wine before our massage. The whole place had a relaxing/tranquil vibe. We were in a very spacious private room. I had Natalia who was amazing!!! Just the right amount of pressure, I could feel the knots loosening up. Probably the most relaxing massage I have had. We did 90 minutes and could've gone 90 more!

I had the best experience today at Pause. The place was cozy and feels like a little hideaway in the middle of the city. Jessie at the front desk was lovely and a warm person to see coming in from the cold! She offered me spiced apple cider tea that was delicious while I waited. I had a Relax massage with Ta'Shon and it was amazing! I highly recommend her. I left feeling fresh and rejuvenated! I will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely loved our experience at Pause! My hubby and I decided to treat ourselves for our anniversary, and boy, that was the best decision ever! The whole body massage was hands down the best we've had in years. We also tried for the first time the Kobido-Buccal face massage - which was a great experience, done with the utmost precision, sooo relaxing. The therapists were extremely experienced and knowledgeable about each tiny spot that might feel tense in your body. We walked out feeling like new people, totally relaxed and satisfied. Worth every penny! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch massage experience!

Booked my husband's massage about 2 weeks in advance. Provided all the information, including credit card details and when we arrived for our scheduled couples massage they said we were not in the system. Very unorganized place. I even had a confirmation email and they wouldn't take me. Ridiculous!
