Hair on the floor wasn't swept up between clients, the salon- especially the hair washing sinks were dirty, heat protection wasn't used on my hair when hot tools were used. I had to ask for heat protecter and finishing spray to be use for my blow out. They also only used a curling iron for my blow out which didn't last an hour after leaving the salon- no attempt was made to give me an actual blow out

Best hair salon in Jacksonville! They are like family to us I always come here to get my hair cut and color done by Kim and Loan. They are just phenomenal!

I had a great experience at this hair salon recently. I have really thick and long hair that is usually very difficult to cut. I hardly ever go to get my hair cut due to fear of it being cut too short. I had my hair cut from Thai and he did a wonderful job. He listened to all my requests and left me with beautiful hair. I will be returning and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

Kim did my hair. I requested for a style. Showed her a picture. When she can’t get it done she just used flat iron and thinning scissors all over my hair. The haircut was a mess. Now my hair got really dry because of that and difficult to manage.

Don’t come here! I went only because a friend recommended the shop. I went here 6 months ago and I didn’t want to leave a bad review since it’s a small business but after the stylists that work here ruined my sister’s hair I decided to say something. My hair used to be past my butt and I ask for her to give me layers but preserve the length and the store owner chopped more than 7 inches off. She was cutting my hair quickly because she had another client and rushed me. She knew she screwed up because I no longer saw her and she handed me off to another stylist who felt bad for me and was much nicer. I asked for bangs and they kept trying to talk me out of it and wanted to style it how they wanted. When I complained about the length that the owner had cut they said my long hair made me look older and it’s not suited for me. I washed my hair prior to going and she insisted I get it washed and I thought it was included but I wasn’t upset about the hidden fees but she pulled the hell out of my hair and now I have small frizzes at the top of my hair. When that happened I was concerned, she left me waiting and I knew she was going to brush my hair aggressively when she returned so I started brushing it myself while she was attending to other clients. This was the worst experience ever, the people in the shop even noticed what happened they were chatting amongst themselves and looking awkwardly at me. I still tipped the nice stylist $20 because she tried to make me feel better and to get the “trim” and bangs was about $50, so I lost $70 with a hair cut that I hated and now that my hair is growing out it has become harder to style. If you had treated my sister nicely and not chopped her hair off when she asked for a trim this review would be on your page. Stop doing what you want with people’s hair, a woman’s hair is a big part of who she is. You don’t get to decide what someone needs, you need to listen to your clients. Shame on you!

I literally stopped 2 different women in the course of 1-2yrs (only because of my work schedule) to find out where they got the beautiful highlights & they BOTH said to come here. They said to ask for Kim and I was so amazed how she nailed the look I wanted! She's also sweet & chill which is a nice vibe to be in. I absolutely love my hair and can't wait for her to work on it again!😇

As a new customer, I picked Kim to cut my hair based on reviews. She cuts hair well, but she could be more careful and considerate while washing hair. I had to close my eyes to shield them from the water from her hand held hose. Thank God I wasn't wearing makeup! When I brought it to her attention she blamed the water pressure. I thought the water pressure was normal as this wasn't my first time getting a haircut at a salon so I definitely know it wasn't that, but more of her technique. Then while she was shampooing my hair she was patting beyond my hairline like close to the corners of my eyes. Despite an unpleasant experience while she was washing my hair, I was pleased with my new hair do, but I noticed that I had lots of hair clippings inside my jacket, bra, and on my clothing when I got home. I paid $45 for a wash, cut, and style. Kim didn't charge me extra for curling my hair because I was a new customer and said that she charges $35 for cut only for my shoulder length hair. In my opinion, this is not a luxury salon with high end prices. You pay for the cut not the experience although I believe the end result should be positive and pleasant regardless of how much you pay. Overall, I'd rate my first time a 5/10 given there is room to improve the customer experience. Photos include before and after.

I had the best experience at the salon, loan the hair stylist was fast and really know what she is doing,. Her hands was very light on my hair, I 1000% recommend this place also prices are good with the service youre getting🥰

I have been coming here every time I want my hair professionally done for years and I’ve always loved the results. The only inconvenience is that they’re always busy due to their customer’s loyalty. They listen to what you want but also input their professional opinion considering their client’s personal hair type.

I love this place! Staff is really friendly and accommodating. I’ve been going here for years and I’ve never been disappointed. Today I took my cousin here to get his hair colored and he loved the results at the end. They also do nails. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I love this place. I have been here 3 times, and today is my 3rd. The people here are so nice and welcoming. I can’t believe that there are good people in this business anymore, but this salon really made me want to go back getting my nails done regularly. Thank you all for the great experience

I've been trying to find a hairstylist that could do a refresh on my grown out balayage and Oanh did just that- on short notice too! I booked my appt the day before because other salons were booked up for weeks. So glad it worked out! Oanh took such great care of me and was very knowledgeable. She did an amazing job on my balayage and haircut. She is the sweetest and I'm so happy that I got her when I arrived for my appointment! I will definitely be going back to her when it's time for a touch-up. Also, all the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. :)

Lady was really nice but the only thing correct about my nails were the color. I still paid and tipped because it's the holidays. I explained I wanted STILETTO nails and they're almond and shorter than what I asked for. I don't like to be confrontation especially when whoever is polite. I have been coming here for years and this isn't the first time my nails have been messed up. They were also bumped at checkout (right at closing) and when I got home they started getting impressions from touching a blanket because they were not cured correctly. Really wish the work was better but she was nice. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back since isn't the first time and getting my nails done is a real treat and right before Xmas makes it worse. I'd add photos but it's not giving me the options. Edit: it's now 2am and my fingers are in pain. It feels heavy and tight on my fingers, which I've never had before.

Said I wanted A ton of layers Almost a choppy look for my long hair. She tried to convince me of long layers. After assurring her of what I wanted she still proceeded to cut long layers into my hair. Not wanting confrontation I reminded her that I wanted my layers to start at my chin she said "oh yeah the chin" then just framed my face starting at the chin. Not being a person to like confrontation or a lot of attention and having already been in the chair 30 minutes, I stupidly just said it's fine, paid and left. The cut is cute but not what I asked for, and now I will be spending more money at a different place to get the cut I asked for 3 times. Would not recommend if you want a style the dresser might not agree with.

Went in to bleach my very black hair and Kim took very good care of my hair and gave me good tips to keep the color! Will definitely continue to come here for the rest of my life!
