1. Was not told nail color I selected would be extra cost and then 2. Tipped 10%, used the bathroom and had the manicurist come waiting outside of bathroom demanding more tip “we expect 20-30%” :/ had to hand her all my cash beware

This place is the best so far at Dumbo. It’s clean, spacious and very relaxing! All the staff is very welcoming but Franny is the best nail artist! She is so nice and always takes very good care while doing my nails! I highly recommend her!

My experience at Plaza M spa was wonderful! The salon is extremely clean and well kept compared to other salons I have been to. Bertha gave me a great gel manicure and was extremely thorough and meticulous throughout. I had the same experience with Doma and her eyebrow threading. Overall, the staff are very friendly and do their jobs with a lot of care and attention to detail. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is lovely and relaxing, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. Unfortunately my manicure has not even lasted one day. I got my nails done at 4pm yesterday and by noon today I’m already in need of a manicure.

Extremely clean, airy, and pleasant salon. I got a spa pedicure/manicure and it was well worth the cost. My technician was careful with my cuticles which can be sensitive and she was very sweet. Will definitely be back.

I got my first-ever manicure here in late September, days before my wedding, and they made me feel so comfortable and walked me through every step of the process. And my nails looked clean and so polished for my special day. I will be returning!

I switched to Plaza M Spa during the pandemic bc of how spacious and open it is and now it's my neighborhood spot. Service is always great for nails and massages are killer -like seriously ouch in a very good way! Highly recommend.

I’m sure this is a great spa but after watching them let their staff throw lit cigarettes and trash onto the street I decided to not go to my appointment. If they’re willing to throw their garbage on the street I can’t imagine how clean their establishment could possibly be.

My technician did my entire gel manicure in haste and cut my cuticles very roughly, to the point that she broke my skin and I started to bleed. When I brought it to her attention, she wiped the blood away with the buffer, and said it was due to my sensitive skin. 24 hours later, my skin is still irritated and because the cut is right at my nail bed, it is not healing. I paid for this manicure in full and was offered no refund or discount. The ambience is quite nice at this nail spa, but it is not worth the physical discomfort or the awkward interaction I experienced and certainly not at such a high price point. Also, as someone who works professionally in the entertainment industry and gets manicures exclusively for work, this spa has proven to not provide a reliable experience with quality results.

The technician was pleasant man. However I thought he was going to ask me to turn over to complete the massage. Even the cheaper spa massages do your head, hands, arms. None of that here. I hope it wasn’t because I was African American. I’ve had better ones.

This is my favorite nail salon!!! I’ve been going here since they opened in Dumbo and it’s been my go to for spa pedicures and massages. Everyone here is nice and friendly too! It gets busy on the weekends so I always call first.

This is my neighborhood spa and I’ve been going here for three years. This is full service and offer nail services, massages, and lash extensions. I’ve had all of these services. My favorite nail technician is Frannie, but all of them are fantastic. The spa is incredibly clean and upscale. Fully recommend!

What a bust and complete waste of time and money!! Technician was super lazy every time I asked about another area where the callus isn’t removed she started using excuses that ‘it’s skin not callus’. The entire time during my foot massage she kept in glancing at the stop watch like in ‘when is this over already’. A real letdown from my previous experience which was actually fantastic. Just to update: I have reached out to them and never received a response. I tried again some time later also didn’t receive any response.

I love this place! I only come in for massages once in a while. I always try to go to Max because he has very strong hands but is mindful about his pressure.

For the prices, I expected top notch service which is far from my experience. The foot massage that I paid extra for was just the woman rubbing my leg up and down to the point that it was irritating. It was so warm and stuffy in there and I was surprised they don’t offer you water or tea. My nails looked fine, but I can pay half that price right around the corner with a MUCH better massage. I won’t go back.
