If you need an excellent colorist see Ashley! My hair had been through an ordeal and was three shades of bad at the time of my appointment. Rather than telling me it couldn't be helped, which was my fear, she corrected the color in one session. Now, I have a beautiful natural blonde head of hair that I love , and get compliments on often. I highly recommend you call Ashley for color.

Amanda is fantastic, HIGHLY recommend for color and blowouts. There’s no one better. I’ve been going to Amanda for years. I’ve lived in multiple cities and have gotten highlights in many salons in NYC, DC and Charlotte. Yet I always travel back to this Planet 21 salon location for highlights with Amanda. I even made a point to schedule Amanda before my wedding! My mom and aunt’s trust her as well! Never had a better color specialist.

Blowouts are ridiculously overpriced. 70 they add on an additional 25 haut to curl your hair. You’re better off exploring other blowout options.

Got a trim that was heavily needed as well as layers. Called in super last minute and they were able to fit me in with someone named Allison. They were amazing and they completely understood what I wanted! Love this place!

I have been going to Planet 21 since it opened, over 20 years ago. Char is the best stylist!! I have long, thick hair and she is an artist. Joanna does my color and highlights and she is the best!! Jordan is great as well. Joanna takes her time and listens to you and I get exactly what I want. I have recommended SEVERAL people over the years and they feel the same as I do-I will not go anywhere else!

If you want to them to do the exact opposite of what you ask for. Spend a ton of money and look the exact same as when you went in then go here. My sisters and I visited here and not only did they not do what we wanted they raked both my sisters hair out leaving their scalps sore. This place used to be great. Very disappointed!!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. This place is wonderful . From the moment you walk in the door the girls at the front desk are friendly before I sat down they asked if I'd like a drink , the place is beautiful the seating area is comfortable ,it looks a bit upscale however the prices are reasonable especially for the service you receive . I admit I'm a tad picky about my haircuts so I was nervous trying a new place and new person .My stylist didn't disappoint she was great I love my hair , I will be coming back and telling my friends all about my experience as well thank you !!!!

I have been going to this chain of salons for 10 years. In recent years it be quality of work done has declined severely. I have had a handful of bad experiences over the past 3 years but this last one was the worst. I got the worst haircut of my life and was in tears in my car when I left. I called later and asked to speak to the manager because the stylist thinned my hair out so much I barely had any left. The manager never called me back, I called a week later to talk to her. She was unapologetic, unhelpful and told me she would follow up with me to get my money back. Haven’t heard anything back from them, and at this point I don’t want my money back. I just never want to go back to this place again.

Jana has styled my hair for over 25 years. She has been the go to professional for my daughters’ proms, recitals, rehearsals, weddings, showers, etc. Not only is she extremely talented but has a sincere bubbly personality and is gorgeous.

Kelsey is the most professional, creative, knowledgeable hair stylist that I’ve ever had care for my hair and I’ve been to many salons in the area. She listens and shares her expertise. I strongly recommend her if you’re looking for an expert with color! 5 stars plus!!!
