Attention and care with your children! Great kid friendly products and a positive kid centered environment. Ali H is absolutely amazing!!! Our son, like most kids hated hair cuts and I mean he hated it, we had even been to pig tails several times with better experiences then outside locations but still a wrestling match into the chair everytime. But there was something about Ali that was so soothing loving and sweet she turned his miserable experience into one he enjoys so much he continues to ask and inquire when he can come back. Ali has a life long customer of us with her customer service, empathy, passion, and skillset - - - its great she got him to stop crying but even greater she gives us a fun and trendy haircut every time she delivers great quality work whether it’s an appointment first thing in the morning or the last one one at night.

I was so nervous about my son’s 1st hair cut but he did great! He loved it here he didn’t want to leave! Jenny did amazing with his hair cut 10/10 recommend!

Took my son Ronnie for his first hair cut today..definitely was nervous because it’s his first time and my son is on the spectrum but Kenny was just amazing with my son..my son loved it and we will definitely be back! most amazing experience 10/10 will recommend

It's always a pleasant experience when we go here. My three year old LOVES to play with the trainset while waiting for his turn. We also love how the kids get to pick their own fun seats to get their haircuts in. Before our son used to be terrified of getting his haircut. He would fight us, move around too much, etc. but he sits still and listens when we go here and always looks forward to a treat after his haircut. The staff is very friendly and we can't recommend this spot enough! Give it a try!

This was such an amazing experience they were so good with my 21 month old and so accommodating and cooperative to make sure the cut went smooth and was exactly what we wanted i am so in love with how it came out!

I had high hopes coming in for this experience. My 2 year old was really excited about the cars and the fun atmosphere but I left extremely disappointed in the haircut. Unfortunately I didn't realize it until we got home. Jenny was our stylist and I tried to give direction (it's my kid, I know her hair) but she rushed through the cut and didn't give me a chance to make sure it's what we wanted. I felt like we were being rushed out and instead of giving me a chance to check the cut, she put in a braid and sent us on. It was only when we got home that I realized the cut is super uneven and not what I asked for and now I'll have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I had high hopes but we won't be coming back here and I'm not thrilled that I spent $30 for this.

Our stylist Courtney was wonderful, patient, and so good with my two toddlers 1st haircuts. They loved their experience and their hair looks great. Will absolutely go back to see her.

I was so hesitant to get my sons first haircut because I wasn't sure how he was going to react to clippers. He is extremely sensitive to sounds, and new things, and he struggles with sensory issues at times. We were paired with Ali, and she was FANTASTIC. I wish I had better words to describe her, but she did such a good job with my son, and made the experience a positive, rather than a negative. She was quick but patient, thorough, and highly skilled. I almost want to say what she does is an art, because thats what it looked like. Even though my son was squirmy, and cried at times because he was scared of the sounds/sensations, she would stop, reassure him, and continue on once he was calm. She gave him the cutest haircut, and did not mind me taking pictures or videos for memories. I can not recommend Pigtails and Crewcuts more, and I'm sure everyone there is skilled, I have to be a little biased and recommend Ali. She is great. I would also like to add that she asked (quietly so he wouldnt hear) before giving him treats, which is very important to me because we do try to watch for dyes and such (we are those kinda parents) I can't wait to continue to bring my son here for future haircuts, because no one can top Pigtails and Crewcuts

My son, a lively bundle of unpredictable movements, twisted, turned, and wiggled, yet she maintained her calm, wielding her tools with the expertise of a true artisan. She deftly maneuvered around his bobbing head, steadying his gaze and gently guiding him back to focus, never once losing her poise. Her patience was an art form, and by the end, she had crafted a cut that left us in awe.

I have been a customer for 15 years. I used to bring my oldest to what used to be the only location in our area. They opened one a little closer to where I live so we switched a bit ago. The lovely ladies who have worked there (and still do) are a constant in our lives. To see my 16 year old in the chair next to a dad holding his own little guy who’s not a fan of getting his hair cut is almost a bonding experience with other parents and the staff. I remember so vividly when my own boys were at that stage and so does the staff - and now one of my boys is taller than they are! I’ve seen them work on scared toddlers, children with developmental and cognitive disabilities,, and everything in between and each child gets individualized attention and care based on their needs. They do it with a level of patience and compassion that is truly moving! 10/10 I will ALWAYS recommend!!

This place was hands down a great experience for my son’s first haircut. The staff were all so friendly. The girl who cut my sons hair made the process so fun and seeing my baby boy happy in the chair and not scared made me know he was in good hands.

Allyyah was amazing for my child’s first haircut experience! She was patient with him, asked how I wanted his hair cut, and explained what she was doing before she did it throughout the haircut process. Opted for the First haircut experience and it was worth the extra 5/6 bucks for the cute photo and lock of hair!

My son has autism so I haven’t been able to take him anywhere to get his hair cut. This was his first experience getting his hair cut by someone other than me and it was a great experience for him! Everyone here was so kind and friendly. Cherea was the one who cut his hair and even though she was so patient, she was very quick! She was able to get him to position his head to wherever she needed it to be. I would 100% recommend this place, especially Cherea, to anyone with children who have special needs or just anyone in general!

Outstanding service for both my 2 year old and Mt 12 year old! My sensory sensitive 2 year old was handled perfectly for her first haircut. The first haircut package is a perfect memento to mark the occasion. My 12 year old got a trim for healthy looking hair with some fairy hair tossed in. The staff was warm, welcoming, accommodating, gentle, and downright delightful. The whole atmosphere is a gem in a service that can be very difficult for parents, kids and the stylists. This is the second time we have come here and most likely won’t be coming back. Firstly the website never wants to work to make a reservation. Secondly the both times we have come here the haircut is super choppy, uneven around the ears. Surprisingly my son has been super still and too shy to move while doing his haircut, I would understand if my son was crazy moving or upset but he wasn’t in the slightest. We’ll be going elsewhere for our sons haircuts….
