Love this salon! Referred by my daughter who has seen Dalton for years and couldn't be happier. My color is always perfect, they recommend products that keep my hair healthy and beautiful. The staff is wonderful and always top-notch service! Highly recommend!

Bryant did an amazing job when I visited the salon for a blowout! I'd never had one before and I left with my hair feeling SO good! He works quickly and efficiently but is very attentive to detail. They squeezed me in on a busy day before the holidays which I can't appreciate enough.

I have to start by saying that Dalton is an incredibly talented balayage hair colorist. Moving to Kansas City from NYC, I was worried about the daunting task of finding a skilled colorist. Dalton not only did an exceptional job with the placement of my highlights, but he also gave me beautiful hair color choosing a toner that perfectly complemented my skin tone. He is a true artist, and his work is absolutely worth the fee. I’m so grateful to have found him and look forward to all my future color appointments with him. Thank you, Dalton!

Ethan does such great job with coloring and get's the perfect blend. I came in for a balayage highlight and instantly fell in love with how it turned out! I also love how comfortable and inviting the salon is - I'm so happy with process and my new hair!

Dalton has been doing my color for years and does THE BEST color (especially blondes) and the most precise and perfect cuts. Pelo on Penn is a beautiful salon and it is a joy.to visit. I highly recommend Dalton.

Love love love this place! Scheduled a haircut and light balayage with Barbara and she absolutely killed it! I have really thick hair so it's been hard to find a good fit, but Pelo is amazing and has great service. The whole staff and owner are so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend Pelo and Barbara for anyone looking for a new hair styling home. :)

I flew to Kansas City just to see Dalton at Pelo on Penn for my coloring needs, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! With my dark (Asian) hair, I was aiming to go lighter and try blonde—a challenge Dalton handled perfectly. He worked his magic and gave me exactly what I wanted. The salon itself is chic and stylish, creating a great atmosphere to relax in. Kalyn, the salon manager and co-owner, is so welcoming and makes the entire experience even better. If you're looking for exceptional results and a top-notch salon experience, Dalton is the one to see. Yup! I will definitely be flying back to Kansas City!

A friend recommended Pelo on Penn when I recently moved to Kansas City. I had my first appointment at Pelo on Penn with Bryan. The place is definitely not like your average hair salon, where you’re all sitting in a row and your appointment is on a tight timeline. The salon is classy, bright and welcoming. Bryan did an incredible job on this first appointment. And it’s not more expensive than the other salons I’ve been to. I highly recommend.

Got a haircut Barbara. This was my first time at the salon and seeing Barbra. My haircut was done to perfection! She listened to what I wanted and delivered above my expectations. Pelo on Penn was the best salon experience I have ever had! I chose to spend my birthday morning getting some much needed self care and it was amazing! Barbara did a fantastic job and took her time, which I appreciated. She made me feel so special! The stylists and owners, Dalton and Kalyn, are all super friendly and have done such a great job with this salon. It truly is such a great atmosphere to be in and I couldn’t recommend it more. Also, have a glass of champagne while you’re there - you won’t regret it! :) I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Color me completely obsessed with this chic, sophisticated, new salon. When it comes to aesthetics, I'm a big proponent of how salons are designed—and this one is thoroughly warm and inviting from the minute you walk up the steps. Dalton QW may very well be one of the best colourists in the Midwest. He took me from drab to fab in 90 minutes. Impressive. The salon feels very mod/big city and it's conveniently positioned right in the heart of Westport. I can't say enough good things about the space and the staff. Go check it out! Props to everyone involved.

Ethan is amazing. I’ve been going to him for a couple of years - first of all, a super cool guy. But he is also very talented and - without exception - I have always left liking how he cut and styled my hair. The space is beautiful, too. Very stylish and inviting. It’s a relaxing experience.

Dalton has such an extraordinary GIFT to create such Beautiful Style with his Color expertise.
