This space is very elegant and spotlessly clean. The restrooms are high-end casino-level, and every touch in this place suggests elegance and skill. Someone keeps this place in great condition! I will be back there many times.

I rented a suite in this Phenix salon. I want to thank the manager Darina, who helped me with all my questions. She knows several languages ​​and is a very responsive person. The Mission Valley Mall is a convenient location for many clients. If I had not changed my state of residence, I would still be working here.

Dom is the BOMB, I didn’t need to tell him what I wanted because I really didn’t know other than change. I got a cut, color, products at an excellent price, 2 hours and I was out of there. Thanks Dom your amazing artist and all around good guy!!

Hi I'm Chenntel Owner of Afrotheraphy The Loc Shop @ Phenix Salon suites is conveniently located in Mission Valley San Diego. It's safe, clean, and has automatic door locks. Managers are always on site, and bathroom facilities are always clean. Highly recommend renting Phenix Salon Suites.

I unfortunately paid a young lady $350 as a deposit for service that was not completed due to both of us having reasons. I asked the young lady for a refund she stated the deposit is non-refundable as she stated is on her website. So in return I asked for the product in which I paid for since I could not get the full service, she stated I owed her $125 in order to receive the product. I asked her for proof that the product alone cost her $475 in which she showed me $272. I asked what is with the up charges and she said she makes her own prices, which is not displayed anywhere or on her website. Long story short I paid $475 for a $272 product but no full service. I contacted these suites to let them know this salon renter is going about business in this manner and have not received any response. It’s just disheartening that someone will bleed you for money instead of understanding where this went wrong and try to resolve an issue in the most professional manner.

This place have a lot of great professionals but, do not book with Quinia in suite 117. I booked my appointment the day before, text her that morning with no response, then showed up for her to cancel the appointment face to face at the salon. She text me when I was walking through the door looking for her suite, so of course I didn’t look at my phone. Then had the audacity to be irritated when I showed up. Absolutely unprofessional.

This place may be really nice and well decorated but it's far from a good salon. My girlfriend walked in for a haircut after she saw a sign that said "walk-ins welcomed" only to find out that walk-ins are not welcomed but in fact close to rejection. She was greeted by no one, nor a front desk was available to ask for a haircut. She waited 10 minutes for someone to speak to her since she didn't want to interrupt anyone already giving haircuts. After waiting she approached a stylist who told her he was busy and to go "door by door" to each stylist to see who could give her a haircut. I don't know if this is part of their "changing the salon industry" strategy or their "excellent client experience" stated in their website but it's definitely not a salon that welcomes anyone at any time. She tried calling for an appointment but got nowhere. If someone can please provide information on how to get a haircut here she and I would really appreciate it.

Tina is the best! Tina is professional and does a fabulous job. I have very fine hair and she always makes me feel like a million bucks.

It's absolutely beautiful inside! The entrance is really pretty. All the studios I walked past are so clean and smell like fresh paint. I believe they range in different size, but most that I saw looked on the small size.
