I recently took my son for a haircut, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! Melissa was incredibly patient and professional, making sure my son felt comfortable throughout. She listened carefully to what we wanted and delivered a stylish, neat cut that suits him perfectly. she's been doing it since he was 3 and now he is 12 and we will keep coming many more years. The attention to detail and friendly atmosphere made the entire experience enjoyable for both of us. My son walked out with a big smile, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend this place to any parent looking for great service!

Took my 2 1/2 yr old grandson for a fade. I let them know he had special needs and Chelsey was just the best. She let him touch the tools before using them and made it such a fun experience for him. So grateful! We’ll be back.

Very rude and unprofessional. We walked in 3 minutes late for a bang trim and they refused to honor our appointment. Tiffany is who I dealt with. There were 3 stylist there and only one other person needing a haircut. I had to leave with a crying child disappointed for not getting to have her hair cut. Customer service is non existent and after I saw how they treat people, I wouldn’t trust them with my child anyhow. I have very seldom ever left any business a bad review, but everyone here is very rude and unprofessional.

We’ve had great experiences here getting our sons hair cut! We love Emily! I love the way she cuts my son’s hair and she’s so sweet! We always request her! My son loves playing the video games while getting his haircut

Cute concept to take the nephew here. He's usually fidgety at first but his stylist gets him comfortable eventually, plus there are flat screens to keep the kids distracted. There are lots toys to choose from at checkout and the kids get a lollipop, of course..

I’m so glad Emily ended up cutting my baby’s hair. I really like the set up for kids and even the small toy area you can purchase prizes from. Such a good idea. My ONLY complaint is that we had an appointment at 10am with someone I chose randomly online. My one year old started to get fussy from having to wait almost 30mins. I ended up asking if someone else could help us and they immediately took care of us. I just wish someone would have acknowledged us rather than me having to say something. Overall, LOVE this place. We will definitely come back to see Emily

I had such a wonderful experience here w/ my kiddo! It was the first ever haircut for my little one and Emily did an amazing job helping them & also fixing a bad attempt we made w/ an at home hair cut. She turned a really upsetting weekend into a great one & I’m so grateful! And everyone working there was so kind and patient with all of the families coming in. I’ll definitely be going back. :) (and their first hair cut keepsakes were SO precious!!)

I was really hesitant to leave this review because normally, we LOVE pigtails & crewcuts but this last haircut was less than ideal… Chloe cut my son’s hair and she was SO rough and rushed through the whole thing. My four year old son was perfectly still and she acted like he was screaming and trying to rush through it. He looked in pain and when I asked him “are you okay?” to kind of hint to her she was going too fast, she ignored it. He later told me she did hurt him and was pulling his hair hard. She cut his hair WAY shorter than I wanted and completely uneven because she was going so fast. When I made a comment that his hair was too short all she said was, “Well it’ll grow back” WHAT?! Are you kidding me??? I said “He’s never had it that short. It looks like a buzz cut” she replied with, “Well the good thing is he looks cute with it short” HE LOOKS CUTE WITH ANY HAIR CUT BUT THAT’S NOT THE POINT? If I wanted an uneven buzz cut I could’ve just taken him to the backyard and done it myself. I was VERY disappointed in this experience and her lack of accountability as well as attitude. I definitely recommend going to a more experienced stylist or maybe somewhere else.

This place is great. I take my son to get his hair cut here by Michelle. She is absolutely amazing! She’s super sweet and great with him. She always does an amazing job. Today I took my son to get his usual hair cut and I brought my daughter with me. My daughter noticed a little girl there getting her hair braided and Michelle overheard my daughter say she wanted her hair done like that too. After she finished my son she quickly braided her hair for her before her next appointment. Again Michelle is great. I can’t praise her enough!

We have been bringing our son to Emily for a yr and a half now. She does such a great job every time. He is a wiggle bug and she is so patient with him! His hair always looks so good! 10/10 would recommend to spend the money on this place. We started off with the request of scissors only and today he had his first hair cut with clippers and Emily did great introducing what can be a new scary thing and made it fun for him. Also, we did get the first hair cut package his first time and framed it.

We love Emily! She always cuts my son’s hair well. The staff is always friendly and salon is very kid friendly. My son is always excited to get his hair cut because of the choice of vehicle chairs. The organization and cleanliness is always a plus.

We have been going here for years…until today. We had originally scheduled 2 appointments for 9/28/24 and canceled online to reschedule for 9/29/24. We arrived for our 9/29 appointments and 10 minutes before our appointment received a cancellation. Went inside (20 minutes early) and they put us back on the schedule stating couldn’t figure out why it was cancelled. Fast forward 10 minutes and a lady (manager) approached my husband and me to obtain our information so she can bill us for the missed appointment and the late cancellation? Advised her we didn’t miss the appointment on 9/28, we cancelled it to reschedule for 9/29. She told me that was not true and that if we want to have our haircuts today that we would be required to pay for the 2 missed appointments on 9/28 and also the 2 appointments on 9/29. She went into a diatribe about how we caused a gap in their schedule yesterday (9/28) and this was their process. I asked for clarification that she was asking me to pay for 4 haircuts today to cover the 2 time slots for yesterday too? Even though we canceled? She said yes and then said that we have missed 4 appointments over the years. As it turns out, the manager cancelled our appointments 10 minutes before our appointment today (9/29) without the courtesy of a phone call. We make 2 appointments for every visit because we have 2 children. The only time we ever missed an appointment was when a fatality wreck blocked us on 35 for well over an hour. I called 10 minutes before the appointment to let them know what was going on and they did not care one bit. Told me we had until 5 minutes after the appointment time or they would cancel. Clearly we weren’t going to make it so I told her to just cancel the appointment. So they’re holding those 2 appointments and a clear system issue for the 9/28 appointments against us. I can’t tell you HOW many times we’ve had an appointment scheduled and they are late getting to us by 20-30 minutes without an explanation or apology. The last appointment we sat there for over an hour waiting to be called only to be told that they thought we had left so they moved to the appointments after us. We never even left the waiting area, but they were apologetic and worked both kids in that day. They showed me who they were the first time and I gave them a pass. The manager’s attitude and approach to the situation could have been a lot more professional and she would have gotten actual answers. I have been here 3-4 times already and I've been here during slow times and when there are alot of customers, but the ladies here are always attentive and friendly. My son's hair is always fabulous when we leave. He's 19 months old, and does cry while he gets his hair cut, but every stylist I have been with is always patient, caring and have great attention to detail.

While we were running around doing some shopping, we had come across this cute place; “Pigtails and Crewcuts”! Our 2 year old desperately needed a clean up/trim. So we thought why not! And although the sign said “by appointment only”due to low volume, they were able to get us in!! We sat our son Ezra down in the red airplane, as they played Luca on the tv’s (which had him hooked) and within 15 minutes Melissa had him in and out! Literally. I usually don’t trust a lot of people with his hair because, it’s so straight and not many people know what they’re doing. But these ladies were knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. The prices weren’t bad either. Overall we were beyond happy with the service provided and will be back as long as that continues! Thanks Pigtails and Crewcuts & Hairstylist Melissa!

We have taken our kids here for a while to get their haircuts (ages 4 & 2). Our 4 year old has a very hit or miss experience during his hair cuts, sometimes he is perfectly fine, other times he gets very overwhelmed and screams. We have NEVER had any issues with feeling uncomfortable due to my son screaming during his appts and usually the stylists are very positive and help get the haircut over as quick as possible. Today was the first day that I felt uncomfortable and upset following my son’s haircut. Today was one of the visits where he did scream and was not enjoying being there whatsoever. After completion of his haircut, the facial reaction that the stylist made to her coworkers was quite disheartening to see as a parent. I am well aware that my son can be a lot and his screaming and crying can make for a very unpleasant visit on everyone’s side. However, I still expect a stylist to be professional no matter what the experience was like. We will still go back, because overall, we have not had an experience like this here. However, today’s visit was quite sad.
