Great first time. My 18 month old is not a fan of new people and new places so he was crying and screaming and Andrew was amazing, so patience my son haircut is great.

I brought my 2 and a half year old son to get a haircut. He has curly hair and I just wanted the sides trimmed down a little. There was a toy train station in the lobby area and my son had a blast playing with it while we waited for the stylist to finish with her client. Then when Samantha started doing my son's hair she was very nice and friendly and explained everything she was doing in detail. She did absolutely amazing trimming down the sides and back of my son's hair and I couldn't be more pleased.

We were searching for a place to get my Niece a hair cut. We found a wonderful place to do so. Jennifer our Hair Stylist was experierenced, comforting, and wonderful. I love Jennifer's approach of calmness and patients. I am so appreciative of her. I couldn't thank her enough. I am definitely coming back.

We’ve been coming to Pigtails & Crewcuts for about 3 years now and it’s always a great experience! We met a new stylist today and I couldn’t remember what he usually gets, so I asked Miss Kareema to do whatever she feels would look best on him, just leave some of his curls, and she did amazing!! She was so friendly and warm, and was very patient with my son as he was on the cusp of nap time (iykyk)… He always has fun and is excited to get his haircut…we will definitely be back again to see Kareema in the spring. Thank you guys!

These hair stylists make haircuts look easy! My stylist was able to complete the mom’s haircut service while my toddler was spinning my chair around. It was an enjoyable time for my whole family!

This was our first time at Pigtails & Crewcuts, and I can't express how grateful I am for the experience. My son has always been fearful of getting his haircut due to past experiences where the staff at other places weren’t very patient with him. From the moment we walked into Pigtails & Crewcuts, we felt welcomed. The staff was incredibly patient and understanding, which made a world of difference. Kareema, who cut my son’s hair, was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to reassure him throughout the entire process, even when he was hesitant and fidgety. Her patience was remarkable, and she handled the situation with such care. The waiting area is great for kids, with plenty of toys to keep them entertained, and the variety of car chairs to choose from is a fantastic touch to distract the little ones during their haircut. Overall, this is the best place to get your child's haircut. The staff is wonderful, and the environment is perfect for kids. Highly recommend!

This was our second visit to Pigtails & Crewcuts for our three year old and we’ve tried Chesapeake and now VB locations thus far. Both were great! Today’s visit was to the VB/hilltop location and we booked for timing/no specific stylist. We were paired with the wonderful Jenny who was warm and skilled. I got some consultation on working with my daughter’s curls. The vibe of the salon was energetic and friendly and multiple staff interacted with our family despite it being a busy day. My daughter had a great time! Pigtails & Crewcuts has been a great environment to socialize hair cuts in a positive and fun manner.

Abby was so great with keeping my daughter still and happy! She enjoyed her princess package and is still enjoying her goodies. Instead of being a princess for a day, she's carried on that spirit since her haircut 💇‍♀️ 4 days ago!
