Erin Armstrong has been my hairdresser for over 10 years and I could not recommend her highly enough. She is so incredible at what she does and cares about my hair even more than I do! She takes the time to not only listen to you and collaborate with you, but to teach you ways for you to take care of and style your hair on your own. I love coming to Plume Salon!

I have been going to Erin for over nearly 15 years. Backstory - I come from 5 generations of hair stylists so I grew up making my hair (and it’s health) a priority. From the first day I met Erin, she and I had an instant connection both personally and professionally. Her skill and dedication and passion for her craft is what makes her, hands down, one of the best hair stylists of all time. I have watched her evolve and grow in her industry and the fact that she is constantly seeking out the best products as well as making my hair (and all her clients’ hair) look amazing is testament to her dedication. I can’t think of a single better stylist who takes all their clients’ hair health and beauty as a personal mission - Erin is the absolute best. I cannot say enough amazing things about her.

Plume Salon is a beautiful, comfortable space to be transformed into your best self. Erin not only takes the time to make you beautiful for the day, she teaches and coaches me on how to recreate my favorite looks at home. She makes recommendations for supplements that support healthy hair growth. She is knowledgeable about all products to tame and style hair specific to my needs. She has spent much time teaching to blow dry and style my hair. I have gained skills and knows how to maintain my just-left-the salon-look. Erin is passionate about hair and loves to share her expertise with those of us lucky enough to be her client.

My favorite salon in all of Austin!!! I see Chelsea. She really pays attention to what you want and executes it perfectly. I love going to see her because she just exudes calm and kind energy, and the salon is super cute inside as well, they did an amazing job. Go see Chelsea at Plume, she’s the best!!!

Erin has been my stylist for almost 15 years. She’s seen me through many seasons of life and always has me looking my best. What I appreciate the most about Erin is how tremendously knowledgeable she is about hair and products, plus her dedication to continued education. She’s always learning and passing that benefit on to me. Oh, and she’s a fantastic human. What more could you want? Really proud of the salon she’s built. She has high standards, so I’m confident folks are in good hands with anyone on her team!

This is easily my favorite salon in Austin. Trying a new salon is always nerve wracking but my experience with Kaleigh exceeded my expectations. First, the vibe is HIGH. I love the small intimate setting. Kaleigh did a great job reviewing my “inspo” pictures and making suggestions on what would work best with my hair. She really made my hair dreams come true and I can’t wait to come back!

Allie the hairstylist is absolutely fantastic! She was cutting my hair with care and attension, rather than rushing through it. Allie spends time with her clients and will make adjustments slowly. 10/10 would recommend this salon. Super great stylists, relaxing decor, amazing location and love all the products they use. Kayleigh is especially talented with cuts and natural hair coloring (so much so that I sent my sister, a future bride to her!). If you are looking for a new salon, highly suggest giving them a call!

I went to Allie for a cut and I have never left a hair salon feeling so happy. I wanted to keep the length but get more layers and volume and she delivered beautifully! She made me feel so comfortable, listened to my concerns, and checked in along the way. I don’t want anyone else to cut my hair from now on :-)

GO GET YOUR HAIR DONE BY KALEIGH!!!!! I went on a trip and my blow out lasted ALL weekend and I received so many compliments. She is incredibly easy to talk to and don’t even get my started on how cute the space is inside. I wanted everything. I kept asking “where is this from?? And oooo I have to know where THAT picture is from!” I love that they give education classes as well, I definitely want to attend one! Do yourself a favor and go to Plume and See Kaleigh! You’ll thank me later.

KaLeigh (who is absolutely the sweetest person) absolutely rocked my hair! I love that she shared her own vision for my hair and paid attention to every little detail. KaLeigh did an absolutely amazing job on my haircut! She was so nice, easy to talk to, and talked through how I wanted my haircut. In addition to hearing what I wanted, she cut my hair in a way that was versatile so I could choose how I wanted it. I will definitely be going to her again in the future and highly recommend her for a phenomenal experience!

I went to Erin Armstrong’s new salon, Plume, for my first color and cut with her. After 4 months of neglect and a bit of my own experimentation, I was at a bit of a loss about where to begin with my hair. I began debating highlights, or low lights and how to correct my haircut. Erin’s holistic approach however, went beyond color and cut. She talked to me about the general health of my hair. It makes so much sense that your hair will look better when it’s healthy. I absolutely love her attitude toward her work. I instantly felt very confident that she would take good care of me and I was not disappointed!
