Overall, their services are good and plans too. The only thing is missing is more equipment. Other gyms have any equipment needed for other experienced athletes, take deadlift for example. Since most gyms are getting expensive, it would be nice if planet fitness had it's own too. Overall, it's a good place to work out fast.

It been 4yrs coming to this gym my only concern it the problem with the hot water since day one, male shower has a problem to keep it up. Need to be fix, specially on this season. Thank for the staff and any one how take action on it, and fix this problem.

They put a boot on my truck. Most Planet Fitness locations are very friendly to truckers but not this one. Wasn't even staying overnight.

Greeted by both people, John and the young lady. The black room ac still isn't fixed, and it's hot with hydro massage and tanning machines. It's been out for several months.

When using this planet fitness location on normandy it was found they rip you off if you give them any personal information or financial information, false advertise their services, and treat you in an unwelcoming way unless you are a child, black male, or young female.

edit: 1/10/25 the showers have since been cured. interestingly it's 2:22 a.m and the outside temperature is currently 35°, yet the showers are running quite HOT. (see previous edit below) edit: 12/10/24 how is it that an establishment of this caliber has showers that run ICE cold during the winter months? staff claims that the showers are always this cold this time of year, however i don't recall freezing showers last winter. something tells me there's more going on here because i haven't even had a warm shower at this location in several weeks. conspiracy. yes i said it - c o n s p i r a c y excellent gym with plenty of space, nice equipment and friendly staff. the spa is my go to. majority of the time, everything is quite clean, however the men's showers/bathrooms could use a bit more attention on the daily.

Jay lies to customers and doesn't follow up on her word. When she says she's going to follow up and call you back. You'll be calling her, she will be surprised to hear from you, and she will promise she was juuuust about to call youuuuu. Okay Jay. Nice job.

For anyone who has an issue with the hot water in the male showers, it is due to the distance from the boiler. Turn the water on, find a mirror, and see if you're making gains. About 5 minutes. Due to the water saver in the shower faucet, it takes time to clear the cold water in the pipe between the boiler and the faucet

I was 2 days in the row at this location ! I don’t suggest to go to this place if you want to take shower ! They have problems with the water system and most of the time they run out of warm water i took cold shower !

What I love about PF Normandy is the hours and amount of machines available ( except busy evenings..lol) What I don't love is only one hydro chair works. Having bad arthritis in my back, these help me get thru work. Plz fix them

Worst showers I've ever seen. None of the 4 showers in the men's locker room get any hot water at all and on top of that they don't even have shower heads! Just straight pipes coming out of the wall!

They really need a hamstring machine and new equipment in general. Everything is really dated and kind of dirty and falling apart. It's actually kind of dangerous. Handles are cracked or missing on machines, weights missing, hamstring machines don't even work. Have a lay down hamstring machine and where's the ab machine that you lift yourself up on? The staff is lovely, but the gym needs an update.

I have been working out for 10+ years and have been to many gyms all over Jacksonville. This location has very friendly staff, gym is always clean & organized and never very busy. The music is fun and upbeat. The floor plan layout makes workouts efficient. I am throughly impressed with this location and happy to be a member of Normandy PF.

I love Planet Fitness. It’s open 24 hours. It’s always clean. The staff is always friendly and has very good customer service. Equipment is always fixed and ready to use.

Love the gym and the shower is amazing but they really need maintenance. 4 showers 3 have no shower heads.

Tried to work out when the traffic was not too bad on the app, it was the lowest on the meter to say how many people were there, and when I went the men were 'reserving' the machines with their personal belongings left on them while they used different machines for the entirety of the time they were in the gym. I walked past the front desk and saw that another man was also complaining and said something to which the ladies replied "not all the men" were doing it. Apparently it's ok if some of them do it. It made for an incomplete workout in the time I had available and I left frustrated and nothing was resolved. I tried to call to speak to the manager to let them know it was happening but they didn't answer and their answering machine is full and not accepting messages. Overall, low quality customer service experience.
