We went here a couple a weeks ago and it was very busy. My two girls got their hair cut. My 1 year old got a trim and 5 year old got a hair cut. They charged me full price for my 1 year old. She literally cut a little trim. My 5 year old got a hair cut but once we got home we saw how uneven it was. Very disappointed because of the total price but that wasn't even a big issue. Once we saw how uneven the hair cut was that's when I was truly upset. Wish we had a better experience.

My almost 4 year old is autistic so cutting his hair is almost impossible unless you do it while he's asleep. We have been to other chain salons but had no luck. We decided to try the location in Greensboro. He was a little timid at first but Jennifer was our stylist and she was fantastic. Jennifer was very patient,professional but most of all she was very nice even though my son would try to move around ot didn't bother her. My son actually had fun getting his hair cut. We will be going back to Jennifer from now on. 😊

This was our second time here, and Ms. Kayla was amazing! She made my little girl feel like a princess. She was very patient and she was great with children. She enjoyed her "spa day" ❤️

We drove down from Roanoke for a quick road trip with the kids to shop and decided to get our 1.5yr olds first long overdue haircut. Needless to say this will now become a monthly trip down. Worth double the price. The atmosphere there is truly amazing for kids and families. Everyone there is so nice and inviting. Our son had Tianna and she was incredible with our son and delivered the perfect haircut we was looking for taking him from long hair to a nice fade on the sides with a little in the top. The whole experience can’t be described in a post or seen in pics online. I fully recommend this olace and will definitely be returning.

We love get our toddlers hair cut here. Ms. Zoe is amazing, great with kids & does an amazing job! Highly recommend!!! (Don’t mind the lollipop face review picture) very affordable!

I took my 17 month old in for his first haircut and Taylor did an amazing job and was so good with him. I expected more tears from him, but she was great at distracting him and being playful. The 1st haircut package was worth the money and it was such a memorable experience. Highly recommend; we will be back!

Ms Taylor was great and made my daughter feel comfortable through the whole appointment. My daughter also got fairy hair and absolutely loves it. While they are a little more expensive than some other places, the atmosphere, decor and staff make it well worth the extra cost. We will be back and highly recommend them.

This has become our family's go-to place for our kids' haircuts. The staff is wonderful with kids of varying ages and needs! Most recently I brought my autistic son here, who gets sensory overwhelmed easily, and Ms. Kris was very patient while we figured out what he needed to be comfortable, even on a busy Saturday with lots of noises going on. My son went in nervous and apprehensive and left very happy, looking forward to getting his haircut again next time.

My son had the most amazing experience Tuesday during his haircut. He was booked with “Aunt Nana K” and she was wonderful! My son has a long mullet that I’ve cut through the years (he’s 4) and typically moves around and doesn’t sit still. I was worried bringing him somewhere to get a haircut mostly because I didn’t know how him moving would be handled, if the proper time would be taken with him or if a someone wouldn’t aggravated. All my worries were put at ease when we walked through the door. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience! We can’t wait until the next time!

Such an amazing experience here for my son’s first professional haircut! We booked the Daddy and Me package and it did not disappoint. I was very anxious to take my son because he gets overwhelmed very easily and becomes upset but Karla (who we booked with based off of other reviews) made it absolutely amazing for him! She handled the fussing with ease and even the other staff members would step in to keep things moving. I truly could not recommend a kids salon and stylist as much as I recommend this establishment! Having the play area for the kids is amazing and overall is worth the hour drive from where we live!

Taylor did a great job on my extremely thick hair. Not many are able to do mine very well or like to because it’s so thick. She was very attentive to me and my hair. Excellent service and would highly recommend Taylor and this salon.

This has got to be the absolute best Salon for kids. I took my 3 year old son here for his first haircut. Kris was his hairstylist and she did phenomenal with my son, he was scared of getting his hair cut at first but she worked with him very patiently and got it done!! The rest of the staff were so sweet as well and welcoming and helping my son have the best experience possible. The car seats and pictures on the walls, toys, and bright atmosphere was a plus too! 1000% recommend this to everyone

Excellent place to cut children's hair. Very clean, a very pleasant atmosphere. Very good attention. We have only been there a couple of times but we recommend it 100%. Aunt Nana was very affectionate and fun.

Appointment was at 1:20, showed up at 1. Three individuals filled in significantly after 1:20 and got seated and attended to immediately. I understand they requested someone specifically however, Karla told us she just had to clean the chair up for us just to have her attend to another child. General manager Tia had no knowledge of what was going on in her hair salon.! Used to love the place but the only cosmetologist that actually acknowledges a child’s feelings was Taylor, hope she finds another shop that compliments her bubbly personality!

Don't bother making appointments here, because you'll just be skipped at their convenience. Hands down the worst experience we've had. My daughter left in tears because of their unprofessional behavior. *No our appointment was not with Kayla, it was for 1st available at 120. We arrived early, and sat patiently until 1:20 and observed 2-3 other families tended to before we were acknowledged. It's you guys' appointment policy that needs to be adjusted. You shouldn't allow non specific stylist appointments to be booked, if all stylists can be personally booked for the same time slot, and leave us waiting. As our appointment was at 120, and we arrived before the other 120 appointments, we should have been taken care of first. Instead your stylist chose to skip over us for clients who booked specifically. You can try to push blame on this, and paint me as the problem for speaking up about your poor business practices. It's actually laughable that you respond to me in this way, yet when you responded to my fiance you essentially begged for us to give you another chance. We've found a much more accommodating salon, that made our daughter feel seen, and not passed over. Have the day you deserve, ma'am.

My daughter Hannah (4.5) had her first haircut yesterday. We loved Ms. Tia! She was so sweet with Hannah, and it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Pigtails and Crewcuts to anyone in the Greensboro area.

Unfortunately, our family was unable to make it to the salon on Wednesday, but that won’t stop us from shouting from every rooftop how amazing Angel and her crews (both locations) are for the children and families in this community. Angel herself lives up to her name. The woman is a gift from above. I REGULARLY tell any parent looking for a children’s salon that they can walk in to either location and draw a name from a hat and STILL have the best possible experience they’ll ever have. It’s true! My son got his first cut in Greensboro with aunt Nana Kay. Truly our own community grandmother who loves your kids as much as mine. His first cuts were a breeze. As he got older, not so much. My son is nonverbal autistic and has a hard time with haircuts. You won’t find a more patient and loving team to help ease your mama nerves. Angel herself was passing through checking on everyone and greeting them. When she saw Liam struggling and me trying to juggle my infant, she offered help with open arms- literally. She cradled little baby Malachi, reassured Liam lovingly and gave me that, “everything is okay, mama” look. I instantly felt a mix of gratitude, peace and pride. Another time, Liam got a much needed haircut while we were out of town. It turned out… not so great. I was MORTIFIED, and I reached out to Angel with photos asking for help. She made it happen, and I could NOT believe how great it looked when the stylist was done. I’m SO proud for our community. We’re blessed to have each and every one of the pigtails and crewcuts team members available to us. Kids are free to be kids, and each experience is special. Every child, mama, dad, brother is welcomed warmly, and every individual is seen, heard and appreciated. Pigtails and Crewcuts is here for EVERY child and family, and as a special needs mother, I can confirm that that includes our special children. We’re safe and welcome here. 🩵

When my boys were growing up, we didn't have these fancy haircut places for kids. We went to Supercuts, and they needed to behave without toys-tv-distractions to sit in. This is another generation, and my nephews enjoy coming here. The prices are the same as any other hair salon. The ladies that work here are incredibly patient with all the kids. Great staff. Super nice and helpful.

I was a little nervous about how my son would go with his first haircut as he is terrified of buzzing sounds from clippers, but we had such a GREAT experience here. Nana K did my boys haircut, kept him so happy and entertained the whole time. Was also relived that they had a play area for my other toddler to play in while my son got his haircut. Well worth the money and I was definitely return. Thank you Nana K!
