Beyond her incredible skills, she was so kind and attentive, taking the time to understand my concerns and suggest what would work best for me. I’ve never felt this confident about my hair before.

I have gone to this salon for both my daughter and myself. By far this is the best salon I have ever been to. Exceptional staff and service. I highly recommend the Platinum Salon. They are amazing and will do wonders for all for your hair needs. The left photo is my daughter’s hair and on the right is my before and after photo. We are permanent customers of theirs.

I came with my mother and we both got our hair cut by Johnny. The word talented is an understatement. He is so precise in his work. He makes art out of your hair. He pays attention from the smallest details to the biggest details. I didn’t realize upon my arrival that not only would I gain an exceptional hair stylist but also a friend! I recently went to a place and had a terrible experience. I didn't like the cut, color, or blow dry. So I went to see Allen at platinum and he fixed it for me. The other place made my hair black when I wanted chocolate brown. Allen was able to fix the color, fix the cut, and styled it really nice. The whole experience was wonderful from my hair to the exceptional customer service experience. I went from feeling ugly to feeling pretty and it really made my day. Thank you so much Allen!!

What a great haircut I had with Johnny. I am extremely particular about my cuts and he delivered on all levels not to mention what a kind, caring and sweet person he is. He listens he cares and he delivers. He is a gem and I am so happy I found him. He also cut and colored my daughters hair and she looks amazing! I recently visited this salon for the first time and had an appointment with Johnny for a full head of foils. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by him, which immediately made me feel welcome. I showed Johnny my inspiration picture, and he got to work with such confidence and professionalism. The entire experience was fantastic! Johnny was not only talented but also incredibly personable, making the appointment enjoyable from start to finish. My hair turned out even better than I had hoped. He truly brought my vision to life. I highly recommend Johnny and this salon to anyone looking for a great stylist and an overall wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be returning!

Platinum is an amazing salon for myself and my family. Allen does my highlights as well as my wife's highlights and hair extensions.He does my daughters Keratin and Brazilian blowout treatments.The atmosphere and staff is super talented Ted and friendly.This Salon exceeds our expectations and we highly recommend this establishment.

Come to PLATIUM SALON! Allen is the BEST hairstylist, he listens to me & helps me with everything I need. I just got my hair blackened, and white platinum money pieces, I put in my extensions at home but he also gave me awesome prices in case I do want them. Allen OUT HERE helping me setting trends, right after I posted on my snapchat and Tiktok, I found one of my friend today got the SAME STYLE ! I love LOVE ALLEN! Allen also gave me this to style my hair!

I've been a client of Platinum for two years and my regular stylist recently left and I rescheduled with Johnny. I was initially skeptical because I didn't know this person, but we hit it off quickly and I was very happy with my haircut and style. What I LOVED about my original stylist was that, in addition to a flawless haircut, she would always give the best scalp massage and then style my hair with beautiful curls. Johnny won me over by doing these same things, without me having to ask for them. My hair looks beautiful and I'm pleased with the result. It was money and time well spent to get my hair done by Johnny!

Today was my first time at Platinum salon and it was such an amazing experience!! Johnny makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. The service was amazing and he completely transformed my hair. He takes his time with you and makes sure you’re comfortable the entire time. He did exactly what I was looking for and I can’t wait to be back! Chaos and neglection based on gender! This is my first ever 1 star review on google. Scheduled a mens cut and was offered to come in earlier day of - was happy to help out and be flexible. I show up for my appointment a minute early because the parking lot is horrific, witness a slew of random and overbearing conversations between staff and clients while being neglected, then barely greeted about 15 minutes after I come in, where I had to repeat myself about 7 times because it was so loud, while also mentioning my appointment was at 2pm. 2:35 comes around and I realize the stylist is still with a client, so I step outside. As soon as I see his client leave the salon, I run back in... only to find that a NEW client is in his chair. The receptionist states, "Oh, we thought you left..." and blankly stares at his computer screen. He offers to figure something out, pretty insincerely, - but at this point - what would that be? I'm officially over it. I was treated incredibly poorly, basically neglected and felt like trash throughout the 55 minutes of my first and last time at this salon (not including travel). I can't help but point to the fact that I was a male getting a $45 haircut vs. a female who I imagine is spending over $150. Oh, considering extensions? IDK about this place - I saw a pretty busted looking client walking out with them... Huge gaps between real hair and extensions - super obvious!

My experience at the salon with Johnny was a nightmare as he cut my hair very short chopped my hair where I absolutely have no style. Went back Owner Allen puts glue extensions to make it look good while Johnny looked not one apology sends me on my way. Here I am extensions falling out along with my hair . My hair so short NO hair salon wants to touch or is unable to fix as it’s choppy and way to short! 😔here is the cut and then with the extensions.

This is my 2nd time at Platinum and this time I had a scalp facial treatment by Jancy and it was incredible! I highly recommend this treatment. It was so relaxing, Jancy does the best scalp massage! My scalp feels so good and it’s not itchy or flaky like it normal. Then Alan cut and highlighted my hair and my hair looks and feels fabulous! LOVED my experience at Platinum. Everyone was amazing, so friendly, and talented. Had the best scalp massage I’ve ever had when they washed my hair. Walked out with the best haircut. Thank you so much!

Update: Following the best haircut was the best color highlights with Johnny. The pictures say it all! He artfully blended my ashy blonde roots with low lights and elevated by blonde to a more natural looking level! Love love love it!. The whole salon has a great vibe! Can't say enough good things about this Stylist and salon. Every visit just keeps getting better! There are a few photos of before and after and then my first post haircut. 1st review OMG! I just got the best haircut of my life with Johnny at platinum salon! First he touched up my ashy grey roots and blended them in beautifully. The shampoo was like a mini massage! And if you have neck pain- their shampoo bowls lift you head up and a foot stool keeps you so confortable and relaxed! Loved that! But the hair cut.... seriously- this guy knows what hes doing! A true artist who gave my flat shapeless stingy hair more movement, body and trxture than I ever thought possible! Ever want to go to one of those high end salons in New York and get your hair done - well you can have that with here in Tampa with Johnny who was trained and worked in New York! HE IS SO GOOD! But the whole place is fantastic! From the time you make an appointment with the very knowledgeable and pleasent front desk, you know this salon is different. Really focusing on your needs and making professional recommendations. The salon itself is beautiful and clean- they even sanitize the hair brushes and wrap them in plastic! The other stylists seemed really good as well- I saw a great precision mens cut and a Stylist giving an older lady a perm that turn out beautiful. Prices were extremely reasonable considering the outcome. You get what pay for but they exceed all my expectations! If you're looking to freshen your look, bring your hair back to life or a total makeover- make an appointment with Johnny TODAY- I predict that it wont be long before theres a long wait list!

I had my hair done platinum color and a cut by Allen and Natalia. I just moved to Florida a few months back and searched for a salon that specializes in platinum blonde and I came across this salon and I’m so glad I did. First as soon as you walk in your are greeted with such kindness and passion from the people that work here. Right away they gave me a great vibe. Now my hair perfect platinum blonde I love love love it. I definitely recommend this salon to anyone and everyone not just blondes. This definitely will be my salon I go to for now on. Prices where good as well. Don’t wait if you need any type of hair styling color highlights make a stop at platinum salon in Tampa. I had orange-blonde warm tones, and Allen made bright cool ash highlights for me. It took only 2 hours highlighs, shampoo, cutting and styling… i really recommend this place all of them were soooo friendly. Allen is the best, i can’t wait my second appointment

Today was my first time at Platinum Salon and I can tell you it won't be my last. The experience was amazing from the moment I stepped in the salon. The staff was so warm and welcoming. I had a consultation with Johnny who's AWESOME. He took the time to listen to my hair journey story and took note of exactly what I wanted and the highlights color I was aiming for. Went there for the first time based on reviews and word of mouth. I had Johnny for my stylist and to say he was excellent, is an understatement. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He demonstrated excellent skill with the scissors. All the staff was very welcoming and friendly and every client I saw was leaving happy. Absolutely coming back to see Johnny.
