Had an AMAZING experience at Platinum in the city Salon. Kelly gave me the perfect cut and highlights. It was very relaxing, she gave me exactly what I was looking for, and super friendly. I am so happy with my experience and will definitely be going back!

I get very very anxious about getting my hair cut. Heather made me feel comfortable the whole time, and gave me a haircut that I feel great about. I can't recommend her enough.

I was there while my daughter got her hair done on Tuesday. She brought in a picture of what she wanted done and Kelly duplicated it. It turned out exactly like she wanted. The new place in Clayton is easily accessible for all.

I am absolutely in love with the experience I had at Platinum in the City Salon. Kelly Stone was very straight forward on the entire process from start to finish. She listened to what I wanted and added what she thought as well. My hair is fabulous and I’ve had so many compliments. Whitney Hooks was also extremely knowledgeable about my skin care needs and the effectiveness of the products she was using. The makeup she chose was subtle but amazing. I would recommend this salon to any and everyone. The environment is soothing and made for a very pleasant experience.

I had my hair over processed by Susan. I met a few days before with her for a consult where I explained which products were already in my hair. My hair is black and she made me go platinum blonde in one sitting which damaged my hair. The color I was supposed to go far was a honey color, and I am stuck with platinum blonde hair.

I have been a client of Susan's for over 10 years. She works within my budget and suggests styles and colors that are flattering. I don't like to have to worry about what to do with my hair. I just want to know that it will look good. For reference, I'm in my 30s with wavy, thick hair and I work in an office environment. I get tons of compliments on my hair thanks to Susan! I trust her expertise. The salon is in a convenient, easy-to-access location. The salon is clean and sanitized. Salon music it is a pet peeve of mine. If I'm stuck in the chair for 3 hours, it better be good! The music is good and at an appropriate volume. The staff and clientele are diverse and easygoing. Another pet peeve of mine is annoying conversation between staff but everyone here is professional and kind. No pretentiousness. A true family-owned, community-based business. Any client would be in good hands at Platium in the City! They work with all hair types and clients of all ages and genders. On my last visit the chair to my right was a child under 10 getting braids and the chair to my left was a woman over 50 getting a no-frills crop. If you wanted a hot pink mohawk, I'm sure they could do that, too. My comments are my own and I received no incentive for providing a positive review.

I have been going to Heather Marler to get my hair taken care of for 15 years amd she has never let me down! I trust her with my kids hair now as well. Platinum in the cith Salon is very nice,.clean and everyone is very friendly and professional. I recommend this salon highly!

Love Platinum in the City. They have done a great job modifying the salon to adhere to the new standards for social distancing and santitizing. Plus the atmosphere is still welcoming and a place where you can relax and get a great color and hair style.

Susan has been my stylist for over 5 years. She is always on time because she is organized. She is professional and reasonably priced. She listens and is very attentive to your needs. She styled hair for my wedding and everyone loved her she was fun to have at the party in the brides room too!

I'm sure the other stylists are as well, but when you find perfection, there's no substitution. You will love the people, the environment and all the services they provide . Go there ☺
