I have had the best experience everytime Tristan does my hair. He actually takes care of my hair. Tristan listens to what you want & he takes his time to get it just right. I've been going to him for around 5 yrs. He is a true artist with your hair! I'm so glad he & Julie have teamed up! I wish you 2 good health, prosperity & peace in 2025!

Absolutely wonderful. I lucked into meeting Tristan in my neighborhood on dog walks, and he’s amazing. He nailed my six-month-old color and cut perfectly and I could not be happier. I found out they validate parking at the garage behind the salon so you don’t have to worry about parking off of Fifth Avenue!

I live and hour away and drive it to see Julie. Julie is great because she is wonderful to chat with and she gives one hell of a cut. I am a stylist of 20 years so I know when I find a another good stylist. Jussayin! Cross my heart, you won’t regret it. Cheers, Alyssa

Nikki is absolutely amazing! She listens to what you want and suggests what may work best. Twice now, she has picked the perfect color. I would definitely recommend if you need/want a super cool hair stylist. I’ve already booked my next appointment. Can’t wait to see what she does with my hair the next time! The hairdressers who work in loft 5 just have such a great vibe about them. Definitely, definitely recommend if you need a new hair stylist or just want one 🙂

I’ve seen Maria at other salons besides Poiema and she is fantastic! She always does an amazing job with my hair cut and color. The location of Poeima is ver convenient off of 5th Ave as well, with a parking garage attached.

Tristan is my stylist and is wonderful! His color is amazing and he always helps me decide what I want with such patience and care. I see the other stylists work and they are all incredible. You really can't go wrong. I'm going to do a lash lift and tint soon, I'm super excited for this!

Ive been going to Nikki since last year and when they opened up Poiema Salon earlier this year it was a no-brainer that i would go wherever she goes to get my hair done. Not only is Nikki incredibly talented and possesses SO much knowledge, but the execution in everything she does and the way she explains it means she deserves more than just 5 stars. On top of her talents as a hairdresser she is beyond personable and makes everyone feel welcome. I truly enjoy getting my hair done now and for the first time ever I have a better understanding of how to do so.

Julie is absolutely fabulous! She is super knowledgable about hair growth and behavior and will help you with a cut/style to match so you’re not always fighting with your hair! Creative in her cuts too! 10/10 recommend!

Julie is excellent at her craft and so welcoming! Highly recommend her. I deal with eczema and brought my own shampoo and conditioner for her to use. She was more than willing to accommodate me. The best!

I had an amazing experience at Poiema salon! I saw Julie for a designer haircut when I was six weeks postpartum. I hadn’t been out of the house much because of having a newborn so it truly felt like a spa day retreat there. Julie was accommodating and helped make my experience fun and comfortable. She had delicious coffee and treats available to enjoy. She also listened to my concerns about my changing hair due to hormones and was able to help me pick a style that would be best for my new season of life. Thanks to Julie I was able to donate 10” of my hair to sick kiddos in need too. Also, if you park in the garage attached to the salon, they validate parking for you. Try to park on the bottom level so you can walk right into the salon from the garage. I highly recommend Julie and Poiema Salon!!!

I have been a client of Maria’s for over 5 years now and seriously will not let anyone else touch my hair! Having a hair stylist you can trust whole heartedly is worth its weight in gold! She has managed to get and maintain me as blonde as I want to be but did it in a way that has kept the health and integrity of my hair. I will never get tired of being asked when I’m out if my hair is natural and who does my hair! I have referred several friends to her and everyone has only the best things to say about their outcome and experience!

Julie is the BEST! It’s hard to get blonde color just right, but she always does. Even when I ask for vague or different levels of brightness. She has done balayage, mini and partial highlights, root blending, and more on my hair- always looks great. She is personable and is very knowledge about all things hair. Highly recommend!
