I love my shampoo cut and style by Anna. It’s always a little scary trying out a new salon, but I usually look online at reviews and photos. The receptionist was able to tell me who specializes in what and I left satisfied. It didn’t feel rushed and she constantly checked in to make sure I liked the length/ style. The other two photos were the inspo me right after my cut! I think she nailed it.

I have been to many salons around Charlotte and this is by far the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had. Booked an appointment to dye my hair brown, the lady doing my hair was rushing to get done with it to the point where I left with color in my ears and all over my forehead, and not close to the reference picture I showed of the color I wanted. The day after my appointment I noticed there were multiple spots where my hair was not colored properly and still light so I made an appointment to get it fixed. On my second appointment she only toned my hair so in a few weeks I’ll be back to uneven hair color. She was doing someone else’s hair while I sat with the toner in my hair for 35 minutes to the point where my scalp was tingling, not sure if this is normal or not. My hair was then washed by someone else and I was sent home with WET hair and color everywhere again. I have NEVER heard of reputable salons sending people home without drying their hair first. How am I supposed to know if I like my hair if they send me home with it dripping wet!! I’m very disappointed because I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place but my experience was just not it.

Been going to Planet 21 (Arboretum and the Fountains) since 2005. Amazing stylists and a fair price. Always have an exceptional experience and a quality product from these professionals. Highly recommend.

I'm new to Charlotte and a few ladies from MRHS recommended this salon. They fried my daughter's hair when they did her highlights. I was shocked. They made my hair super dark brown with no shine and dull undertones. Not sure what to say other than BEWARE and I won't be going back.

High end salon and great customer service. I go to Jen for cut and Mandi for color. They are a dream team! Beautiful atmosphere, reasonable prices, and you’re not waiting around for hours.

Meredith gave me a haircut this morning ( first time getting a haircut here) and she did an excellent job. She took the time to really understand my hair and cut accordingly. She’s sweet and professional and I’ll definitely make this my only salon for future haircuts!

I love Planet 21! It has a very sophisticated luxurious vibe with such a great accommodating staff. I go to Baylee for my blonde hair color and i know when I leave I will not have that gut feeling that I wasted any time or money. I always immediately take a selfie in the car to show everyone my fresh hair!! Make sure to ask for her for all of your color needs!❤️
