Horrible !!! I asked for a purple color, I got red. I asked for a blow dry Toni didn’t know how to use an iron!! And I paid for it and had no apologies. That’s a pure scam.

I am loving my haircut by Sandy. My hair has never felt so light! A good friend of mine has been seeing Sandy for years and highly recommended her. I called on a Friday afternoon at 3:30pm to make an appointment. Tony picked up the phone and asked if I wanted to come by same day. I told him I could do 4:30, which he locked in. Street parking is easy to find, and the spots right out front are for an hour from 9am to 6pm. Luckily, my wash and cut took exactly an hour! A staff member washed my hair, then Sandy asked what I was looking for. I told her that my hair was heavy, and that I wanted invisible layers that would lighten the weight but keep the length. She started styling my hair, meticulously checking for symmetry. She mentioned that my hair was indeed heavy and tangled easily. She asked if I wanted bangs and how I wore my part, then recommended that I try chin-length wisps for framing. Once she was done shaping, she blow dried my hair before moving on to layering. An hour later, she showed me the finished product: a light, airy, low maintenance cut. My wash and cut cost $65 before tip. I asked if I could pay with card because I hadn’t brought enough cash. She said yes, then mentioned that women’s cuts typically cost $60 but may be more expensive if they’re trickier. I paid for the cut with card and tipped in cash. Overall, I’m very pleased with my haircut and look forward to future haircuts with Sandy!

Had the misfortune to pop in to ask the dude here if he takes walk-ins, and in my brief encounter with him, he was beyond a rude, dismissive, miserable PoS. If you go to any other hair stylist besides him, you will be happier for it, and doing yourself a solid. He is absolutely a blight on an otherwise pleasant set of neighborhood businesses.

1) They charged me $55 with 5 mins of trimming, that is, without even washing my hair! 2) the way Tony pulled my hair physically hurt so much that I cried. He claimed that it was because my hair needs toning and I didn’t accept to have that add on service lol. It was a NIGHTMARE! Avoid at all cost!

Best place for haircuts. Tony is unlike any other hair stylist I've been to. Like a chef who tastes while cooking, he is constantly feeling your hair, making sure the texture is right. He also has good recommendations for hair style and upkeep.

I have gotten a couple of hair cuts and hair dyeing appointments with Sandy, and she is fantastic! She did an amazing job coloring my hair, and she has very reasonable prices and is very friendly and personable :) I highly recommend her and will continue to go to her for my hair care needs

I took my child for a two colors hair coloring. We agreed on a price. They did only one color that was a bleaching a bang, the rest should have been colored black and charged us the full price. So, just the short bang was over $150. A rip-off and a spoiled experience for a teenager, who wanted their hair to look cool for a graduation. Shame!

Sandy cut my hair today and she was very attentive, detailed oriented, and kind! She listens to what her customers want, and was very meticulous about the cut. Will return! 25$ for a mens cut, and left a 5$ tip

I went online and found perfect cut because of their great reviews and wonderful pictures. So I called and had the greatest hair cut in my life. Stylist Sandy was very professional as well as friendly with me , as we cracked a few jokes. Her price was reasonable at $25 for a really detailed cut. I would definitely go to get hair cuts there again. Thanks sandy

Terrible haircut—he gave me some weird sort of long bangs that I didn’t ask for and they look horrible. He was super rough with my hair the whole time, pulling it and yanking my head all over the place even though I repeatedly asked him to be gentle. He practically burned my head several times while washing my hair despite my cries of pain. And he spent the whole time complaining that my hair was too thick. Be forewarned.

When I lost my hair stylists of over 15 years due to retirement, I tried so many places and they couldn't get it right. Other family members recommended this place and I finally found one that was outstanding. Tony is my guy, but they all do great work! Happy for over 5 years now!

Ah, let me start by saying that I’ve lived in SF for years and I have gotten my haircut everywhere. Expensive, corporate, hole in the wall. I’ve had some good cuts and some real intense haircuts, like my last one 8 months ago where my stylist decided to give me an impromptu mullet when I asked for layers. What a time. I was genuinely so relieved after coming here, not only because it’s affordable, but they knew exactly what I wanted. He explained what he felt would be best and triple checked with me on the length, style, how I wear it every day. He was very kind, took his time and didn’t strike the fear of god into my heart when he took some dead weight off. Cut is beautiful and chic, will absolutely come again. It’s right next to devils teeth bakery so it’s not hard to find.
