Austin is the heart and soul of the salon. He lights up the room while he does his magic— whether it’s cutting, coloring, extensions or treatments, he’s truly a master of his craft. Over the past six years, he’s transformed my hair into being more beautiful than I ever imagined. The compliments that I receive are endless and it’s all thanks to him. He gave me confidence and that’s priceless. Austin is more than a stylist; he’s a friend and genuinely good soul.

I would give and rate Pelo Beauty Collective 10 + stars if I could! This location at the Galt House 17th floor is Beyond " Tremendous! I thought I was a Hollywood star getting off the elevator!! Seriously! Then after getting my hair done on my Birthday for a Gala that evening I left feeling like a Hollywood star!! If you havent gone to visit them and get a service I highly recommend you do!! After you do and EXPERIENCE the salon and your treatments by all I guarantee it will be your salon of choice going forward for all your beauty and self comfort.... They will make you feel Beyond words and Beautiful !

I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Moving from out of town to Louisville, it took 10 months and after 3 bad to mediocre experiences with other salons, I found Kaitlyn and Pelo beauty collective. The environment is welcoming and unique but even more so, the customer service goes above and beyond. Kaitlyn is a true professional & wildly talented. Providing the best consultative advice ensuring that both the quality and results of my hair exceed expectations.

Pelo is amazing! Kaitlyn has created the most relaxing, cool and inviting atmosphere. All of the personal touches and intentional designs have come together to make it the most unique salon I’ve ever been to! I can’t forget to mention how incredible Kaitlyn is behind the chair. She has nailed my highlights, color changes and haircuts perfectly! I always leave beyond impressed with her work!!

Booked with Alex for a glow facial and mini lip filler and had the best experience with both! She’s very knowledgeable and makes you feel very informed about what service you are getting. My skin was stunning after my facial and my lips had much for volume after the filler!

I used the same salon for over 10+ years and after covid, I made a switch. One of the best moves I have ever made, Mecha is a hair guru goddess. Absolutely love her! Love the salon, great people and fantastic talent. Love this "self care" team that makes you feel like a million bucks when you leave.

Mecha has been cutting my son’s hair since he was 18 months old. She is SO patient with toddlers and gives him the best detailed cuts. He is going on 6 years old now. I will only take him to her! She’s incredible.

My amazingly wonderful hairdresser, Mecha❤️, works out of Pelo Beauty Collective, which I LOVE! All the hairdressers there are so friendly and fun to watch work their magic on clients’ hair. The best part is that they offer other services too, like aesthetics, etc. It’s a great one stop shop!

One of the cutest salons in Louisville with the best employees!!! It is sooo hard to find consistency and someone who can make your hair exactly what you want every time!!! Mecha is the absolute best. .. it took me YEARS of searching, but I finally found THE BEST!!!!! I am blonde with hand tied extensions, so it's pretty high maintenance-- but she can handle it :) You can never leave Louisville or I may have to move too!! ;)

Pelo is a community and a one stop shop for all of your beauty needs: aesthetic injections, lashes, airbrush tanning and IV hydration, in addition to all of the hair styling and makeup service other salons offer: balayage, fashion colors, handtied extensions, color, cut and styling. From the moment you walk in the door, you know you’re going to have a great experience and leave looking your best with their chic, edgy decor and friendly, fun atmosphere. I love my stylist Mecha Clark! Mecha has been my stylist for many years, long before she joined the Pelo team. I have had many different hair colors and cuts throughout the years and Mecha never fails to give me exactly what I am looking for. Currently I have handtied extensions and balayage color and receive many compliments on my hair. Mecha is an excellent stylist that is not only extremely skilled in her trade but she is equally as caring, personable and awesome to hang with! She makes the time you are in the salon fly by because we have fun while she’s doing my hair. I 100% recommend Mecha and the rest of the Pelo team for all of your beauty needs! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
