I would not suggest coming here for a perm. I never even write reviews but this place just frustrated me to the point in which I had to say something. I came in to get tight curls but I left with straighter hair than I came in with as shown by the picture. This is my second time coming to this place thinking that maybe the first time I made a mistake, but the hair just does not even curl. I think its because they shampoo your hair three times in total, even after the perm, which just messes it up. The haircut itself was not bad, but the perm was just terrible and I ultimately damaged my hair for no reason.

I've had my hair cut here before and previously it was a pleasant experience at a decent price. To be clear - this time around the shampooist did a great job of thoroughly washing and cleaning my hair/scalp. The stylist, however, haphazardly cut my hair, flipping it in my face multiple times, and even after I clearly indicated I just wanted to trim the ends of my long hair and bangs, pushed for a "thinner cut". He was holding my bangs at the time so I thought he wanted to cut it shorter and I agreed, then he started heavily layering my long hair until I told him to stop. It was clear he was pushing for the kind of haircut he preferred, and I left with a lot less hair/volume than I wanted. Cut to me in my bathroom taking scissors to my hair trying to even out the very wispy ends, it will take years to grow it all back. Bottom line - make sure you're leaving your hair with a stylist who considers what you want for your own hair, rather than pushing for their own vision.

Good and honest business, they charged me less because I didn’t want blow dry which they didn’t have to do. Also did a great job with my hair wash which was really relaxing

I’ve been going here since I found this spot in college about 12 yrs ago! You can’t beat the quality and price! It’s a simple salon, nothing fancy but I always leave loving my hair. They do a great wash and blow my hair out to perfection before I leave. Prepare to spend a little time looking for parking before your apt and pretty sure they’re cash only still. I moved and still drive 30mins to come here and it’s worth it!! I’ve been requesting Oscar he does a great job! Francis is always friendly and runs a smooth running salon.

The stylist did a great job on my perm. I have very straight and fine hair and now it has a nice loose curl. I never had a perm before and this one was very nicely done and affordably priced. I'd recommend this salon to people looking for perms that are good quality. The owner was also polite and accomodating when my phone died and I went back in to try to charge it. Thank you to all staff.

I explained to the stylist what I wanted 3 times in both English and mandarin and even showed him a picture as an example but he still didn’t get it. It turns out he only speaks Cantonese. In the end he did my haircut in the way he liked, which is terrible and totally different from my expectation. You at least want to work with a stylist you can communicate with. I’ll never go back again.

Exact and efficient! I was in and out in 21 minutes flat. All I needed was a straight across trim. $30 cash. Can't be beat! There was a regular in for color, and it was clear she was a true, recognized regular. Definitely making this my place to come in the future too!

Got a digital perm here a couple of weeks back. I asked for big waves but instead got insanely frizzy curls- some sections don’t even have a consistent curl pattern (i.e. the spiral will change direction halfway down). I waited to leave a review because I wanted to give my hair some time to settle, but I’ve tried so many products and techniques and I have not been able to tame the frizz, I think because the stylist tousled up my hair during the blow dry process after washing out the perm solution and sent me out without detangling it. Not super happy with the results even weeks later.

Love this hair salon, Francis is the owner & is very accommodating, she knows her stuff. Oscar is great too! The prices are very reasonable & include a shampoo, styling & blow dry. Sundays are very busy & there is off street parking the next block. Highly recommend this place. They are really good with copying a haircut fo a photo.

Nick is an amazing hair stylist. He has always done a fantastic job. Follows my haircut instructions perfectly. Besides this, I get a shampoo, hair cut, followed by another shampoo. All for $18. Perfect Hair Cut is simply fantastic!

Nick is great with dying hair! I redid my highlights and even if it was a very tedious process he was very patient with it! Love the way he styles hair, would definitely recommend!

The barber cut off way more than I asked for and it took him one minute to cut my hair because of how rushed he was. Also kept picking up phone calls in the middle of my cut… He had no technique all he did was snip off 3 inches and called it a day. He had two appointments scheduled for the same time so it was super rushed.

The barber rushed us out of the store and had two appointments at the same time as mine. Always picked up phone calls in the middle of my session. Haircut ended up being mediocre and uneven in addition to being shorter than I wanted. He seemed to be not willing to do my haircut and all around had zero technique or experience when cutting men’s hair!
