Good place to workout,but i am having to cancel my membership due to simply not having the time to go. They should not make it this hard to cancel! No reason I should have to send a letter or go in. Should be able to do it through the app.

I’ve been a member at Clemson Road since July, 2022 and very pleased with the customer driven service and high housekeeping standards. The staff and management have always been friendly, helpful, and responsive to any concerns. As a stage 4 cancer survivor along with permanent injuries from a motorcycle accident, I have been committed to a healthy lifestyle. Planet Fitness has played a significant role in helping me achieve my fitness goals. With the Black Card membership I use multiple facilities across town as well as out of state. 5 Star!!!

Gym is usually dirty & WORST CUSTMOER SERVICE EVER!! You walk in and there will be 3,4 people behind the desk and nobody will speak or 1 MIGHT say have a good workout so low & unenthusiastically, you barely hear them. I just came in and the gym manager was behind the counter & none of the staff including the freaking MANAGER even said hello to me! I will be dropping my membership! To anyone who appreciates good customer service & expects to be treated with courtesy & respect, DON'T COME HERE!!!

I have been going here for a couple of years and I always watch Food Network now it’s not on at this Jim and I’ve asked them several times to put it back on Food Network instead of having all these news and football channels. I like to watch Food Network while I’m on treadmill so please put it back.

I like working out here. I get bored easily doing the same things for a workout routine. PF has enough different things to do you can always keep the workout fresh.

Good, friendly staff. I go early in the morning, and there is usually enough equipment open to do what I need. The floors are starting to bubble up in the female locker room and in certain spots all over the gym floor. I hope they fix those soon.

I had zero issues with this spot. I paid my membership dues for that last 3 years even though I haven't been.... I just forgot about it. I followed the rules and sent an email to cancel over a week ago and this location continues to charge. over $60 spent this month alone and I have no way to stop them taking my money. Guess they need it more than I do =)

I tried to cancel my membership before moving out of state but it was closed for days with no way to contact. I called once it was open and an employee told me I could cancel by sending them an email including my signature. I was ignored for 2 days and now they are not honoring what the employee told me to do. I am unable to come in and if I send a letter I will be charged for a month I wasn’t even in the state for. their communication is non existent and the manager who emailed me back was totally unwilling to listen to what happened. I paid on time and was a respectful gym goer for over a year and they won’t work with me to get this canceled.

The water fountain was not working. Multiple people told the staff about the issue. The only thing that the staff did was put up a sign to say it wasn't working. They could have at least checked the mechanical/electrical room to see if the breaker was tripped. It clearly had no power. Not having access to water in a gym is unacceptable.

Most of the employees are friendly and respectful. It's a good facility for the whole family to exercise and work out. Our daughter and son were both able to use the equipment and learn different exercises. It was a great experience being able to teach them at the facility. The monthly membership is reasonably priced. I hope they keep the low prices or $10 per month for standard membership and $20 per month for black card memberships.

Formal Complaint: Poor Customer Service at Planet Fitness Date: September 18, 2024, between the hours of 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Location: Planet Fitness - Clemson Road I am writing to express my disappointment with the poor customer service I received during my recent visit to Planet Fitness. On September 18, 2024, I encountered an issue with the non-functional cooling system in the gym. Upon arrival, the staff member (a black lady with two cornrow braids) approached me and inquired about the gym being hot. I shared my experience with the problem from the previous day (September 17, 2024), and she seemed concerned and pleasant. However, when I later mentioned the ongoing issue (as she casually walked the floor) and inquired about the cooling system being fixed, her demeanor shifted. Her tone became dismissive and annoyed, giving the impression that I was inconveniencing her. Specifically, she stated that she couldn't guarantee the system would be fixed by the next day, seemingly playing semantics with the term 'fixed.' When I politely addressed her tone, she abruptly ended our conversation and walked away. Although I appreciated her message about the A/C being looked at on tomorrow, I was taken aback by this sudden change in attitude, especially since our initial interaction had been cordial. Unfortunately, this experience is consistent with my previous interactions at Planet Fitness, where convenience is the sole reason I continue my membership. Recommendation: Prospective customers should exercise caution and consider alternative gyms like YMCA, MUV, or Planet Fitness (specifically West Columbia or Two Notch) which prioritize customer service. Suggested Resolution: 1. Staff training on effective communication and customer service. 2. Improved maintenance and prompt issue resolution. I hope Planet Fitness takes my feedback seriously and addresses these concerns. Thanks.

It’s clean. Staff are kind. My issues is them closing when they have power. They closed this location due to power outages but everyone else in the same plaza had power yesterday and has power today. Pretty upsetting. I travel a lot. This location has a couple missing equipment that I usually get on but I do like this location.

Love the gym and atmosphere even when they are bust. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Would love if they got a hip thrust and hack squat machine.

I became a member of this PF recently and so far I like going here. The hydro massage beds are out of order but overall it’s clean, spacious when not crowded, and most of the staff are very nice! I will definitely keep going back!

This location is a money scam and filled with steroid users that staff will point out to you. I have been very unsuccessful in my attempts to close my account. I initially requested my account be closed in-person on April 25, 2024. It was not so I went again on May 20, 2024 to cancel. It was not, so I sent an email on June 8, 2024, seeking cancellation and did not receive a response. It was not. I followed up with a third in-person visit on June 27, 2024 to close this account. In each in-person visit I was assured the account would be closed, and would not occur additional fees. It is still open and incurring fees. I requested that this account be cancelled multiple times, using different methods. It is still open. What else should you expect much from a location that knows steroids are being sold in their gym, and they don’t do anything to stop it? Planet Fitness continues to make unauthorized attempts to charge two different bank accounts without my authorization. They cannot make time to close my account, but can tag team two different bank institutions to try to take my money. Shocking…Management doesn’t respond to emails, and does not process cancellation notices. I requested a call back from them twice, and never received a call back. I emailed corporate. Corporate refers you to the club, and the club ignores you. Who needs the gym when you can run on this hamster wheel of confusion?!?! Cancel my account effective April 25, 2024 and waive any associated fees.
