As an Independent Contractor hair color specialist Phenix Salon Suites Denver is a great place to run my business out of. With a recent salon update and the ease of the ownership there is no other salon that can beat it! Been here for 10 years and am hoping to stay at this salon until I retire!

Great location and easy parking lot to get into. The suites here are all personal spaces which is nice although the walls can be thin and hearing conversations next door is no problem!

I see Ericka Shells at Chic Designs for my hair needs. I'm so glad she has a suite here! The outer doors are locked, so only people with appointments are in the building. Her suite is very cozy, and the bathrooms are always clean! She does an amazing job on my hair every time and this location is great!

Suite 128 Randi she is absolutely amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy throughout the process. She has such an incredible vibe to her. I have curly textured hair and was a little skeptical at first just because my hair can be a little harder than most but she did amazing!!! I found my place if you’re thinking about doing anything with your hair she’s the one to go to!!! Check her out

I'm not one to spend time writing a negative review, but the experience I had with this studio, specifically CarthyC (Instagram name), was horrendous. Therefore, I feel obligated to share the interaction I had with her yesterday. I want to make it known that my intentions are not to defer you from utilizing Carthy's services. I only wish to inform everyone of my experience in hopes that you don't get scammed out of 500 DOLLARS. So I had been waiting for my microblade appointment since January... 7 months of eagerness and patience. It was not clearly expressed that there were different 'Phenix Salon Suites' in the CO region. Thus, I ended up at the wrong location after leaving work for a half-day. I arrived at 2:20 yesterday when my appointment was scheduled for 2:30, 10 minutes early. I messaged her on Instagram immediately (the only way to get in contact with her) when I realized this was not the correct location. I informed her that I screwed up and I would be 18 minutes late because I had to drive from one location to the other, hoping she would empathize with me. Keep in mind, I was NOT attempting to reschedule, postpone, or push back my appointment. I was not aware there were two locations and I was very clear that I was en route to the correct location and expressed my sincerest apology. I was INSTANTLY greeted by her on Instagram with a message stating "Unfortunately I can't see you, I have to pick up my kids". Directly after that message, she charged my cc for $400 ($100 more than she should have charged me because I had already paid two deposits). I expressed that I'm human, that I made a mistake, and pleaded with her to accept my appointment as I'd waited 7 long months and the total cost was $500. I was greeted once again with cold messages lacking empathy. She stated that I would be past her "10-minute late frame" and that I would have to wait until her books reopen again (another waiting game), and that I would still be required to pay ANOTHER $400 on top of what she already charged me for a new appointment. So I would've theoretically paid $900 to have my brows done by her. I will bluntly say, she highlights that if you do a no-show, you will be charged for the entire amount of the appointment. I understood that going into this, but I was in contact with her the ENTIRE TIME. I made the mistake of driving to the wrong location, but it's not like I was late and taking advantage of her time, AT ALL. I made it very clear that I respect her business (especially being a small business owner myself), yet I was confronted with absolutely no understanding or reasoning. She charged my card and essentially wanted nothing to do with me after that. The convo on Instagram went back and forth for a bit longer. After requesting a refund for the extra $100 that she charged my card - she stated, "You will not be able to book in our studio in the future with any of our artists." She sent me the refund and then blocked my account. Again, I'm here to inform you of my experience in hopes that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I'm now out 7 months of waiting patiently for her services and $500 that was taken from me without ANY services conducted or any understanding of trying to reschedule a new appointment. She did not work with me. She did not show empathy. This is how she runs her business and makes her money, charging the FULL amount for her services if you show up at the wrong location, even with the intentions of driving to the right one. Would I have been 18 minutes late? Yes. Did I drive to the wrong location? Yes. I take full responsibility for that. BUT, the unethical messages that I received were truly appalling and lacked human understanding. I hope this review finds its way into the right hands/eyes because I would hate to see her steal $500 of your hard-earned money. All because you were 8 minutes outside of her "late frame." Cheers everyone. I wish you all nothing but beautiful brows and happy bank accounts.

I'm sorry phenix for leaving this on here but I have to respond as this pertains to my business. In response to Alex Wenrich's review. Please refer to the image as this is the conversation that we had. She has no respect for me or my time so I'm glad I made the right decision by taking her as a client. All of my clients get very detailed confirmation emails & texts prior to there appointment. 4 reminders & all have the exact full address. I'm not sure how she ended up in a whole different city. My location is also on my Instagram page (where she communicates with me and found me) & my booking page.
