I got a cut with Roman and could not be happier! They were super friendly, really listened to me on what I wanted, & delivered incredible service! This is seriously the best haircut I’ve gotten in YEARS and they even showed me how to style it at home :) I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Roman!

Roman is my stylist and they are FREAKING AMAZING! Professional, kind, experienced and talented. I love brainstorming new hair ideas with Roman and then seeing the design come to life! My first visit I brought in several pictures of a hairstyle from an animated movie that I wanted to emulate and Roman was able to bring the style to life for me! They are also so talented with color. I asked for a galaxy type pallet and Roman was able to make that vision a reality for me! So happy that Pink Ruby is focused on sustainability as part of the Green Circle Salons program! Thank y'all for being awesome and intentional. Also one of the only places that still has a mandatory mask policy and I am so appreciative. Thank you Roman and thank you Pink Ruby!

Went in today with no idea what I wanted and Roman gave me the cutest cut ever. They were so kind and clearly love and are good at what the do. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

Got my hair done by Roman and they did a fantastic job!! They took their time in making sure the color and cut were perfect. You can also tell the salon itself is a safe space. I highly recommend Roman and will be back again!

I just got my haircut by Roman and I'm not lying when I say it it was the best haircut I've ever had for my curly hair. I wanted bangs and Roman painstakingly took the time to ensure they fell perfectly with my natural curl. I can't recommend Pink Ruby and Roman enough.

Roman, who is newish, does an incredible job. They have the hair skills down pat, and they intuitively understood my curls and where to cut into the curl pattern. They were instantly trustworthy and amazing. They accept feedback incredibly well and I left with the absolute perfect hair cut! Pink Ruby as a salon is a place where I always feel safe and welcome. They still mask, given tight quarters. Their safety protocols for things like cuts or other stuff - even just basic courtesy - is top notch. Plus, supporting fellow queer community is always a win. You really can't go wrong with this salon.

Getting my haircut at Pink Ruby with Kendal was an amazing experience all around. I love that this is such a welcoming and accepting space, easy to book online, nice parking and then Kendal took the time to listen to what I was looking for. She shaped my short hair based on my preferences, not on my gender! And was experienced enough to understand my hair type and create a custom look I love! I've never been so happy with a hair cut!

I had a new stylist Stella do my hair. It was their first day and they did such a wonderful job even though i wasnt sure what i wanted. I gave them a general idea and feel and they made something wonderful of it. Recommend this place with all my heart for anyone who has been hesitant to try that rad alternative wild haircut, come here and they will make sure you walk away looking great!

I have not had my hair touched by a professional in many years. Less was more for a long time, but my hair had gotten really long and needed something special. I visited for a scalp treatment, a deep conditioning and a trim. The people here really catered to my needs and provided cruelty-free products for my experience. The environment is bright, open and beautiful and the entire experience is truly a treat. Will return and highly recommend!

I recently got my hair cut and colored by Lex at Pink Ruby Salon and I can't recommend them enough! Lex was patient and friendly, helping me find a shape and even made custom colors to honor a large life transition. A beautiful ritual. I'm grateful to them and their sweet robot musical taste, and to have a gender affirming hair experience for the first time.

Kit, one of the owners, is absolutely a genius with hair! They give me the best hair cuts I've ever had, and at really reasonable prices. Their work with my massive amounts of fine, straight hair is lovely, and their work with dye is exceptional. I love all the coloring I've ever gotten from them. In short, I LOVE their work, and the salon is queer-friendly too!!!! It's a hard to go anywhere else now that I've had the best!

Kendal is an absolute genius with hair. She does amazing with curly hair and is absolutely will work with you to make any vision come to life. She can do magic with colors and I honestly cannot think of anyone I'd ever trust more. Cuts, colors, advice on products and care, music choices during services.. you name it she kills it.

Today I got my first real haircut since before the pandemic (that's about two years as I write this), and I chose Pink Ruby Salon specifically because I wanted to support Seattle's queer community and I wanted to go to a place where I could be openly nonbinary and have that be totally OK and safe. And I hoped I'd get a good haircut. Well, I got a great haircut and a fun conversation with my stylist. They use PulpRiot colors and hair care products, and everything they use is vegan, which is cool even to me as a non-vegan. I'm looking forward to having them do some crazy colors on my hair, and I'll definitely be back for more haircuts!
