I am in love with my hair. I came to Kristen for the first time for a bleach and tone and she turned my hair into magic without damaging it. The curls were made by Sevgi, who is a new talented hairstylist. Together they made me feel like a beauty queen. I will definitely remain loyal to this place.

I love my cut and color. My stylist Kristen was awesome. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do with my cut and she worked with me to find me a style that I love. She did a great job blending my highlights using a partial foil. I highly recommend Kristen. The salon was stylish and clean. They offer complimentary beverages. Overall a wonderful experience.

I had went and found this place on google , the girl was very nice and I enjoy how it looked when I left . It has only been 3 weeks and my hair extensions should last about 8 weeks before I have to go agian . But it has already started to fall out on right side . It was so loose . So now it just hang on side . I have hAd extensions for over 5 years and never had this happen . Second I will say when booking I was told it would be 150 or 125 a row instead I was charge 200 a row . ( I have the text for proof ). I would suggest when a new client wants new hair I believe the stylist should be alittle more knowledgeable of price . It was explain to me the cost of pack and how it would be put in . I didn’t know I need two of them so I paid 2300 . Which is nuts . Then for it to become undone , disappointed. This was a lesson I learned hard way

You never know what your missing when you don’t try new places. I’ve been to many salons, which no one could get exactly what I wanted, I went here with a referral and found Sarah years ago. Now shes opened her own salon. The stylists are versatile, (which is awesome to do all kinds of cut & color techniques. I appreciate the use of all the best color and products. Grab you’re mimosa have a seat and enjoy your experience.

Too expensive. I was charged $75 for a blow dry and $130 to have 2 blonde streaks put around my face. My stylist was great and the people are nice but for those prices I don't think so.

I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn’t exactly sure, and Ashley took all my thoughts and idea's and made my hair look so amazing! My hair was so boring and flat, now my hair is full of volume and so fun! Amazing what a good cut and a blowout can do!

So where do we start!!??? This place is a total joke! We picked this place due to the reviews, well they must be paid for cause these people DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HAIR COLORS! My wife went today and the lady had no clue on how to do color! My wife was a nervous wreck seeing this lady did not know anything!!! So much more I can share , feel free to reach out to us, JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS HAIR STUDIO!!! And to top it off they changed her $350!!! I will do my best to spread the word about the unprofessional staff and under qualified!!! BEWARE, don’t go here!!!!!!!!!!

I was immediately put at ease the moment I walked into Poised! The professional atmosphere and friendly front desk staff was on point! I had initially scheduled my appointment with Ashley based on her rave reviews after some horrible experiences with other salons regarding IBE installations and experiences in general. Let me just say I was so blown away with Ashley’s creative recommendations, and her skill and talent were absolutely what I was finally hoping for! She created a beautiful color blend with virtually no chemicals on my fine and damaged hair and I could not more happy! Ashley is truly lovely, and passionate about what she does! 10/10 recommend for extensions and color! I received quite a few compliments on my hair the same day after seeing Ashley, and my hair feels and looks amazing! Highly recommend her, she will not disappoint! Thank you so much! ☺️

Tatiana scheduled me for a wash and blow dry.My appointment was for 1:30. I got there earlier and parked in the lot. She then called to reschedule for 2pm as they were running late. I said ok I’ll wait since they didn’t have anyone else who could keep the 1:30pm. She then called at 2pm to say it was now pushed back to 4:30pm as the stylist was still working on the first person. By that point I had been sitting there for one hour wasting my time. I don’t know how you can do this job and not tell how long someone needs for a service before scheduling the next person’s appointment. So unprofessional and I will never be back.

I am traveling and hadn’t had a haircut since December. I had been looking but just couldn’t find a salon to commit to. After reading other reviews about Poised I decided to give it a try. As soon as I walked in the door I felt welcomed. Everyone was very friendly. I chose Ashley because she had high reviews working on similar hair. I have a lot of hair that is coarse, curly, dry, frizzy…. You name it! I color it and straighten it. She wasn’t phased a bit! The products and methods she used to cut , dry, and style made my hair smooth, shiny, and healthy! She also told me what to do so I could keep this look! I am so happy with my hair and will definitely go back when I return to Sarasota next year. Thank you, Ashley!

I went from full dread and braid extensions to nano beads (poor decision for my hair type). My hair was a complete disaster; I did not think it was fixable and I would dealing with this for the next year. I could have never expected such amazing results! I’ve been told multiple times by friends and family, if I didn’t know you I would believe this was your hair. I was so happy to meet with the team at Poised and watch them create miracles with hair. From matching to coloring to the cut- expertise shined through. Add in patience, kindness a real class act! My hair is naturally fine and fragile and recent treatments had taken its toll. Every part of that last statement was gone when I left the salon. I turned out like the pictures I admired on their insta! I couldn’t believe it !!! I cannot recommend Sarah and her team more. So grateful!!

Went to Poised Beauty Salon today for a color and cut. Ashley did an amazing job on my hair, and she was professional along with being so sweet. I did not know anything about this salon, but I am so glad I went there. I highly recommend Ashley! The salon itself is beautiful.
