If you want a haircut that literally will change the course of your life because of how good you will look, Abby is your gal. I’ve never consistently been so happy with my haircuts as I have since I started booking with her. She’s the best!!!

I was looking for months for a razor pro and google connected me to Abby the owner of Playhaus Salon. Her paperwork was more than usual and I actually liked that because it made me feel like she was interested in really knowing me and my hair needs. I was looking for something different and could not find it anywhere -other than my imagination. The place was easy to locate and Abby was attentive. Listening to everything and repeating what I said before she started. I was growing out my hair for over 2 years and it felt so good as she razored in. Dropping the weight from my crown from those years as we spoke, laughed and elevated our spirits. Everything flowed righteously. The music was good, Monica the other stylist joined in our convo periodically and it felt like a Playhaus! I made my next appointment for 6 weeks, but thinking I might need to go in 4 weeks instead. My mane? She's happy and we gonna keep her that way. But tell me what ya'll think of my hair? I love how it turned out! Thanks again Abby and girl we gonna have to karaoke sometime ;)

such a welcoming, cool environment! autumn is an amazing stylist who listens to your most inner desires and executes them to perfection. the whole salon staff was wonderful, can’t wait to come back ❤️❤️❤️

Abby Jane was my stylist. I was a first time client of hers. I found her on Reddit, was told she did an amazing shag haircut. I’m so glad I listened to my gut and made an appointment. She did NOT DISAPPOINT!! She is so very attentive to her clients, listened to my needs, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I have had such a hard time finding a new stylist who actually delivers on what I wanted, and she delivered!! She makes sure you know how to style your hair, and cuts according to your natural hair composition. The salon atmosphere is so welcoming and cute as well. I’m very pleased with my new cut and I feel amazing, I will 100% be coming back to her. If you’re on the fence on whether or not to book with her, I’m here to tell you to TOTALLY DO IT!!!! Look no further than her :)

GOING TO THIS SALON WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID IN MY LIFE!!!!! Abby is one of the most kindhearted person I have ever met, she is so easy to talk to and made me feel very welcomed and HER WORK is absolutely amazing! She gave me exactly what I wanted and then made it 10x better. I will definitely be returning!

I was tired of getting the same bland haircuts that didn’t really work on my hair, so I booked with Abby Jane. I am so glad that I found Playhaus because Abby Jane gave me the best haircut of my life, no exaggeration. She took so much time to razor cut a style that works for my specific waves and man does it look dope. Plus, it’s supe lr easy to recreate the look on my own since I am not trying to force my hair into a shape it’s not meant for. Also Abby Jane is dope AF. Had so much fun!

Abby did such an AMAZING JOB!!!! I asked for some shorter layers to help give some volume to my curls/curl pattern and she did NOT disappoint!! She is so fun as well which just makes her space so enjoyable and welcoming! I will recommend her any chance I get! I love love LOVE my hair!!🥹

Abby has been my stylist for about 4 years now and is absolutely incredible. She does amazing razor cutting and takes good care of me. She is fun and friendly, and i’m so proud of her for opening her own salon! She’s not the cheapest stylist out there but she is the best and worth every penny!

Abby is so talented! From the moment I walked into playhaus I felt so comfortable and welcomed. This is something that’s hard to come by in local salons I fear. Her whole team is also super friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to getting to come back every time!

Abby's been cutting my hair since I moved to AZ 2 years ago. She works with my natural wavy hair texture so I can wash and go, but it also looks great when I take the time to blowdry and straighten it. She's helped me keep my hair healthy as I've grown it out from shoulder-length to my mid-back, taking out weight when needed. I've gotten compliments on my bangs and cut numerous times, and she is the reason why. 100% go see her.

As someone who had never really found “my” haircut before working with her, Abby is kind, incredibly talented, and wants every person that sits in her chair to walk away feeling beautiful. I’ve recommended her to every single one of my friends who has asked for a stylist in Phoenix, and I even drive almost an hour to her now that I live on the other side of town. 10/10 worth every penny!!!!

I am soooooo glad I met Abby. My hair is so healthy and smooth even with the routine coloring. My frizzy hair is no longer. I get compliments on my hair at least once a week (that’s A LOT for me!!!), and people keep asking me where I go and if I could refer them to her. My answer: I wish I could 😉

I’ve been getting my hair cut with Abby (the owner) for 2 years now, she’s always come through with the best style I could ever ask for. I give her a vibe and she just makes it happen. I don’t like styling my hair and still the cuts and trims she’s done on me from a long mullet, to a pixie cut, to a bob style with rat tails have all been so low maintenance and grow out so beautifully. I can’t imagine how I would ever get my hair cut by anyone else again. Every time I tell her I want something different that’s not a regular cut or one I’ve seen before, she just sees the vision and it’s amazing the talent and love she puts into everything.

Spent MONTHS searching for a hair stylist that wouldn’t give me the Scottsdale Standard™️ bleach and curl and Abby DELIVERED! Came in with some rough inspiration and left over the moon with my cut. Can’t wait till my hair gets long enough to see the new salon space ✨
