I love this salon. I drive 1.5 hours so get my hair done by Aleah. She does a great job with my color and is always careful when cutting my hair. She's even Willing to cut my 9 year old daughter's hair. Aleah is so sweet and enjoyable! This is a great salon!

I was so happy to find this salon! Everyone is so friendly and the actual place is gorgeous! Avery did my hair and she did an amazing job. I’m always nervous trusting a new person with my hair but she really took her time and I could tell that she truly cares about giving you the best results possible. She is also so friendly and I love chatting with her when I'm getting my hair done. It feels like catching up with a friend!

I went here for the first time to get my hair done by Mikenzie! Not only was she the sweetest girl ever & so fun, but she did the most amazing job ever on my hair. She asked so many questions to make sure she was doing just what I wanted, which I loved because it made me confident we were on the same page. My hair looks stunning!! I can’t wait to go back :)

Mik was my hair stylist and she did such an amazing job! My hair felt so dead for highlighting it and refusing to cut it, she brought the life back to my hair and i’m so obsessed with it!! 10/10 recommend getting your hair done at Platinum on 5th!!

Time well spent! I went into the salon with a botched hair color job from a different salon, and walked out of Platinum on 5th not only relieved—but ecstatic about how my hair turned out. What I thought was cool, was how my stylist collabed with Elle and others on how best to fix my overly-bleached hair… and they nailed it! Mik was my stylist and she couldn’t have been more welcoming and pleasant to talk with while getting my hair done. Mik exceeded any expectations I may have had with the end result. I instantly fell in love with their rinse out chairs 🫶 They are soo comfy and I felt like I was laying down in a bed—I could’ve easily fallen asleep! Another thing to note is the shampoo and conditioner they use smells heavenly. If you’re looking for products to purchase, the salon carries lines of SEVEN hair care products in their retail area. All-in-all, Platinum on 5th offers expertise and professionalism mixed with personality. Doubt you’d be disappointed after your visit!

I’ve been getting my hair done here by Avery for about a year or so and I will never go anywhere else! She has amazing attention to detail which is super important for someone with a lot of hair like myself, as opposed to other hair stylists I’ve been to that rush through the appointment and miss pieces of my hair in the process! I absolutely love Avery and I look forward to every visit to this salon (which not to mention is very beautiful)!💕

This was my first time at Platinum on 5th, and it was lovely! The space is very pretty with huge windows and an open floor plan that feels so spacious and elegant. I followed Mik here and always leave her feeling so good about my hair. She is so insightful, gentle, talented, and easy to talk to. I’m not very well-versed with my hair, and she always helps me realize my often poorly-worded vision and learn new things. I had a 2 hour drive, bulky hotel check in, and a very humid walk after my appointment on this day, and my curls held up so well!

Anytime I go to platinum on the 5th I am never disappointed! I usually get my hair done by Aleah Reed and she does wonderful. The environment when you walk in is clean & the stylists are kind and friendly. Prices are reasonable, especially for the services they provide. I love it, 100% recommend.

Avery was so helpful and personal. She took the time and listened to everything I wanted done and did a great job. She took me from major root growth of platinum hair to an icy blonde with a root shadow. It looks great. The only thing that I didn't like was on the app for parking. I had to go move my car because you can only park there for 3 hours and then you have to move it to another zone. Hopefully it won't take 3 hours again lol. I understand it did because we were trying something from scratch. I will be back.

I have been going to Elle for YEARS since I moved to Columbus. Anything she touches is pure magic. So for my wedding, naturally I chose to stick with Elle & her girls for my big day. Avery did my updo as well as my mom and MOG, and Elle did my bridesmaids. My hair turned out perfectly and stayed all night, and the rest of the girls / moms were thrilled with their looks. Elle & Avery were true professionals, and I'm so happy to have shared a piece of my big day with Platinum on 5th Salon!
