The ladies here were so nice, respectful, and catering to my needs. The younger lady braided my hair. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. It took about 5 hours, cost me $200 and worth every dollar. I love it.

{I got Small Knotless Boxbraids} with 💙 Added but I brought it with me. I been looking for a Braiding Salon for a while now, cause I just moved. I was going threw google and came across them. When I say I wasn't disappointed!! I believe my braider name was (Shelby) not 💯 percent sure but it did start with an {S} We end up getting there at the same time, so I didnt have to wait not 1 min or sec. She was so sweet, and professional. Fast Braider, Neat and Clean. The owner was so nice and warming, she came and said hi with a big smile on her face. We had a nice conversation when we spoke on the phone. I would recommend this place 10/10 💥

I am so glad to have found this braiding salon. I was looking for someone in the area to do my moms birthday hair at a reasonable price. After a long 2 day google search I found this establishment. I called yesterday (10/23) to set an appointment asap & she was able to make it happen for this morning (10/24) at 9am. The ladies here did an excellent job on my ma’s hair. They took their time , WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL & NICE ! I’d say money well spent. I’ll recommend anyone to this place. Thank you so much.

I'm in town for business for a couple of weeks and Charlotte braided my hair, she did a great job. But the best part was the friendly and inviting atmosphere!!! It felt like I was sitting in my living room enjoying good conversation with my girlfriends. Pe’pe' & Charlotte was so friendly and engaging. This was a surprising and pleasant experience; I have been to many braid shops where they ignore you as a person and some are just RUDE. NOT here at Perpetua African Hair Braiding, they are professional and has the best customer service I have ever experienced at a braid shop. If I lived here in NC, this would be my place!

I have been driving from Durham to Greensboro once a month to get my hair braided because I have a wonderful braiding person there. I decided to try and find something closer so I started looking up places on Google. After reading through reviews of several different braiding salons, I decided to try Perpetua since they seemed to have the most positive reviews. When I originally called to make an appointment for this past Saturday she was very pleasant. I ended up getting sick and couldn’t make it and she was very accommodating and was able to reschedule me for this morning. I work in evenings so morning was my only availability. She told me to come at 9 am. When I got there no one was there, I called and she advised she was on her way. Someone came and let me in the building and maybe about 10-15 minutes later Perpetua came. She was very nice but I could tell not really organized. She had overbooked and forgot that she had scheduled me to come at 9. And then had another lady scheduled for 10:00. The other lady ended up waiting the whole 3 hrs for her to finish my hair. I got crotchets. Brought my own hair and paid $100 + $10 tip. When she finished I paid her and tried to get out the way since the other lady had been waiting so long. When I got to my car I took time to examine my hair and it was a pure mess. It look liked I needed to have my hair done not like I had just got it done. I spent in total with buying the hair $180. I couldn’t leave out the parking lot. I went back in and showed her my edges and the cornrows were lifting spreading and sliding out the braid. She first offered to redo but told me I would have to wait about 2-3 hours. I told I couldn’t wait I had to go to work. Then she said I could comeback and she would redo for free. When I tried to schedule that for next day or Friday or even next week she told me she couldn’t do because she was going to be out of town. I said to her this was my birthday weekend and I was going out of town and I work a professional job I couldn’t walk around looking like this. I said to her would you walk around like this after paying $180? She then says I’ll just give you your money back. That is THE ONLY saving grace in this story. Was that she did return the $110. But unfortunately I will not be going back. Maybe she’s best at braids only because she surely did not deliver for me as she did for those who gave these excellent reviews.

PePe is the nicest most professional woman ever! They actually will remember your appts based on the number you last called from!! Its ancient ,I know!! But just to know they remember what you requested is amazing. They're not pushy here, straight to the point, price is upfront, time wise is on time, and they listen. If I say no don't braid my edges...they won't. My hair took about 5 1/2 hrs to complete! Very reasonably priced. If you want peace & quiet, a little wine and laughs...I say visit this place!!

Ms. P was thee sweetest person. Also the young lady who works with her was as well. It was my first time there today and not only did they both exude class and elegance, but also patience as i am over 50 and baby, i thought i wasnt going to make it those 6 hours! 🥴🤣 wonderful experience. Sending one of my daughters tomm. ~Mrs. B.~ oh, i got box braids and am bald heald beatty baby. Like 2 inches bald. She gripped it all except my edges! I feel fab! THANK YOU
