Walk in, was told by a red haired receptionist who clearly was more interested in her phone that it would be 20 mins. 45 mins later we still hadn’t been called up. Stylists would just stand around for 15 mins between kids. Not a very professional place. Was hoping to give it a try instead of the other places in town. We’ll go someplace else.

I booked my 16mo his first haircut. Ended up getting my 4yo one as well. Ms. ADRIENNE took care of my 4yo, she did a great job. Ms. SHARON took amazing care of my 16mo, I was nervous about taking him in for hir cut. She is so sweet, I was able to sit with him and Ms.Alley did some fun tricks to keep him entertained. I will definitely be coming back here with my boys. Thanks for taking such great care of my babies.

Love this place for getting our kids' haircuts. Miss Allie is phenomenal when interacting with our all three of our young kids, and they look forward to getting their haircuts now. The other stylists are friendly too, and it feels like a very laid-back atmosphere. Very fun and well priced. It's easily our go-to spot for kids' haircuts. Can't recommend it enough!

Update: 12/8/2024 I'm so upset. I brought my kiddo in for her first haircut before, and they were amazing. This time, we had a different stylist, and it's not even at all. I could understand if she was moving a lot, but she wasn't. IF we come back, I'll make sure to request my other stylist... Pigtails and Crewcuts is the place to go for a toddler. Our stylist was Audriana? I hope I spelled that right. She was SO sweet and good with my 2 year old. We did the first haircut experience, and it was the sweetest thing. 10/10 will be back again.

We have been here 3 times and have never had an issue. Staff has always been so nice and patient with my sensory overloaded child. But today he saw Ms. Adrienne and she was so rough and soooo rude to my little one. He never screams and cries for a haircut. Yes he may not sit still but NEVER SCREAMS AND CRIES!!! She would forcibly hold his head still and grab on to the top of his head so tight he was saying it hurt and to please stop. She was so rough with his head and face trying to use the scissors and then rushed through doing anything. Every time we have been they would show him the clippers and show him they vibrated. They have also had toys to distract him or ask if he wanted to watch a different show or just try to make it enjoyable. BUT NOT TODAY!! She was more worried about being on her phone and ordering lunch. I could even tell the other workers around her were mad at how she was acting. Even one of them stepped up and said maybe you should put the phone down. I WILL NEVER BRING MY CHILD HERE AGAIN!!!

We’ve been to a few different kid’s salons and Pigtails and Crewcuts is by far the best! We have had multiple stylists that are great, but we absolutely loved Summer! Our 2.5 year old is scared of the haircut process and she took her time to make the experience enjoyable for him and ensure his hair looked great!

Ally is our stylist and she is fantastic, my son loves going to get his hair cut. She also cuts my hair while I’m there, we made it a father/ son thing and she makes it fun ever time.

I brought my son here for a haircut today. It was the first time that he had a professional haircut so he was super unsure and scared about it. The staff here were really kind and accommodating. Despite their best efforts to make him super comfortable (giving him suckers and snacks that he liked and putting the TV on to what he normally watches) he was screaming and crying his head off. Summer still somehow managed to give him such a great looking haircut despite all of his screaming and crying. There was another staff member there (I didn't catch her name) that was also trying to help entertain him and calm him down. They didn't make us feel like a burden or like we were being any sort of inconvenience despite how loud he was being. My son looks so handsome with his new haircut! I would definitely come back here.

This is the most kid friendly place I have ever been too. You can really tell the enjoy what they do and are super patient. This was my daughter's first hair cut and they saved a lock and took a picture as a keepsake. I will be back!

Told the stylist to “keep it long”, bare minimum trim, at least 5 times and she chopped it completely off. It was too late from the first chop with her scissors. My babies curls are gone. Not to mention is uneven and choppy. Do not come here they don’t listen to what you want and are “scissor happy”. Never going back

I purchased the Princess package for my 4 year old and it was nothing short of that. Ms. Sharon and Kiki did not cut any corners and took their time with everything for my little girl. They made sure she was comfortable and kept her engaged throughout the whole experience. 10/10 recommend !!!

Took my baby here for his first haircut. We showed up 15 minutes early, checked in at the front and they told us it’ll be a sec while the stylist finished up with another child. We waited 15 minutes past our appointment time and no one came to check on us or let us know while we waited. The stylist did apologize so that was okay. I asked her to just trim my baby’s hair. He has a little bit of curl so I wanted to preserve that. The experience was fine, but the end result was horrible. My son’s hair is awful, choppy and super short. He didn’t even move during the haircut, so it’s not like he was fighting. It is very uneven and poorly done. I definitely do not recommend this place. I wish I had never gone there.

We’ve had our son’s hair cut here a couple of times and theyre always so kind to the kids! They cut fast so kids dont get worn out and we’ve always been happy with his haircuts!

Angela is absolutely amazing with our 18 month old! We have been seeing her every month for about a year. Our little guy loves her and she does a great job playing with him and his hair always looks so handsome!

I called to setup a cut for my son and the most sarcastic, snarky, young lady answered the phone who redirected me to their website. Rather take my money where people are happy especially around kids down to the person answering the phone.

My baby doesn’t like anyone to mess with his hair nor does he like being touched. Ms.Angela was very sweet and worked around him moving around and not wanting her touching him or his hair!!

My son is very sensory overloaded at times. He doesn’t like straps or anything feeling constricted. He really didn’t like getting his hair touched, combed or sprayed which is really necessary for a haircut! The moment he started getting uneasy I told the stylist we could just quit. She insisted to give him some time (he threw a fit on the floor) and then he independently walked over to selection of collective cars they sale. And the stylist MET HIM WHERE HE WAS COMFORTABLE! She let him stand picking out cars and she bent over the entire time to cut his hair. My mom heart exploded. I feel like most places would have gotten irritated and definitely called quits. But not this place they are amazing! I can’t thank them enough!

Sharon was amazing with my autistic son she saw his head was sensory sensitive and she made it fun by providing distractions for him. I'll definitely return.
