I will definitely be going back to Patrick at Perch! I got a haircut at another salon a few months ago that broke my heart. I went to Perch today to see if anything could be done to fix it. Patrick really took time to listen to what I wanted verses what I got and offered suggestions about how he could improve it. He was patient, attentive, and the cut he gave me is a MILLION times better than what I had before. Patrick's skill as a stylist coupled with his calm and positive attitude just made the anxiety I felt from my prior experience melt away. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Soooo so happy every time I come here (thanks Rory!). I came in with a few pictures of what I wanted, and me and Rory are able to talk it over and see what’s best for me given my hair type and how much maintenance I put into my hair on a day to day basis. Everything is talked through before we do anything and I am always so happy with the result + tips on how to maintain/achieve certain goals with my hair. Price is usually $80-90 before tip, which is definitely worth it to me :-)

Not worth $100 dollars a cut. Mediocre cuts! Assistant barely washes your hair it’s like she sprinkles your hair with water and adds a bit shampoo. Nothing special for the price.

Marisa is a hair genius!!! I recently had my hair done by her and I'm so glad I came here because my hair was a complete mess after a previous person completely messed up my hair and a 2nd one gave me a super messed up haircut. My hair was in desperate need of a color job and haircut. What I really liked and appreciated in Marisa is the fact that she truly cares about her clients hair. She's super professional but realistic. She won't try to sell you a service just because. She was honest. I originally wanted a full color but after examining my hair she was very honest and did explain that the desire hair color was not possible in one go at the time, because I had too much root since I had months of not coloring my hair. She gave me an alternative solution with my desire hair goal for later. I really appreciated this because I feel that so many hair stylist say yes to what you want but it isn't possible and the results are horrible and people end up unhappy. The previous hair person said yes to what I wanted and therefore I now know he was going to mess up my hair. I truly appreciate a hair stylist that will be completely honest with you and work with you for the best result. We need more stylist like this. Oh, and she was the only stylist that has been honest with me about the health of my hair. Anyways, I trusted her and her process and she did an incredible job!! She literally transformed my hair! My hair came out so beautiful! Literally everyone at work has complimented my hair! she was so detailed and took her time to both color my hair and to cut my hair. Her assistant was very good and attentive as well. They both made me feel so comfortable and I literally felt as if I was talking with 2 friends while getting my hair done. And the salon is so beautiful and clean. Truly impressed with the dedication, attentiveness, expertise, professionalism of Marisa. I highly recommend her! I'm so glad I found her!!! Thank you for giving me a hair I'm truly happy and comfortable with!

Ursula did the best job! My hair is naturally a light brown but she suggested this gorgeous copper. I was unsure at first but absolutely love the cut and color. So summery ☺️

I recently came in to see Marisa for haircut & highlights, this was right before the new lock down. The salon was immaculate, everyone wore mask, the stations are 6ft apart and it was nice to have a relaxing & safe visit, especially during these high stress times. I highly recommend this salon and Marisa. 10/10 experience!

The Salon is beautiful and airy with lots of plants and cool punk rock and Bowie memorabilia everywhere. All the women in the salon are extremely professional and knowledgeable stylists who listen and provide great service. I have been to Marisa a few times and have always left with an excellent color or cut. The services are reasonably priced, and I will only buy shampoo from here Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is like a castle in Eagle Rock I love the downtown industrial look with the touch of classy art & enjoyable music. One of the best parts for me is it's very close to the freeway exit and entrance. I'm a guy, so when I treat myself good I come here. It's hard to find a good hair stylist in L.A. so when I found mine I stuck with her.

I love you Esther! She fixed my hair after I got a HORRIBLE haircut at JC Penny's salon. I *had* a asymmetrical bob before I visited JC Penny's. I went to Esther to fix it. She did a wonderful job getting it to look good again while I grow my hair back to the style it was. Thank you, I'll definitely be going back to Perch.
