I was hesitant to post a review due to the fact I have been coming to this nail salon on/off for several years and I also really like all of the ladies (and gentlemen) that work at this establishment, they know me by name which is why I’m posting anonymously. The last time I had my toes done here, 2-3 weeks later when I removed the polish myself at home, my nails were chalky with white lines and white dots. I did my research and realized I had onychomycosis, a white toe fungus, that I must’ve picked up from the nail salon. It’s been 3 weeks that I’ve been treating my toenails now, and the infection is still not entirely gone. I’m extremely upset because doing my nails is a huge element of my life overall especially during the summer, on top of the money I spend for quality when I could do them myself at home for free, that and I always tip graciously. Now I’m having to hide my toes when I’m out in public. Beware.

I am not impressed by the treatment and services provided. I came into this establishment with the request of a ‘polish change’. I politely declined a pedicure and was made to feel small. The women did not have a welcoming nor friendly attitude. In addition, I believe I was evidently overcharged. For a basic polish change with no soak or extras, they charged me $30. Basic pedicure services according to their menu is $32 so the price is not justified. I will not be returning.

Amazing spa experience. The massages to end your nail treatment is well worth the visit. I keep coming back. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING.

First time bad experience. I did gel on Saturday and it came off on Monday I came back to fix it the lady was very disrespectful... will never go back there.

I move recently to Frederick and the closest nail salon to my address is this one and I wanted to give it a chance, I was very disappointed, I ask for a little cuticle trim and this girl cut too deep that make me bleed and a very poor knowledge of a simple French paint, will never go back again and I don’t recommend it at all if you are spoiled with your nails, very rude people can’t believe they make me pay for this mess

Lindsey is RUDE, unprofessional; lacking basic customer service skills in a service industry. Go figure. Yesterday was my first time dealing with her. Today, I got back in my car, using my gas and time to have her fix a few nails. First of all, getting your nails done should be an enjoyable wellness and pampered experience - at least to me. It's a luxury. Not a necessity so the experience considering the cost should reflect that. That means if your customer is dissatisfied because some of her nails aren't shape nicely (but lumpy) AND others have bumps (something in the polish that you can see and feel), don't give your “paying” customer that tipped you an attitude. Don’t just say you don't see anything wrong with them - without making a real effort to try. Your goal should be to provide quality service. Your goal should be to service your customer well so that they enjoy their experience, love - yes love (not just like) their nails, want to keep coming back, tell others about it and recommend Pearl Nails. That's how you run a business and GROW it. Even though my nails looked better - nice actually after she fixed them and Lynn has been very nice the few times I've gone there, overall this place isn't worth any more of my time, energy (like writing this review) or money. Not giving my hard earned money to no one undeserving of it. Not settling for mediocrity or incompetency. Nope, not doing it.

Lynn is nice. But The female owner or Manager whatever her title is . She is super rude and very unprofessional. She definitely needs to go back to school to Lear how to conduct business. Definitely lacking

The employees there are kind and I enjoyed being there. I asked for a French tip with acrylics, they suggested a gel dip. I was getting my nails done for my wedding in Mexico. And my nails looked great! The tips were even and well-shaped. I left happy. I got it on Sunday… and it started popping off by Tuesday. I was so so disappointed because my wedding was that Saturday and I was in Mexico already. By Thursday, most of my nails were gone. I had to do a last-ditch effort and went to a random nail salon to get them fixed before my wedding. Those nails lasted longer than the nails I got from here. :( I wanted to like this place so much, but my nails didn’t even last a week.

Very bad product, bad cervice,a week ago I went there to do my nails I always use Dip powder, the products they used broken in a week, it has not shine my nails looks horrible, I do not recommend it, bad experience.

Was looking for a new nail salon to get a pedicure done by my new house and was happy to discover this place. Lynn did my pedicure and did the best spa pedicure I've ever had. Safe to say she'll be my go-to person going forward as long as I live in Frederick. Can't recommend her enough. And she's very personable!

Went in for a gel pedicure. Polish/nail work was nice. Everything else was lacking. They don't have an autoclave for their equipment and I left having dead skin still on my feet despite getting the highest pedicure possible.

Staff are friendly and their pedicures are so relaxing. Love the massage chairs and the calf massage that comes with the spa pedicure. I don't go too often, but this is my go-to place!

They did a very nice job for my wedding nails. You have to be careful when you are there..they will keep offering services without discussing with prices, which will add up, although that doesn't seem unusual for nail salons. Know what you want before you go in.
