I have been with Peak Wellness for approximately 6 months. They have an amazing staff who are so caring and professional. They are so full of knowledge with not only losing weight but, but overall health and skincare. I am so impressed by the decor, it’s very serene and elegant! I feel better the moment I walk in! I just wanted to say I have been a client for a few years now and I love all the improvements that have been made! Paige and her husband have beautifully transformed this space. I had a great visit today with Amy per usual. She’s truly an angel and so easy to talk to. PEAK Wellness & Aesthetics treats you like family and actually cares about your health. Peak has literally changed my life. I decided to take control of my life and health and their program gave me the support and encouragement I needed to succeed. I couldn’t have done it without them (I tried and failed so many times!). If you want/need to take control of your health then Peak is definitely the best place. Their injectors and aesthetics are amazing too!

The new owners are awful, where do I start… I was discharged due to false accusations of not paying fees, which I have no balance on my account, I spoke with Mr. Proctor and was told that I was being discharged for a bill that wasn’t paid and when I called there wasn’t a balance. Dr. Rachel owned the business I was late a few times due to traffic from the tunnel, I would travel 45-50 minutes to come to this location because Dr. Rachel was very professional and fair, when the new owners took over I was discriminated against and I’m still very upset with the situation, it honestly makes no sense and the way I was treated was very unfair and I will gladly take my business elsewhere, the only thing I can come up with is discrimination, nothing makes sense to me, I’m sure there will be others with the same issues, customer service says a lot about a business and for them to be so unprofessional and rude is not a good look, God sees all and this behavior won’t keep business so I really hope things change there, I will go where I’m accepted and appreciated. I hope Dr. Rachel is thriving she was a good fair owner and she done a lot for me and my health. Once the Proctors took over they really made poor decisions and not very customer friendly. I was loyal and I traveled to come there but was treated like trash. Please take your business elsewhere, all people aren’t welcome at this place since the new changes, once again, God sees all. I know what’s going on here, shame on the new owners. Kay the office manager was very friendly and I know she’s only trying to keep her job, sad reality that in 2024 we are still being discriminated against, it’s not making any sense to me.

My consultation was a very informative. Paige and Amy educated me on things from nutrition, my current meds, my labs, weight loss medications, exercise, and how the body works through different stages and processes. They performed vitals, measurements, weight, height, a few labs, and an EKG. Also found out I was diabetic that my pcp didn’t catch 2 months back. Peggy and the ladies that work the desk and take your vitals are always pleasant and upbeat. I really enjoy coming to my appointments. My husband was impressed and booked an appointment with them as well.

PEAK Wellness provides an amazing experience! I have been going there for a few months and look forward to each visit. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and honestly it started with my first call to schedule an appt. Kristen at the front desk is hilarious and so helpful. Nursing staff is warm and always ask how I am doing. Last visit I saw Amy Gilligan and today I had the pleasure of seeing Paige Proctor. These providers take their time, listen, provide accountability, and genuinely show compassion and support for my health goals. I am beyond grateful and highly recommend their services. You will not be disappointed...you will feel like part of their family.

Update 10-17-24: I am now 68 years old and weigh 169 lbs. (101 pound loss in one year!). I have continued the diet prescribed by Dr. Chastenet and continued to work out 5 days/ week. I credit her and her staff with a great deal of my success. It has truly been life changing. June 2024 review: I am 67 years old. I started seeing Dr. Chastenet (Dr. Rachel as her patients know her) in October 2023. Then I was 270 lbs. Now in June 2024, I am 225 lbs. I owe a great deal of that success to Dr. Rachel. Yes, she got me on a low carb diet and counting calories, which I expected. What I didn’t expect is for her to essentially take my entire health management into her hands. She ordered bloodwork so that she fully understood my body’s chemistry. She very thoroughly went through all my medications and made sure she understood (and I understood) why I was taking them. Although she does not advertise herself as a primary care doctor, she has given me the best primary care I’ve ever had. She didn’t just put me on a low carb diet, she very thoroughly explained what carbs do inside the body and what damage they can do over time. I now know more about the effect of various foods than I ever have; this has made it easier for me to make good decisions about what I put in my body. Dr. Rachel’s staff is first rate. The medical technicians measure all my vitals (and measure my waist) at every appointment and keep careful track of my trends. I feel like they really care about me and my progress and cheer me on at every improvement. They make me feel very well cared for and have encouraged me every step of the way. There are other factors besides a low carb diet that contribute to my success. Thanks to Dr. Rachel’s caring encouragement and motivating approach, I quit drinking alcohol and have started an excellent workout program 3 days/week at a local studio in Chesapeake that specializes in helping people over 40 (prestonstrength.com). Without Dr. Rachel, I know none of this would have happened. I am so grateful to her for motivating me and encouraging me and putting me on this path to a much healthier and happier life. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
