We love Polished Braids!!! 💕 Have taken my 8 year old here twice now for box braids, and will continue to keep coming back. Quality is amazing, so easy to book an appointment, can’t beat the price for the quality, and they are all so helpful in helping with style choices. Everyone we have worked with has been very professional, my daughter loves that they put something up on the TV for her, and they get her in and out of there pretty quickly! I am not sure if this is the same one I went to or if they relocated or if it is part of the same chain but do not go to the one located off Milburn they are extremely rude and unprofessional. Lack common courtesy for clients especially new ones. Would not go back.

Fast service that started on time and the environment is clean. My only con was the communication. I was sent a message the night before with the policies, most of who require a 48 hour notice. That’s totally fine but that needs to be communicated when I book not the night before my appointment

I think this place must be out of business. I made an appointment that has been left in the pending stage for over 3 days. I sent 2 emails via their web page and never received a reply. I called the contact number on their website repeatedly, and not only is it never answered, their voicemail is not set up to receive messages. Unprofessional at best.

Always a fabulous experience getting my hair braided. The ladies working are efficient and do an amazing job. I leave loving my hair and feeling myself. 10 out of 10 recommend!

HANDS DOWN BEST IN FRESNO! Professional and great customer service All around. Scheduling is easy, They Offer So many cute protective styles, You got at least 2 people on your head at once … which knocks off a lot of time. I’ve been going to polished braids for a good 6 years now and haven’t looked back. ALWAYS leave feeling my best. Cause if you look good, you feel good 😁

Inconsistent at best. The first time I went for paradise twist, they came out phenomenal! The 2nd time I got paradise twists, they were already sticking out and unraveling by the time I got home. Not to add to the fact that it took 2 hours longer than it was supposed to. Lastly, I took my kiddo in for rainbow Dutch braids. I confirmed the color days before the appointment. We get there....no rainbow hair. I overheard the stylist talking on her phone(while doing my kiddos hair) that the color was left in someone's trunk. I was going to get charged extra per bag for them to try to make their own rainbow version. I whoo saaaed and my daughter picked a pretty lavender color. Been home for a little bit and it's already sticking out. They didn't do that fine finishing like many salons do, ie cut the frays away, clean up the braid,etc. I won't be going there anymore. The 1st time I felt that the money was worth time saved, but not with this inconsistencies.

The girls are Great, Shantell has been braiding my hair over 4 years and it has grown so much. I will not go anywhere else except Polished braids. They take really good care of you.They are the best Braiders in Fresno hands down!!

After finding this shop on Instagram, I decided to go ahead and book. The work looked so neat in the photos so I had to check them out for myself. As someone who hasn't gotten braids in years this was such a pleasant experience. Here I am freshly styled and not in pain. Jimmy , Chantal and Jada were amazing and exceeded my expectations. These folks take your hair goals to hair reality. Very professional and takes time to cater to the customer. Great service, very neat hair, patient, organized and willing to work with difficult hair. As someone who struggles with her hair, these folk did not come to play. They made sure I loved my hair and took time to make sure I was comfortable thru and thru. Thank you, I will be returning. Not anytime soon bc my hair is LAID and it's gonna last.

The hair is cheap and tied together to make the locs longer. They are not true custom locs.

They are so lovely. They get the job done in minutes. I'm grateful I found them. They communicated very well and were two doing the hair, which took an hour. So instead of spending time braiding, the time was spent achieving my daily activities. I'm a happy customer and will be back. I advise booking ahead of your braiding day. The charge wasn't unsatisfactory compared to other places. Once you make contact via text, they will give you directions and once you arrive you make a right turn and will meet friendly faces. So just come on down and relax; they got you.

I waited 2 hours because she “overslept,” for an appointment that only took 1 hour and I was charged way more than I should’ve been after driving from another city and having to wait that long.
