I have had two amazing haircuts with Ainur. She is great at listening to what I want my hair to look like and executing it perfectly. I always leave extremely happy with my haircut! It looks gorgeous and feels light and healthy! Highly recommend

Anuir as always doesn’t fail to impress me. She has a magical hand. I love the way my hair always looks so perfectly the same almost seamless. Please don’t go into a salon with dark hair and expect your hair to be beautifully toned without some patience and hours. Unless you want gold orange hair. She knows what she is doing and please trust the process. Magnificent and nothing short of extraordinary. I am a loyal client for the past 3 years. No one else can touch my hair.

Great haircut and blowout!! The hair wash was so relaxing and not rushed at all. Was a very calming experience. Love the layers and movement in my hair. The owner even gave me bagels on the way out! Very fairly priced. Would highly recommend!

By far the worst AND most expensive salon I’ve been to in the last 10yrs. First, they charged me over $150 more than they had said it was going to be for highlights/haircut, saying it was because I had a lot of hair—which, fair, I’ve heard that before, but I’ve never had someone not tell me they were going to charge significantly more until the very end when it came time to pay. Oh, and they did that BOTH times I went there. Quoted me one thing, and charged me significantly more. Second, this second time, Ainur did my highlights in a way that left really harsh lines that look terrible (see pic) that I’ve never had before. Third, when I came in to get them fixed, she and Michael only made it a bit better but did not actually fix them (and that took another 2-3hrs 😓) so I still have very noticeable lines and will have to go elsewhere to get them fixed—but they refused to give me even a partial refund on the nearly $600 I spent on the hair appointment (haircut, highlights, blowdry, tip). Instead they just tried to argue with me that it looked good and that they don’t see the lines. It doesn’t. They’re still there, only slightly less noticeable. See second pic of how it looks after they “fixed” it. I’ve never had those lines after any highlight appointment ever, and I’ve never spent so much $ on one either. You’d think I would at least get good quality for that much money, but nope—the opposite, sadly.

The only salon in New York I’ve gone back to! Ainur is an amazing stylist and takes her time before cutting to make sure she knows what you want. Usually it takes me a few weeks to like my hair, but I’ve come out of the salon both times loving it right from the start. Love this place and love Ainur!!

I have been getting my hair done at Poiz for many years. Both Michael and Ainur do an excellent job on my hair. They make you feel welcomed as if you are at home! Pamper yourself and get a manicure and pedicure with Julia! I highly recommend Poiz Beauty Salon.

Ainur is the best for a super long lasting blowout! The shampoo/blowout makes my hair feel so clean, super convenient and such quick and timely appointments. My hair always looks so good for almost a full work week! Such a good time saver and would highly recommend her.

I got an amazing hair cut and blow dry here! I was able to call and make an appointment same day. Ainler was my stylist and she was amazing!!! Understood exactly what I wanted and gave me such an amazing blow out! I walked out feeling like a million bucks! The salon was also very clean which I always appreciate! I will absolutely be going back and would definitely recommend to a friend!

I highly recommend to avoid this place at all costs. Ainur, during the consultation, reviewed photos with me of the hair I was looking for and we decided to get as close to the lighter brown I was looking for as possible - this was confirmed and this is when Ainur stated the price of almost $300. As Ainur said it would be at least like a caramel brown. She then walks me to the area to wash my hair and WHILE washing my hair (product is ALREADY IN MY HAIR for a while) she goes: “are you okay with dark brown”. I immediately ask what shes talking about and she doesn’t give me any info on what is currently happening/going on with my hair but just keeps asking if I’m okay with dark (towards the end of this “convo” because I kept asking what happened to our original plan she adds that word for word “light will wash me out”. What???) I didn’t have a choice at all I mean I literally told her no I wasn’t okay with it when she asked. She brings me back to the chair and I’m in panic mode. I’ve never seen my hair so dark and I naturally have dark brown hair. She’s stone cold quiet and even blow drys my hair after not even 5 minutes prior I asked her not to blow dry. She didn’t respect/listen to what I was asking for at any point during the appointment and was doing whatever she wanted on my hair from color to cut. Now i have my natural color dark brown on top (as I did before) and black hair (much darker than my routes/the rest of my hair) at the tip instead of the light brown I had in my hair previously. Let me tell you, I feel horrible about my hair and I keep getting upset just thinking about the apt I mean it feels looking back like I was definitely scammed. And after expressing over and over to her that this isn’t what I wanted or what we’d planned/confirmed together she still charged me close to $300. Overall, I have no idea what I paid for - gloss, toner, I don’t know. She didn’t and wouldn’t tell me what had happened or what new service she had done without my consent. The service I received wasn’t $300 worth of product or service and I did not receive the service we had confirmed both prior to the apt and upon sitting in the chair during consultation.

The best AirTouch Highlights Haircolor in NYC. I have ever done. Anur is amazing; I followed her to the Poiz beauty salon from Brooklyn. Anur always listens to what I want and knows what colors will look best. I absolutely love my result and will be doing it again. Anur did a great job cutting and styling my hair. It is a nice , small and cozy salon with friendly staff. Everyone was kind from the moment I walked into the salon! The most amazing experience! Top-notch, from the front desk to the perfect cut and color!
