The salon is so gorgeous! Such good vibes. All their products are vegan and cruelty free. I got a haircut with Colette and added on the 30-min head massage. It was glorious. Highly recommend her and this salon in general.

Chelsea is great! She has cut my hair for about 3 years now and it always just lays so nicely. I always get tons of compliments after she styles it and the style lasts for days. We recently cut it all off and she gave me the curly hair advice I have been waiting my entire life to hear. Not to mention her down to earth personality and friendliness. She says good things about the owners too; which is important because I want to support good businesses.

I saw Kristen for a haircut a couple weeks ago and I had a wonderful experience! She gave me the best cut I’ve had maybe ever. I have thick, fine hair and she worked with me to give my hair more dimension and volume. She also educated me on different ways to style it and take care of it which is always appreciated. I’ve been seeing Christine for over a year now and she is the best. I’ve never been happier with how my hair looks. She does an amazing job of listening to what you want, and following through completely. I always leave my appointments in the best headspace.

A friend referred me to Christine Conklin at this studio and I'm so pleased with the haircut she gave me and the whole experience. She was communicative leading up to the appointment and a delight to talk to. She knew just how to cut my hair to bring out the curls and volume. The salon is a lovely and comfortable space. Can't wait to get some color work next time.

Everyone here is so friendly and positive, and they do fantastic work without any fancy salon attitude. I found Lona because I was looking for someone who could work with my textured hair that continues to get even more willful as it greys - I read she was very talented with hair like mine and I'm so glad I trusted the reviews! She cuts great hair, and is an absolute delight. Highly recommend Pinn Salon!

I’ve heard the saying that stylists are “beauticians not magicians,” but here I’ve got to disagree. I had such an excellent experience at this salon with Courtney, she’s honestly a wizard with scissors. I came in with the vague request to shorten my thick, heavy wavy hair, and Courtney did a stellar job and left me feeling like a new, happier person with the cutest cut that was textured and layered and left me feeling light and downright whimsical. I didn’t even know exactly what I wanted, but Courtney gave me above and beyond what I could’ve dreamed up and probably the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten in my 30+ years. It’s fun and fashionable and I’m so pleased. I’ll happily entrust my hair to her for as long as she’ll have me.

I love this salon so much! As a gentleman who has had some terrible haircuts in my day, this is a place that I STRONGLY suggest. I have never walked out of an appointment with Courtney disappointed. Lona, thanks for making me the blonde I’ve wanted to be for some time! So happy with Lona’s work for the last year. I always leave feeling fresh and confident. I have to admit I generally don’t look forward to sitting in a chair for hours and keeping up conversation with anyone, but Lona is so easy to talk to and has such a radiant personality it’s hard not to want to hang out more. Courtney was awesome! She took a good amount of time with me to really get the perfect idea of what I wanted after not really getting my perfect cut since COVID (and with very thick hair) and really delivered everything I asked for after cutting and blowing out and straightening my hair. She really took her time in perfecting the look. 10/10 will go here again!

I am so happy with my hair I had to write a review even though I’m really not a person that can get it together enough to usually write reviews. Christine at Pinn Salon cut my hair a couple weeks ago and I love it. I have been searching for so long for someone to cut the giant, long curly mob on my head in a way that was easy to maintain and stopped the Rosanna Danna cue-tip action my hair always inevitably returned to after 2 weeks following my haircuts. It’s been a couple weeks, and my lazy hair keeping habits don’t seem to matter, my hair still looks good. I’m so grateful and happy to find a talented and fun hairstylist. I highly recommend Christine at Pinn Salon, especially if you have curly, thick hair.

I cannot say enough good things about Pinn. I randomly selected a stylist there based on availability- I saw Christine for a cut and Courtney for color (although both do cut and color - it just worked out for me to see them separately). I am so so happy I went. I came in with extremely damaged hair and a horrible haircut gone very very wrong. I didn’t expect much, was hoping it could be somewhat fixed - but it was pretty banged up from a previous salon experience. Both women gave superb consultations. As a former hairdresser, I understand the art of consultation. It is truly imperative to the process. Man oh man these women know their stuff. I felt immediately at ease. They gave their honest professional opinion.. which means everything. I don’t take kindly to hairdressers who just smile and nod and say ok they understand, and my hair comes out looking nothing like we talked about. I sincerely appreciate their honesty in letting me know what could and could not be done, what we were going to achieve at that appointment and what we would work toward achieving as my hair grows. I honestly can’t believe my hair looks as good as it does after just one appointment. Surprising given the way I walked in. Not only are they superior at their craft, they are so kind, friendly, sincere and down to earth. My kind of people for sure. I’ve been back a few times since and my experience just gets better each time. FINALLY have found my stylists for as long as they stay in Portland!! I’d probably follow them out of town if they left. Yep. They’re just that good. PS the salon is lovely. Super clean. Always welcoming. Go get a service. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Pinn. You saved my hair.

Crystal has been cutting my hair for almost 2 years now and I am super happy with her. She always listens to what I'm going for and makes it happen. I was in the early stages of growing out a pixie cut when the pandemic hit, and somehow the haircut she gave me in late February held up incredibly well for 4+ months, magically avoiding the dreaded awkwardness of a grow out. I know they are going above and beyond with safety precautions now for both clients and stylists. Would recommend.

I have been getting my hair cut by Crystal for at least 10 years and she always does a fantastic job and bends over backwards to make clients happy. She’s extremely personable and puts you right at ease. I will keep going there for another 10 years!

It was my first time at Pinn salon, and I had a totally wonderful experience! Courtney is incredibly talented and helped me to decide my style and talk through my options before she began the cut. She made me feel comfortable (great COVID precautions in place), told me about all the products she uses (organic and natural!), and she was a total delight to chat with!! She even accommodated my last minute request to trim my bangs just a smidge shorter - I didn't feel rushed in any way, and it was so clear that she wanted me to leave feeling happy and beautiful! It definitely worked!! And...not only is Courtney amazing, the salon itself has beautiful decor and the space is filled with plants (that are also for sale!) Its a win win! Go book with Courtney!!

It was relief to get a haircut at last, since my hair was growing out and getting wingy due to the COVID shutdown rules. The stylist wore a mask and shield, and I also wore a mask so they took good precautions. She did a good job with my cut, using the added length to restyle my hair.

Lovely salon and Lona is wonderful! She really takes the time to understand my hair and give the best cut possible. I have thick wavy hair in a short cut and she works magic every time. She is also a lovely person to chat with for an hour. Six stars!!!
