Been going to pearl beauty salon for over 10 years. Lynn cuts my hair exactly the same each time.

My wife just returned from the salon very upset! She specifically told her what not to do (no shearing, cutting the front short, etc). The lady would not cut my wife’s hair unless she took her glasses off. In doing so, my wife could not see what she was doing. Needless to say, she did exactly what my wife did not want. The front is now in multiple lengths and sheared. My wife has spent years getting the length in front even to the back since her hair is thin and fragile. I tried to get the phone number of the business owner and was told she did not have the number. Then after pressing she said she was the owner, yeah right! My wife is now heading to another salon to try and fix the damage the lady has done. (Yes I know the hair will take a long time to grow back). I would not recommend this place, the one person who was there for years left and the new hairstylists are not well trained!

First of all I've read a few reviews about receiving a haircut from Lien Tran.. she always does a good job. Good value and great service. Don't expect Lien to be all lovely with you. She is a nice lady and will give you small talk if you want it.

Great haircut for great price. I stumbled upon this barber shop in San Jose visiting my aunt nearby. The staff was very friendly and experienced. Thank you for the great haircut. Will be back.

I am very concerned about this business. Each time I have gone there Linh has been maskless. When I asked her to put a mask on to protect me, she refused. This is a violation of the County Covid rules as of 11-13-21.

Tried to get a haircut here twice, always packed inside with a bunch of people. The Asian lady Lynn by the front door is extremely rude. She has a bad attitude and has a bad look on her facial expression. No idea where these good reviews are coming from

My mom went in to get her hair done and it took two Asian ladies four hours to do her hair. It's as if they were practicing on her head. They janked and pulled her hair so much that it made her head hurt and burn real bad. Then a third lady showed up to "help" them but it only made things worse. They washed her hair and gave her a whole shower in the process. After four hours of enduring painful mistreatment and bad service, she left and told them she will NEVER go back there again. Worse experience of her life. We do NOT recommend this place.
