Great job! We took our 18 month old son for his first haircut and the experience was incredible. His stylist (Ashley) did an amazing job with both the haircut and making our son feel comfortable with the new surroundings! We will DEFINITELY bring him back for his next haircut!

Marissa is absolutely wonderful! . She is soooo good with my grandson! Patient & kind & she is a great hairdresser but manager as well!!!!! My grands on adores her. I’ve been taking my grandson here for over 2 years. I recommend Marissa to everyone.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this salon especially for neurodivergent kiddos. There was a well stocked play area to keep my child entertained while waiting. Marisa was so kind, patient, and gentle! My child struggles with people touching her hair and she fidgets and moves around a bunch but Marisa was a pro and her haircut was a breeze. The haircut was also very affordable! This will be the only place I take my kiddo from now on! Thanks for such a wonderful experience!!

Our 2 year old son had his first haircut with Ashley and we LOVED our experience!! She did great communicating with us every step of the way on what we wanted done with his hair and was so gentle and accommodating with him. I thought he would be nervous but he had so much fun! His haircut is SO cute and exactly what we wanted! We can’t recommend Ashley enough!

We showed up for my daughter’s appointment to find a locked door and no one there. While we were trying to figure out what was going on another person showed up, who also had an appointment for their child. An employee showed up and informed us that they no longer take appointments on Sundays (even though the website allowed for bookings) and basically said not my problem. While I understand mistakes happen, the fact that the employee simply did not care for our wasted time or the fact that our three year old was crushed that she was not able to get her hair cut is unacceptable to me. We will not be returning and I will no longer recommend this salon.

Super patient with special needs kids, it’s always a great experience! Marisa is awesome for curly cuts as well! Everyone is always super patient and playful with my kids. I won’t go anywhere else with a young or special needs child!

We love coming in here because it’s easy to book a service and the ladies are so good with my kiddo. He loves getting to pick out a prize at the end of it and I love how Rachel is so sweet to my son even when he’s a wiggle worm in the chair.

Marisa pierced my daughter’s ears and was SO patient, kind, & thorough about the dots. They turned out WONDERFUL. My daughter didn’t even cry!! Rachel and Ashley also always cut her hair, & they have been great with that. Rachel even cuts my hair in the salon!!

Staff was absolutely wonderful. The salon is adorable. Didn't wait long for our stylist and she did my son's haircut really fast but really well. His haircut looks great. It was my son's first haircut and they gave us a keepsake card with a before and after photo plus a lock of his hair! So thoughtful, I love it. Wonderful salon for kids overall. I highly recommend them.

My 4 year old son is autistic and struggles with haircuts sometimes. Ashley and Marisa are amazing and understanding though and have really made the haircut experience doable and even fun for my son! ❤️ I highly recommend Pigtails & Crewcuts 😁

Had a WONDERFUL experience here! My 2.5yo daughter got her first ever haircut and it went so smoothly. She hates people touching her hair and I was so nervous as a parent, but the stylist was quick and so kind to us both. She did an amazing job and I am so happy with the end result. The environment is very kid-friendly! Highly recommend!

I know 25 bucks for a kids cut sounds like a lot, but it's so worth it. These ladies are amazing and have done so good with 3 of my babies. It's worth the money and they have a little play area for your other kids while they work on one of them. I'll never take mine elsewhere. When my boys went for their first ever haircuts it was also here and they have always done amazing even when my boys cried or screamed the whole time.

I was mad at first that we needed to wait longer than I expected. But the kids had a great time and experience. Marisa is a very talented hairdresser, and she did great! The cuts turned out just perfect! She was also so calm, confident, and welcoming to the kids. Also, it is very nice and quiet inside, no crowds constantly walking and squeezing in and out, compared to the other kid's salon we've been to. There is also a play room with a train table, crayons, books and stuff. Kids LOVED the experience and I like the haircuts

I've been to this location a few times with my toddler who cannot stand to have his hair cut and goes into full meltdown mode. Every time we go the staff is endlessly patient and goes the extra mile to help smooth the process. Today we went and he absolutely refused to even sit in the chair. The staff (Rachel) was exceptional as we tried to get him to sit for a cut. She tried everything and I was about to give up, but Vanessa said she had some time and offered to give it another go while a sweet customer helped with distractions. We left a few minutes later with his hair cut and I was in tears I was so grateful. I won't go anywhere else to get my child's hair cut.

Made an appt for 12:40 but wasn’t seen until 1, understandable but still difficult especially when you have a toddler and little kid wanting to play with all the toys showcased up front. Our stylist did a good job but cut wayyyy more than my son wanted, I think she realized it too. Very patient staff was a bonus. Not sure if we will return.

Ms. Ashley took care of Eli over the weekend at P&C. He is almost 5 and this was the FIRST haircut he has had that he didn't totally break down or try to run out the door. Pigtails has always been better than any other salon simply for the fun environment and understanding and quick stylists. But Ashley was able to keep Eli calm and "talked" him through each thing she did. This was huge for him and his sensory issues. He didn't run away!!!! I will definitely be asking for her in the future!

Rachel was kind and patient. While we were waiting, I saw her being very patient and kind while cutting the hair of a child with autism. She was sweet and took her time with him. My daughters haircut was perfect and she was thrilled.

This is one of the best kids/ babies salon in town and Knoxville has very few. I loved the atmosphere, hairdresser, her energy and flexibility to take time or involve my baby into a play during the haircut. They have very beautiful set up of current types of cars/ trucks to keep kids engaged and stay still during the haircut. It’s a very clean and spacious facility where even very young kids feel comfortable and happy. They have their own little shop for kids to shop smal fun things too. Only problem is that they don’t pick up the calls if you are trying to call and get the appointment and booking appointment on their website is much easier and they have appointments available for the same day easily too.
