Amanda was wonderful, I felt very comfortable and she did a great job explaining what was going on as well as providing education throughout the treatment. I went to Pearl for the first time yesterday on a whim... I am so glad that I did! I received an eye brow wax, and my brows look amazing. The atmosphere is so relaxing, and I loved it immediately! Amanda was professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. Can't wait to go back when I have more time for more services!!

Amanda has given me incredible facials in the past, but right now I'm here to gush about the manicure I got from her. She *transformed* my damaged and peeling natural nails, got my cuticles under control, an IBX treatment, recommended a dip powder nail for protection and to match my lifestyle, and a gorgeous mermaid-blue and gold shimmer polish on top. The POLISH -- just regular nail polish -- is almost perfect after a week. The acrylic is in perfect condition. I. cannot. even. I am *brutal* on my hands. Washing my hands 15+/day at work, gardening (without gloves! I know!), manually filing my dog's nails down, cooking like a maniac, etc. I've only ever had polish last 2.5 days, tops.

First off, the decor and feel of her studio is immaculate and stunning! Amanda goes above and beyond expectations! Never have I felt so pampered and cared for in my LIFE. She not only gives AMAZING pedicures and nail services but the waxing and facial experience is a 10/10. Highly recommend, DON'T MISS OUT! P.S. There's also the cutest puppers named Tank that hangs around, whats not to like about that ^_^

Pearl is a cute and convenient place tucked away in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood of Pittsburgh's Northside. Great atmosphere. Amanda is so nice. She asks what your grooming routine and preferences are, offers suggestions, and explains how and what she going to do, and even goes into maintenance recommendations (how long you should go between waxings and why).

I just had my first facial with Amanda and it was life altering. I'll forever think of things as BF (before facial) and AF (after facial). I've never had someone spend so much time and effort getting to know me and my skin (diet, habits, products, history, etc.). The facial felt amazing and Amanda gave wonderful advice and product recommendations (and samples!) for my home care. Amanda is friendly and funny, which made our time together even more enjoyable. I can't wait to send my friends and family here! Update: I could barely drag myself from the mirror to write this, I was so busy admiring my skin! I've used sooo many products and seen sooo many professionals (dermatologists!) over the past 20+ years. It's not an exaggeration to say that Amanda. Changed. My. Life.

Amanda is amazing!!! Hands down the best facial I’ve ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable about all things skin and she takes her time. My skin has completely transformed since my first facial at Pearl. I would recommend her services to anyone. The studio is very comfortable and clean and has a great atmosphere! 6/5 stars in my opinion!

I had my first Gel Manicure and Amanda's self-confessed "OCD" really paid off. Almost a week later they still look great and I am very hard on my hands! She did not cut my cuticles either so everything looks neat and lovely. My pedicure was also fantastic. She completely refreshed my feet with her painstaking 4-part exfoliation. The natural, gentle products Amanda utilizes, her care and attention to detail and truly beautiful ambiance of the space itself make Pearl one of the finest, most unique Spas in town.

I have been a client of Amanda for a couple years now.... and she is always wonderful, kind, extremely detail oriented, she always does a great job which is far above any other aesthetician I have ever been with. Her manicures, pedicures and waxes are always actually perfect. I travelled for 2 months in Europe this summer, when I returned home my feet, face and hands were all in shocking disrepair. She spent a solid 2 hours on my feet alone. Every time she works on me (and that time especially!) I leave with the sense of "being human" again. I always look my best when she's been working on me. She is reason alone to go to her place, but the space itself is lovely, with it's silver and black velvet flocked wallpaper, with oxygen facials and gel manicures, you are the only one in there and it's an extremely luxurious experience. Her prices are on par with similar services all over town, but her actual services are above everyone else.

Amanda is amazing at what she does! I have issues with adult acne and Amanda did not stop working on my skin and helping me try new things until my issues were resolved! I often get waxes and Amanda is the best in the business. She makes sure everything is absolutely perfect before sending you out the door. I highly recommend Pearl Aesthetic Perfecting Studio!

Amanda provided remarkable professional treatment that worked, and also guidance on how to maintain healthy skin and nails. This was my first visit to Pearl Aesthetic Perfecting Studio and I am sure I will be back! I made an appointment for an Intraceuticals facial after reading about its popularity with Hollywood celebrities. The whole experience at Pearl was great. I found parking right out front. The waiting room was hip Victorian gothic similar to places I have been in San Francisco and Brooklyn. Amanda greeted me and immediately made me feel at home. The spa room was immaculate down to the sparkling chandelier. I was very comfortable during the whole treatment. Amanda did a great job of explaining the treatment process to me as well as recommending products that would work to keep my skin looking great. The level of quality at Pearl is unparalleled and I can whole-heartedly attest to the effectiveness of the Intraceuticals facial. After leaving Pearl I traveled for 3 weeks on planes around the US and my skin stood up to test, remaining vibrant and clear!
