I didn’t utilize this as much when I began to wfh as opposed to on my way home from work but it’s definitely not a judgement free zone. Individuals were fairly rude when I do the stretches I was taught to do to prevent shin splints since I was shot and shattered my tibia which isn’t my type of vibe. Two months into their “promotion” I noticed I was charged a $79 annual fee which was the point I decided I’m definitely never coming back to a planet fitness and should’ve listened to three friends who told me not to join and just pay the extra cash for an honest gym. After asking them about it they said it was in the contract (nobody reads a 200 page contract and they know that - I knew there was an annual fee but even at my company if somebody joins in August we don’t bill them until the following November and then on because it’s not in our core of ethics). The girl behind the counter rudely turned away before I could say anything else (I’m sure they get this 5 times a day). Glad Lina Khans putting a stop to your scams - you’ll have to clearly post the dates of any additional fees, we can cancel online (where the majority signed up) as opposed to the “home” gym an hour away or $5 certified mail. If you’re a shareholder this is probably your last year before their stock price plummets and Thank God our tax dollars won’t have to pay for the entire building devoted to gym membership scams. Until then I’ll just be waiting until next winter (for me the only time worth joining a gym) for the new gym up the street to finish because I’ve heard really good things about the location (surprisingly) in Hagerstown.

Clean, not the biggest but the layout works and lots of newer equipment. A nice gym to get a workout in passing through on my way back to MD.

Been a black card member for the last 7 years with PF Frederick. pF has been a go to gym with my busy working schedule. Recently I started to record my own workouts to analyse my own progress. I had my camera on while working out focusing just my self, the staff comes and says there’s no recording inside the gym. Disappointed. If that’s the case they should have it up on the notice like every other notice they put up. Waiting till crunch to open up.

Frederick Planet Fitness was renovated in 2018. The locker room looks a lot better. I may take a shower at the gym one day. They have more staff and everyone is friendly. It is now 2024, and Frederick PF has new equipment. They moved some equipment around, and the staff is still friendly. Sept 2024: Frederick location has a lot of new equipment and moved a lot of equipment around. I love it

Planet Fitness in Frederick, MD, offers a great gym experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the visit smooth and enjoyable. The gym is clean, with well-maintained equipment, and has plenty of space, even during busier hours. What really stood out were the amenities. There are plenty of tanning beds, a cryo pod for recovery, and, uniquely to this location, a relax pod—something you won’t find at other Planet Fitness locations. It’s a great way to relax after a workout. Overall, it’s a solid gym with helpful staff and some nice extras. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Planet fitness needs another location I’ve tried at all times of the day and it’s always extremely packed. People will still take pictures of their ego while you are naked not that I care I got a onlyfans. Just rude people that go here

This place has fallen to pieces. Replaced equipment, wow! With about half as much. Everyone I've known for years at gym has quit. Thefts, sexual assaults. (Google It ) high school kids getting free memberships all summer, standing around hogging equipment And now to save a few bucks the tootsie rolls have been removed. PF, no comment needed. You know yall screwed up. Staff is wonderful though.
